11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

The hosts at the museum are wonderful people and their stories are so touching. Meeting them was worth the cost of the trip.

It was awe inspiring to walk amongst the fighting positions where soldiers had fought so valiantly to hold their ground.

The cemetery and chapel are beautiful. The guide was top notch. Loved it.

Wonderful people.

Jon was awesome. Very careful and got the bus in locations I wouldn't take a Volkswagen.

18-day Central Europe Remembrance Combined review

The tour was great. The only suggestion I have is on walking tours, some time needed to be made to sit and rest along the way. Many of the people on the tour are older and 3 hours of walking is a lot without a break. I would not hesitate to recommend your tour to friends and family.

18-day Central Europe Remembrance Combined review

very satisfied

We were glad to receive some excellent maps and some basic words in the languages used in the countries on the 11 day basic tour. However,we didn't receive any maps or language handouts for the extended 8 day Eastern European tour. After asking, still didn't receive any maps. Nor did our tour guide verbally fill in the missing information.

Twice we had hotel rooms with a sitting room, which was very nice. All the rooms were clean. A few we found the lack of a larger shower curtain or retaining flap quite a challenge to keep the floor dry. Also, it would have been nice to have a fan, like we did in Holland, since the ac didn't always cool very well. The biggest problem was the very low quality of breakfast in France. A few of the hotels- Germany and Holland I believe, had wonderful breakfasts

These stars are for our 11 day B of B managers- Charlie and Mary. They were both outstanding as was our bus driver, Csaba!!! However, on our 8 day extended tour, Steve was a disappoinment. When we asked him questions, he usually knew the answers, but he missed many opportunities to teach us. Little things like not using the flag and not always having a manager at the front and back make a big difference. Many of us missed the maps and language page we received in our BOB packet. Also, he should let individuals decide to turn off their transmitters, rather than him not wanting to bother using them.Frankly, it seemed more like a job to him, but to Mary and Charlie it is a passion. Our 11 day BOB group thrived on their passion, always peppering them with more questions. That experience made the 8 day extended tour difference even more obvious. Cassie was helpful in a lot of little ways. We also noticed that the different bus on the 8 day tour had less leg room between rows. A few inches makes a bit difference during the long day trips.

Our 11 day BOB bus was very nice and Csaba was very professional and had an excellent working relationship with Charlie and Mary and to all of us. As noted our 2nd bus was a bit more crowded and we didn't get to know the driver at all. He seemed very competent. The biggest problem on the 8 day tour was they seldom had any or enough water chilled for anyone and these countries were much hotter than on the 11 day tour.

Very good.

Overall it is a very good tour. The two most important changes are to have both sets of tour managers equally prepared and passionate and to incorporate higher quality/local/national food. (always offer a second side when french fries are offered)With this said, we will be mulling this tour over in our minds for the rest of our lives. We have already told many people about the tour and this company, including a stranger I met in London right after the tour. Keep up the hard work! It is appreciated.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Very moving!! Beautiful! Special moment to be able to be a part of the Memorial Day ceremonies. Francois did a fantastic job during our Normandy stay.

Moving!

Beautiful!

Amazing what they accomplished!

The local guides were fantastic!

Beautiful!

Very well done!

This portion of the tour was a bit long for me. Charlie forewarned us that this day was going to be a challenge both physically and mentally. With this day being towards the end of the trip, it was especially challenging. In my opinion, this area is should be for the Third Reich Tour and left off of or abbreviated for the BBOB tour.

Wow! I didn't know the difference between the Berghof and Eagle's Nest. The bunkers were neat to see and, of course, the views are incredible!

Each guide was OUTSTANDING!! Well done!

The meals served in the local restaurants and at the other hotels during our trip were fantastic. I am a picky eater and was able to enjoy everything that was served.

Charlie and Mary are fantastic! They ran a tight ship and for good reason! Loved having them lead the way and would happily follow them ANYWHERE! We also had a fabulous group. The chemistry amongst us was unreal and everyone's punctuality, respect and overall commitment to the tour's schedule and protocol just made for an incredible experience. That doesn't happen very often! I'm sure this made Charlie and Mary's job a little bit easier and more enjoyable, too!

Our driver was amazing! He negotiated the roads and towns beautifully. I can get motion sickness from time to time, but not once this time! He was FANTASTIC! The MB coach was immaculate, well driven and pleasant to travel within.

Procom is an excellent tour company. I will travel with you again!

The Beyond The Band Of Brothers tour is fantastic! The group was managed perfectly by Charlie and Mary and we had an incredible group with which to study. The tour is very well planned, scheduled to a T, and very professional from the top to the bottom. This tour brings together the books, movies, documentaries, classroom history lessons, and oral histories and puts you right into what happened in 1944. You can see it, feel it, smell it, taste it, live it! The tour will also reinforce the patriotism within. It'll make you even more proud to be an American. It has been a month since I was there and I have thought about my experience there every day since.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Always friendly and it was like talking to a friend who had experience with the trip and the areas we would visit.

Most needed information was provided, but I would have liked to have received a bit more detailed information prior to the trip rather than a repeat of the same information that was in the tour book. For example, instead of saying "be prepared for a variety of weather," it would be helpful to report the average temperatures in various cities during the months of travel. Instead of just saying to wear sturdy, weatherproof shoes, perhaps explain the types of terrain that would be encountered a bit better. It would have been good to give an example of what most people wear on this trip vs say it is casual and wear comfortable clothes. Wearing sport slacks vs field pants or t-shirts vs polo shirts, or sweatshirts are okay vs wearing sweaters, etc.

All were nice and clean, but having air-conditioning or at least a room fan to circulate the air was needed in all but the last. Also, the European tubs and 1/2 shower doors are something to contend with.

We went to National Military Museum in Luxemburg which was fantastic.

They were all very good, but there was too much food.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

The women on the phone were excellent, especially one whose name eludes me now. Very personable and friendly and was quick to return emails of phone calls! Very good service!!!

We knew enough and felt the rest would be forthcoming during the actual tour.

Rudy was an excellent guide and very personable. He made it a point to meet all of us one on one in the bus! Very nice man! Wish we had time to spend in his city of Bayeux, but due to the rules for the bus driver, we had to get back on the bus after eating.

Henri was great! We were a bit pinched for time....he really wanted to show us a few additional sights but for some reason we were not able to. Having someone who actually lived through The Battle of The Bulge and could tell us stories was fantastic. I made it a point to sit with he and his French-speaking wife at dinner that night. He was so nice: he walked me down to the post office in Bastogne, and made sure I knew how to get back to the hotel.

The guide was very passionate and even opinionated about certain issues, but he really knew his "stuff"! I would have liked it if he came to dinner with us, but instead he went to his place of residence in Munich.

FANTASTIC! This guide was also excellent and i loved that he took us to the sight where Hitler's main house had once stood.

I have never eaten so well and felt like a king. This was unbelievable!

For all the reasons I have previously stated. I hope I can join you for another tour, but this will be dependent on the dates that are offered.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Except for a couple of technical issues separating travelers in a family group- very satisfied. Issues were finally resolved and emails always answered promptly. Well done! The issue was software; trying to keep emails separate within a given travel group.

Extremely satisfied! Loved the "This day in history" and hope they keep coming; read every word. :)

Well done.

Especially appreciated seeing this!

Excellent!

Scholarship expected and delivered. Especially appreciated managers' attention to detail/timing, etc. And of course, that ever important business of making certain that travelers KNEW and WERE expected to be on the bus at such and such a time. I have been on tours where somehow the divas sensed they could get away with being late and were late ALWAYS. We were blessed that on our tour there were no such passengers. Divas can become annoying and a "Chinese water torture" in that such behavior becomes a distraction.

Excellent!

Met our expectations and then some--except for hotel in Caen--A very comprehensive tour; passionate and well informed guides; fun directors! Attention to detail. Think the group should be kept to 30- once we picked up the extras beginning the Holocaust tour, I think the dynamic changed somehow. Also....I WOULD SUGGEST MAKING THE LENGTH OF THE TOUR A FEW DAYS LONGER so that more time could be spent at the sites. That suggested, would very much recommend this tour and your company to anyone sincerely interested in learning more about the events which took place during that tragic time. For me, just to actually see and touch did it. Thank you, all! PDW

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

I would have like to know the specifics of the daily itinerary sooner, in order to be a little bit more well read on some locations.

All of the hotels were very good. The locations of the Holland and Munich hotels could have been a little better perhaps. But the Munich hotel was right by the tube station so access to downtown was very easy. These were minor issues in both of these locations.

Rudy, Steve and Henri were all amazing! They were all very good. These three stood out.

I have seen comments about too much food. I disagree vehemently. I took my 20 year old son. He and I were very satisfied and did not feel at all that there was too much food. It was all excellent, however. It greatly surpassed my expectations in quality.

She was great. She was very through, approachable and helpful. Marietta was always pleasant and friendly.

Peter was AMAZING! I have been driven on buses in many countries including some of the most dangerous roads on the planet in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. He was the absolute best driver I have ever had the privilege of riding with. The wifi should have been fixed. Minor perhaps but if I had needed to do more work on this trip it would have been a killer. This does not need to happen to another group.

I would absolutely recommend Procom Tours.

7-day Battle of Britain review

It was an added bonus to see the Spitfires and Hurricanes practicing landing for the air show that weekend.

The dinners took a long time but the food was always good. I'm sure they're just a few kinks to sort out.

The bus driver was amazing! He got out bus out of some tight spots. He was a very skilled driver.

Overall, the tour went very well. The guides were very informative and well spoken. The locations we went to were very significant to the war, and it was incredible to be part of such a group that went to wonderful locations.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Cassie was our contact and provided excellent service. We had the opportunity to meet her toward the end of our tour.

We were hoping for more information about our fellow travelers. Only one page of profiles was provided. I expected everyone would have had their profile posted. other travel information was useful. Reading list was spot on.

The Mercure, in France, was outstanding and conveniently located within a short walk to town. we enjoyed an evening walk for a cup of cappuccino. The hotel, in Holland, severed the purpose for one night. We were happy not to stay there longer. Bastogne, again a short walk to the square which was nice. Munchen, nice but far from town.

Rushed. Should have let us out at Foy. Very much enjoyed the guides knowledge and fist hand accounts from his childhood. Well done at Bastogne Barracks.

Never got there due to special ceremony. We did getto the museum at Diekirch, which is outstanding.

Somber. Important to be there.

Excellent guide. Certainly adequate time provided.

Same guide and again excellent. Only suggestion is that the walking pace may need to adjust for the older folks as they could not keep up and dropped out of the walking tour.

Excellent spot, but very much an attraction now. Would have preferred a lunch stop in town rather than the guest house.

All guides are outstanding. Many thanks for arranging the time.

Outstanding meals. Much better than expected with the exception of the truck stop packaged lunch on the way to Munchen. The group was not informed of where we could sit to eat and my wife and I only discovered the area later. It was very sad to see the older folks sitting on a rock or curb. This needs to be better communicated or find an alternative.

Top rated tour firm. Only small constructive comments provided.

Beyond Band of Brothers provides a tour with a military history theme, but it is not a military history tour. We definitely enjoyed our time, but now need to return to get the missing detail. I would recommend the tour to anyone with that understanding. You provide an excellent tour, with great accommodations and meals covering a tremendous amount of territory and sites within the time provided. With a short ride into Austria to access the Autobahn, we went into six countries in 11 days. Wow!!

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Answered all questions about trip.

Nice hotel in Holland, just a litte far out from the main city center. Know that we were only there for a few hours. All breakfasts in each hotel were wonderful!

OUTSTANDING! Our guide, Rudy, was really impressive. Extremely knowledgable and great personality! Make sure you keep him around!

Yes, yes and yes! Again, Rudy made all of the difference!

Loved getting to see the foxhole at Bois Jacques. Henri, our tour guide was great and, having lived it, made it all the better. Seeing the town of Foy and then the Bastogne barracks highlighted the day.

We did not get to go to the Bastogne War Museum due to activities going on there. So we went to a museum "Musee National H'istoire Militaire in Luxemburg. This museum was top notch. Great subsitution. I would rate it 5 stars

Nice stopover and getting to see Patton's grave. Also, if you looked Sgt. Muck of the 101st Airborne is buried here also. Not sure if any other members of the Band of Brothers is here.

Sobering....Solemn place. Keith, our guide did a great job of explaining all to us about the concentration camps verses the death camps.

Another highlight of the trip. Our guide (cannot remember his name) was fantastic. Very knowledgable! Loved going to the top of the mountian and hiking a little around the area. Great weather was an added bonus! Food and beer at lodge was yummy!

As I read other reviews before I left, most negative comments were that there was too much food. I remember thinking that that was probably not true. Having done the tour now, can't believe how much food I consumed during the trip. Food selections were good and ample amount served. Best meal was probably in Holland. Great sea bass! With that being said, all meals were very enjoyable!

Marietta did an outstanding job controlling all of us and making sure that we were all there at the appointed times and places and didn't leave any of us behind! LOL. Keep her around. She is very knowledgable. Only one correction was that she was saying that the artillery at the crossroads was German, but if you go back and watch Band of Brothers or read the book, it talks about or shows that Winters called in an artillery strike to help with the 2 companys of SS. She was insistant that it was only German artillery. Loved her.

Peter was a magician at maneuvering the bus. Only negative comment was that the Wifi was broken when we got on the bus and was never fixed for the 10 days we were gone. Should have been taken care of someplace!

11-day Central Europe Remembrance review

All the hotels were great. The Corinthia was astounding.

Munich held quite a bit of history, but there were not many sites.

Our tour guide here (Kieth, I believe) was extremely knowledgeable and was able to make the camp tour feel like a completely different tour compared to our last time through.

Our Eagle's Nest guide was great, and was able to take us to lots of spots that most tourists wouldn't get to.

Steve and Kieth doing Eagle's Nest and Dachau respectively were the two greatest guides by far. When doing the Band of Brothers tour last year, we had Steve guide us in Dachau and it seemed a bit out of his wheelhouse.

All the meals were incredible. Great job!

Overall, having been on two Procom tours now, I have been extremely impressed with the service from the moment we start talking to a sales associate to the moment we get on our plane home.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Having visited Auschwitz-Birkenau, Treblinka, and Plaszow in 2009, I was surprised at how pristine the camp looked, the impression that was made visiting it. Completely different feel from what I experienced in Auschwitz. The guide seemed surprised when both my wife and I commented about this. Just might be the difference in presentation approach by the Germans versus the Poles.

All very very knowledgeable, personable, and very willing to share their stories and experiences, very willing to take questions. I especially like how our Normandy guide (sorry forgot his name!) took the time to meet with each person/couple individually.

Too much food! While the food was excellent, and the service nearly impeccable, there just was too much. No need to two large pieces of meat at lunch, for example. There were times when we thought what we had just been served was the main course, turned out it was simply the first course. The result was a lot of wasted food. Yes, the meals made a very good impression, and the locales where we ate were fabulous (except for the quick meals on the road at cafeterias), there just was too much. Yes, it is hard to complain when the food was so good but I was so full all of the time.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

The Best Western had small number of staff and I had some difficulties with my room but its location close to the square was great.

To feel the history of Omaha was a once in a lifetime feeling. I felt that the German cemetary should not have been first stop on the tour. It should have been last on that location

Hold until relieved! I will always remember that feeling from the British Commander

Great to stand on ground that Capt Winters captured. Enjoyed the feeling of pride for what his platoon accomplished that day

Speakers were interesting, much of info was on various history shows.

I stood in a foxhole that was still there from the war. It was great to experience the feeling

A very important place to see the graves of the soldiers and learn the story of Gen Patten's grave. Lecturer was very knowledeable

I grew up in the 50's and watched many films of the holocaust. I visited the New York Holocaust museum but didn't feel ready to change my feelings of the sacrifices of our troops to the levels of degregation of the German soldier.

A fantastic site, should not be remembered with Hitler but it can't be changed

Rudy was very knowledgeable enjoyed his talks and personality extremely very much.

The food was plentiful and excellent.

I think Andrea did an excellent job on the tour. She was knowledgeable, lead the participants well, kept the tour focused and on time. Her personality and patience made this tour one of the best experiences I have had.

I would definitely recommend your tour.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

We were very satisfied with the information about the tour. Everything that gave us was good.

Having never been to Europe before, I had a little "culture shock" with the showers, but for the most part, the hotels were very good.

Awesome. It was a thrill of a lifetime to get to go there.

Great. I consider myself well read on the subject, and I learned a lot. I especially enjoyed Rudy, the local expert. I love being with people that are enthused about what they are doing, and he made this part of the trip, along with the rest of his presentation to us, very memorable

Great. Had no idea how big the port facility was at Arromanches was and really enjoyed the presentation on Juno Beach.

Great. This has always been a favorite subject for me, one of the great coupe de mains of the war. The museum was great. Especially the presentation by the member of the staff.

Great. Was a thrill to get there.

Henri was great. I would have liked to seen more of the battlefield here, but I realize there is only so much that can be done in a day. What we did see was great.

Very well done museum.

The member of the staff there that did the presentation to us was great. I am so impressed with the care that is given to the graves of the fallen at the two cemeteries that we went to. Very important part of the trip.

This was an important part of the tour and was well presented by the local expert. Very sobering.

Great view. Information was well presented by the local experts.

Rudy was super. I love people that are fired up about history. Jeanne was good, and gave great information. I wish we were able to spend more time with Henri, he was super. Steve in Germany was very knowledgeable.

No complaints. Food was overall was very good and well prepared.

Nandor made this trip a very enjoyable experience. He was very well educated on the war and the sites that we went to. There were no problems at all on this trip. Nandor made this a trip that I will always treasure in my memory.

If I ever start a bus company, I would want Mr. D to train my drivers. He was the best bus driver I have ever seen. Very skilled.

All our expectations were met. We had a great time.

The most important thing I found was that the trip was as advertised. The brochure you sent us matched up to what we experienced on the trip. I would recommend your tour because you delivered the experience that you put forth in your advertisement. No glitches, no problems, no promises broken.

The hair dryer at the Hotel Mercure Omaha was very outdated. They need modern dryers that will dry a thick head of hair!!! The rest of the hotels were wonderful!

Nandor was very professional and handled all issues in a way that avoided conflict - a very cool character.

Made excellent use of the time allowed; the food was great; we saw several sites that were off the beaten track and added a lot to the experience; the local guides were a huge plus.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Excellent. The local tour guide we had for our stay in Normandy was excellent.

Excellent. I was surprised by and appreciated the effort your group went to facilitate the visitor we had that was dressed up and played the role of an American Soldier.

Good stop. Beautiful little town. Enjoyed walking around here.

Excellent. Thought some of the displays in the museum were the best we saw anywhere.

Interesting but not much to see here.

The Holland segment of the trip was my least favorite. Could have skipped it as far as I was concerned.

Excellent, good local tour guide.

The speaker/presentation was the best of the entire tour.

Liked downtown Munich a lot. Wished we had been there other than a Sunday afternoon when the shops would have been open.

All very good. Much better than I expected traveling abroad.

Andrea did an excellent job in what has to be a difficult situation (trying to herd cats) and keep everybody happy.

Everything we hoped for. Have already recommended it to friends.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

It may have been on the web site, but a more detailed itinerary of where we would be and on what days.

Great breakfasts at all hotels. They all were clean and quiet. I did not care for the wine offered at the Hotel Mercure--chilled red wine on tap?!

Guide was excellent.

Interesting, but not enough time to fully view. Guide was very interesting.

An improved tour would include seeing German vantage points. Henri was an excellent guide. Liked going through the barracks and seeing the tank exhibit.

The guide was excellent. Loved the maps showing the campaign in northern Europe.

What made this excellent was our guide, who showed us the offsite venues (SS barracks, and mass grave).

Interesting presentation that included photos of the various venues in the Nazi era (very effective presentation). Would have been nice to have more time to roam around town on own.

Beautiful scenery on the way to the Nest. Guide gave excellent behind scenes tour of tunnels and Nazi homes. Lunch in the nest was nice (glad we had to change to this venue)

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

The information that was sent to us before the trip was terrific. It really helped me prepare for this trip.

I felt well prepared for this trip.

The hotels were very nice. It was true what your pretrip information said--European hotel rooms are smaller that US. Everything was just wonderful--clean, efficient, and the hotel restaurants were excellent to me.

If I had done this trip on my own I don't think I would have covered what this trip covered. We were in bed by 10:00 p.m. every night exhausted and ready for the next day. Our Normandy expert, Rudy, was also excellent. Loved how he put faces and personal stories to the events of D-Day.

Same. Also the young Canadian at the museum at Juno was excellent.

Once again we moved in and out of the museum with great ease. Loved crossing the bridge.

Would have loved more time here. Jean was an excellent tour guide. Love hearing first-hand accounts of the events.

The weather was appropriate for a December battle. Henri was an excellent guide as he told us personal stories of Bastogne.

Patton is my favorite General. I was so happy to visit his grave.

We picked up Steve for this tour and once again he was excellent. He took us to places that would not have been on the ordinary tour. So much extra history of the place.

Here I would have liked more time. Maybe an extra day or half day for the Munich sights.

All were so knowledgeable about their subjects. Rudy made all the events so personable by telling us tales of individuals. Jeanne was so passionate about the liberation. Henri could give us first-hand accounts, and Steve was an encyclopedia when it came to Nazis.

I ate VERY well. The breakfasts at the hotels were beyond ample. The lunches were way more than I eat for lunch and extremely healthy. I marveled at the truck stops were we had lunch some days. I would love to see that kind of food in the US instead of McDonald's, Subway, and the like.

We had a new bus--terrific, lots of room, comfortable. Mr. D was terrific.

Everything was tops. I was very impressed with the running of the tour and how we were treated.

The tour was extremely well organized, well run, and fun. We had everything going for us--terrific tour manager, excellent local tour guides, nice hotels, great food, fabulous weather, and above all the group was terrific. Who wouldn't have had a good time.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Could have spent a bit less time at St. Mere Eglise - many folks were hanging around for the last half hour or so waiting for the bus.

Could have skipped Gold and Sword beaches for me.

Loved it!

Thought we spent too long there. Didn't need a "guided" tour. Would have preferred to look at things on my own.

I had been there before and thought our guide was way to wordy - he spent way to much time pontificating.

See comment for Dachau - too long.

Overall the tour was great! I love that everything was included. Have already recommended it based on itinerary, food and accomodations.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Unfortunately we were not able to work with a Procom travel consultant. All our booking was done by Frankenmuth Travel and was of poor quality. Rate one star for them. I would go directly to Procom in the future

Dutch docent was somewhat derogatory of American bombing of railroad stations and gave impression that it was totally unnecessary. He appeared to have a more arrogant presentation and demonstrated little appreciation for the liberation. The women tour guide who ended the program redeemed him.....she was passionate, personable, warm and grateful with compassion.

Excellent guide

High tech and beautiful choreography. Loved following the 4 different characters

Excellent guide. Passionate and extremely informative

German guide who's grandpa was SS was stuck on himself and somewhat abrasive. However, he was extremely informative, gave me opportunity to think about aspects I had never considered so I ended up appreciating his style

Very accomodating. Concerned for safety issues. Allowed flexibility. Invited commentary, but perhaps could have engaged the group more. She also never reiterated what other guides provided which was great. She also kept those guides moving based on the mood, physical abilities and needs of the group. She was gracious with a great command of English. I do think the bus could have been cleaned out in the evenings to start with fresh aisles, trash out of pockets etc. Maybe that is not her job to whip the bus driver into shape. Excellent humanitarian and emergency skills to take care of participant who broke both arms and work with his wife.

Absolutley would recommend and hope to book another. Thinking of the Italy tour. BUT would really love a Monuments Men tour of artwork stolen and recovered.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

I was very pleased with the work Cassie Walters and ProCom did in helping us to set up our tour. All of the information was thorough. And when my brother-in -law, and I had questions, Cassie provided the answers we needed. I thought her work was efficient and pleasant. What's not to like on this tour - from beginning to end? As far as the tour itself was concerned, we rode on a new Mercedes bus with a completent, pleasant driver, accompanied by an excellent tour guide in the person of Andrea Bago. It was a fairly fast-paced, and specific tour, so we enjoyed seeing a lot of the WWII territory the 101st Airborne and 82nd Airborne and other Allied soldiers covered when they fought their desperate battles. I thought Cassie Walters and the ProCom travel set-up information were managed very well.

Very well satisfied! We certainly had questions as we began to commit to a travel plan, and I found Cassie was quite thorough, pleasant, and prompt in answering my questions.

Rudy, the local guide in the Bayeux region, and some of the research our own guide, Andrea Bago provided, helped with my interest in learning about St. Lo, which was not part of this 101st Airborne tour. They answered my questions. I think it might be especially helpful in the future to cover a couple of extra points, which were crucial in leaving the bocage region after the D-Day beach-head had been secured. The battle for St. Lo was hard fought; hence General Bradley's COBRA plan to break out of the hedgerown country. To have a few notes added on this important plan, which followed the invasion, including the bombing run at Falaise and along the Periers roadway would help to emphasize the progress needed and achieved as the allies moved forward. Obviously all of the interesting details about WWII cannot be covered on one 11-daiy tour.

We had excellent accommodations.

Top notch. It was here in Groesbeek where the former school teacher guide impressed me with her sincerity in talking about the gradtitude and appreciation the Dutch still extend to the Americans and their allies in bringing liberation from the German occupation. A somber time for them. I sensed her sincerity. Very well done.

Top notch and quite moving. An excellent Belgian gentleman guided us here. He was well informed on the history of the place.

Excellent and quite moving. I met a young woman and her husband there. She was searching for her decorated father's name, who had been a member of the 101st Airborne. His family name was Dundon, I believe. We were all eager to see General Patton's grave site, and we did.

This tour was managed well, but I think it's especially challening to see and to hear about. I found it uncomfortable, yet the caretakers here have done as much as they seem to be able to to make it less morbid. It's an awful story to hear about. Our local guide here was certainly knowledgeable, and he covered a lot of the basic details. I interrupted him at one point during his talk in the camp to ask him why there was so much anti-semitism. This is a key part of Dachau. For many of the incarcerated, they had to work to support the war effort, but many of the "prisoners" were considered "undesirables," so many of these the aim was extermination. Anti-semitism should be discussed in some depth during this tour. Hatred of Jews has been around for centuries, but for what specific reasons did this hatred take hold in pre-World War II Germany?

I think we all enjoyed are brief sojourn in Munich.

It was good to see, and it was good to take the bus ride to the top. But we were not allowed to enter the former dwelling place. Those rooms were off limits. I expected to go inside, which wasn't possible at this time.

I thought Andrea Bago and Rudy performed in an excellent manner. I felt very well served. Especially good, too, were the local museum guides in Holland and Belgium.

Always good. Try the Wienerschnitzel in the Weisses Brauhaus in Munich! The European breakfast spreads are always a treat, wherever I've been. In Amsterdam once I saw a strong young man consume 5 boiled eggs, a fun sight to see. The food displays were managed very well at our hotels on this tour.

Andrea and Cassie performed their duties in excellent fashion. Give them a raise in pay.

I thought Peter did an excellent job of driving our large, new Mercedes tour bus. He was adept at driving. He was also pleasant, quiet, and helpful.

Excellent!

In light of the aftermath of World War II and the many sacrifices, I was somewhat surprised this tour by the strong, persistent, sense of gratitude the Europeans still feel for the Americans, British, Canadian, and allied forces that brought liberation to the occupied countries. That's one of my best memories. I don't have any particular recommendations. One sees this, too, in the care devoted to the many plaques and monuments near to where battles actually occurred. This tour was managed well.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

I anticipated the small rooms but not the dim lighting. The best was the hotel Rilano. Their food was outstanding and the rooms larger and better lighted.

The lady who was docent for my group gave a passionate speech about freedom at the end of the museum tour that lingers in my mind. When we reached Dachau I connected the dots!

I didn't know exactly what to expect there, i.e., in the Ardennes Forest. Of course the trees look much like those depicted in the HBO Band of Brothers video set but then we're told that these trees were replanted about 40 years ago. I'd like to see a photo of how the forest appeared prior to the replanting. How is it that they removed all the original trees without destroying the foxholes? I really didn't expect to see any remains of the foxholes after 70 years so there must have been some restoration on those too.

It was rather anticlimactic. There were nice views of the German Alps but I really expected to see more of the lavish facilities (for Hitler). I later learned that there was one room to see BUT YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT IT IF YOU DIDN'T GO INTO THE RESTAURANT.

The meals during the road days were Ok, everything else was good, especially the hotel Rilano food!

Andrea is an excellent tour manager. She was flexible when things didn't go on schedule, e.g., someone was late to the bus, and she attended to any special request. Andrea is a "keeper."

Peter is a very good driver and I always felt comfortable with his driving.

I wish the guides would quote statistics in American units, e.g., pounds and degrees Fahrenheit. I'm not familiar with metric measurements.

The tour was exactly as advertised, the step-on guides were excellent and our tour manager, Andrea, was outstanding. I also appreciate the up-front pricing, i.e., no surprise expenses and everything was covered with the tour price.

always a great and quick response

loved the tour book and loved the "MY Trip"

very happy with the hotel choices. I was concerned prior to the trip that the hotels would be lower end... But very happy with the results

Loved the tours of the tanks

This was by far the most impressive. we had perfect skies and was so glad this was the last stop on our tour. It was a fitting end.

Rudy was simply brilliant. He was an outstanding guide. He told stories and has a passion for the history. He was great.

Again... I was really surprised... the restaurants were all good. and the food was awesome.

WoW... Andrea was simply awesome. she kept everything going perfectly. even when issues came up she took care of them. and thru it all she was really nice and fun. she is OUTSTANDING.

Again... great staff and really nice bus. The Wi-Fi was a bit of a struggle as it was spotty. but nothing to really complain about

What a great experience from start to finish.

I think Procom far exceeded my expectations. I have never been on a Tour... and I was a bit concerned that I wouldn't like it due to the structure. But I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. thanks!!!

11-day Italian Campaign review

It would have been nice to have some details (summary or brief)that gave information about the places we would be stopping and touring. If the information could have been from the WWII historical point of what happened or took place that would have been helpful in documenting each site.

Because the group was small we could select our meal and also had the flexibilty to go to local restaurants. This was very nice. We had many choices and I thought the food was very good.

Nandor was an excellent host and guide. When we encountered the problem with the broken window he did everything he could to keep us on track all while dealing with the repair of the van. I felt in that situation he did an excellent job and never missed a beat regarding his duties to us and BOB. As a WWII historian he is very knowledgeable and he did a great job as our driver and host. He was always very positive, upbeat and most of all professional in his interaction with us.

This was my first tour and I can say I enjoyed everything. I know a lot of planning and preparation went into this tour and because of that everything went well. Each day was planned in such a way as you did not feel rushed or short changed because of trying to cover too much. I can only speak regarding Nandor as a guide and host since this was my first trip, but if your other guides are as good as Nandor then I can see why you have such good ratings. I would difinitely recommend your tours to others interested in touring WWII sites.

11-day Italian Campaign review

Hotel location in Rome was good. Breakfasts were always good.

The guides add a lot to the trip. The guy in Rome was incredible.....

The Mercedes was excellent. Nandor really handled the broken window fantastically as he didn't let it affect our trip at all. He went 'above and beyond' on this issue...he never showed how upset/frustrated he was...always kept his smile!

I leanred a lot about Hungary from Nandor...this was a bonus to my enjoyment of the trip. He was fantastic and I would love to tour with him again.

For a 'history' geek, this trip was fabulous. I was pleasantly surprised as to how much ancient history was included in the package....this was an unexpected bonus. I realize how difficult it is to find museums, statues, and rememberances of the war as Italy lost (unlike in France and Holland). Procom did a great job of finding interesting things for us to see.

8-day Battle of the Bulge review

More information about the celebrations in Bastogne - they were great, despite the bad weather, which could not have really been foreseen.

Malmedy was very sad to me, and I did not know about the Black soldiers that were murdered there as well (though not at the same time), and Charlie showed us the memorials to both groups. In Bastogne, despite the wind, snow and rain, I enjoyed the museum, meeting some of the "Greatest Generation" and talking to them - and the parade, which even the King and Queen of Belgium attended. The reenactments were difficult to see in the bad weather, and everyone had to stand in snow, wet and slush. The next time there is some sort of historical program, there should be seats or bleachers, especially for the "Old Guys." Luxembourg is lovely, with castles, old buildings, nice shopping district, nice restaurants and a really nice Christmas Market. (Bastogne has a fun one as well.)I really liked Luxembourg a great deal and would not mind going there again!

The Luxembourg breakfasts were my favorites - though I ate very little at them. The other meals were good as well, even though sometimes I didn't always have my favorite things. However, we always had good food, nothing just thrown at us and we did not have to stop and eat at McDonald's or Burger King for a tour meal. I want to emphasize that even for a meal where we did not have a full choice, and the selections were limited, my meals were always well-prepared and tasty.

Our bus driver, Stefan, was an excellent driver who was concerned about our safety. He also was always cheerful and helpful. He worked well with Charlie.

I thought that the tour was well-run, and even though there were only 12 people on the tour, there were a few difficult participants who would become quite annoying. I think that Charlie did a very good job in handling them. Even though this was a small group, it seemed to break into two groups, which a few of us found highly unusual for such a small group. On the last tour, this did not happen. I would recommend this tour, or the other tour that I took, to any person who is interested in this area of history, That would be the focus of the tour, and the common interest that would bind the members of the group, at least for a start. I felt that the tour was very thorough and, if possible, tried to accommodate someone's special interest along the way, if it was relevant to the big picture.

Extremely satisfied. Charlie and Stefan were a great team.

The Hilton operation in Luxembourg was first class. The Frankfurt hotel room was tired and old, food was ok not great. I would recommend a new Frankfurt location.

Would like to have seen more in the Malmedy - Stavelot - Stourmont area but I know time was limited. Overall good agenda.

The personal attention by the American cemetery director was fantastic as well.

Nice selection of restaurants.

we lucked out with the Mercedes sprinter. More personal.

As promised and more.

very organized - helped me to prepare and calmed my concerns

The detailed itinerary was a tremendous help to prepare and keep my family tuned to our locations

Each was nice and clean -- food was very good--check in and check out were very easy

Prior to the trip, I was like a kid on Christmas morning. The trip was even better than I had hoped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Selection, quality and quantity were great. It was all so well organized

I have never felt so comfortable on a bus trip. The speed control was a true gift, and each drivers professionalism was very obvious. We even applauded a few times with they way they made it. through tight spaces.. The walking is especially enjoyable to me

Professionalism personified. They were always on the lookout for stragglers and did a real nice job of explaining itineraries and time schedules. We always left on time and rest areas were timed perfectly.

I have already told numerous people about the tour, and provided them with our itinerary and web site links

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Leanne answered all of my initial questions. Appreciated being given room list of tour in advance to check out before I made a decision. I also appreciated contact throughout year to make sure I had the right flight, current passport, and if I had any additional questions. Welcome packet was perfect, and group email of fellow travelers was nice touch.

All questions about trip were answered and provided by the time I left.

All hotels were quiet, clean, and roomy (especially for Europe). Although a couple were chains, they each had their own unique style to them. All breakfast buffets were amazing with local breads, cheeses, along with traditional breakfast items.

Amazing. I feel like I had about six separate vacations within the tour. My favorite stops were the Normandy Landing Beaches, Battle of the Bulge, and the little towns liberated in France.

Local guides were very informative and offered personal stories that gave a unique perspective from citizens who survived Nazi occupation to the accounts of soldiers who fought in the various battles. The guides were approachable for additional questions as well.

Just the right amount of food. It was served promptly upon arrival, was warm and fresh. I liked how most meals were specific to the area we visited. We usually had our own section to sit.

Bus was roomy and met my expectations for group travel. The drivers did an amazing job traveling on the narrow European roads. I was impressed how they vacuumed the bus while we went on tours. We walked a lot, which was good to burn off all the food I ate. People were given the option to spend more time in other areas if they did not wish to walk on longer guided tours.

All questions answered at each step of the process. While on the tour Steve and Tom checked in with me to see how I liked the tour, room, etc, and if I had any questions. I especially appreciated the help Tom, Steve, and the bus drivers provided me in finding my lost camera, which fell out at a tour stop. They quickly helped me resolve the issue..very impressed and grateful.

This tour exceeded my expectations, and I was able to see all of the major battles related to the Band of Brothers European Theater in WWII. This was a trip of a lifetime, and I could see doing this tour again in the next several years since there is so much to see and take in. I would recommend this tour to anyone that has an interest in WWII history, especially the European Theater, and of course, The Band of Brothers. It provides a perfect overview of all the major battles and you see and experience so much.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

I was amazed at how nice the hotels and staff were.

The tour was non-stop. We weren't allowed to get bored. It was everything and more that I expected.

The guides were extremely knowledgeable and answered all questions and had pleasant attitudes toward even the most seemingly insignificant questions.

I never ate so much in my life! When the itinerary said we'd have lunch on the road when we were traveling, I assumed we'd pay extra, but no---it was included. The food in France was excellent. The only reason I gave Germany 4 stars is that there was a lot of meat and I don't each much meat.

The bus was extremely comfortable and the drivers stopped often. Some days, we walked a lot and I was concerned for some of the travelers, but they seemed to do fine.

I was so surprised and pleased with the professional service of Procom.

It was so unbelievable that Procom could offer so much for the price. I was very impressed with the quality of the hotels, food, and the large number of places we visited.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Very good choice on the hotels and the staff at each were very responsive

The local guides in Belgium and at the Luxembourg cemetery were outstanding. They alone were worth the trip. The other local guides were all excellent but these 2 were the best.

The meal we had the first night in France was the best of them all.

Very well planned out and the Procom guides were superb. The history was presented in such a way as to not be dry and text bookish. We saw a lot, learned a lot and had a lot of fun. With a group of 24 in our tour, this seemed to be a perfect size and was glad it was not larger. We traveled with a group that just seemed to enjoy each other. Made lots of memories and some new friends.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Felt like I was being advised by a good friend.

Received what I needed to know, when I needed to know it.

The hotel in Normandy was outstanding but Holland was number 1 favorite. Holland and Belgium I felt like a welcome guest. Belgium was my second favorite hotel. I would give it five star with exception of internet service. In Munich I felt like a bit unwelcome. My least favorite. It was clean and comfortable but meals and seating were chaotic and there was little to no internet solution unless we took the time to really research. Not a deal breaker but certainly my least favorite of the 4.

I want to do this entire tour again - was too much to absorb in 11 days. The only thing that could have made it better was another day or two to allow more free time in each location. Enjoyed the brief time after lunch at Gold(?) and more free time in Caen and Bastonge. Just was not enough time to sit at a cafe and enjoy being with the locals. Loved guides in Belgium (Henri) and Germany (Steve). Guide in France (Geoffrey/Jeffrey) was charming and knowledgeable but very difficult to follow his train of thought. Seemed to forget what he was talking about a lot.

See comments in previous sections. Our Procom tour directors/guides were outstanding and we very much enjoyed the on the road commentary as well as the times where they each guided.

Was fantastic to have so many different locations, types of restaurants. Even the Autobahn was fun - clearly the food less "special" but was good and a new experience. Loved meals/restaurats in Munich and Eagle's Nest. Did not care for food and more specifically service at the hotel. Loved Belgium both hotel and lunch in town. Normandy hotel was fine - nothing wrong but meals away from hotel were outstanding for both food and location.

Our bus drivers were the absolute best. I will always consider Janos and Louis as treasured traveling companions. They were professional always and when appropriate friendly. I left wishing I could speak Hungarian so I could personally tell them how much they were appreciated. I know the bus on our trip was a substitute from necessity. The screens could have been larger for enroute entertainment but that is minor. We were comfortable and safe. At Eagles Nest I knew I was safe with the venue drivers. Walking was fine. Some I could not do due to an injury but I was able to do more than I had thought I would be able to do.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Nikki, Leanne and Cassie were great to work with. The team answered all my questions and concerns. They made booking the trip easy and with no issues.

Very satisfied. It's probably SOP for the team, but I really liked the idea of Nikki sending out an "ice breaker" group introduction e-mail for the people taking the tour. Everyone seemed to know everyone when we finally met in person at Charles DeGaulle airport.

The Hotel Mercure Omaha and Best Western Hotel Melba accomodations were very nice. The room at the Hotel Golden Tulip Val Monte in Holland was okay. The staff at the Rilano Hotel München seemed a little overwhelmed on occassion. Especially the Food and Beverage staff while supporting the buffet.

All the sights and events met or exceeded my expectations.

Jeff in France and Steve in Germany were both very good. Anne in Holland and Henri in Belgium were the best. I could not help but feel the emotion of their life experiences during the Nazi occupation and actually invasion.

Meals were very good, if not great. Would like to see something besides chicken and pork though.

Personally I needed the exercise, Lol. But some of the older members of the group seem to struggle with the long walks and hikes. Thomas and Steve did everything possible to accomodate everyone's needs.

Great service and overall travel experience!

It was the trip of a life time for me. From the team in Kentucky to Thomas and Steve, it was the best group tour I have taken to date. You guys have set the "bar" really high for my expectations for other tours that I will take in the future.

11-day Italian Campaign review

Meals were all very good and Nandor was always checking to make sure we all had what we wanted and he would go out of his way to accommodate us. I really appreciated that because I personally wanted more variety in my meals, mainly more vegetables. If there was one thing I could change it would be to have more choice in what we had, especially for the evening meal where we would have more time. Understandably, time constraints would require that lunch would be limited to a set menu. I will say though that we did have the option of ordering what we wanted on a couple of occasions, and we were allowed as much alcohol beverage as we desired which was nice.

Ok, let me clarify that the female guide we had at the Abbey at Monte Cassino was awesome and I did not have a problem with her student videoing. However, I did not get one thing from our visit to the Museum in Cassino. The sound system was terrible and the museum guide was quiet dull and uninteresting to listen too. Time absolutely wasted. And again, don't waste valuable time driving down to see the Piana delle Orme Museum unless you have a lot of time. We were told we would be able to tour the museum despite them having had a fire the day before, instead we were met by rude people and due to their incompetence we were still unable to see the museum. Because of the time it took to go there, wait around for nothing and then return to Nettuno, we were left with only about an hour to spend at the Sicily-Rome American Cemetary. This was the biggest disappointment of the entire tour for me. I do have to acknowledge that Nandor made it possible for anyone who wanted to return to Nettuno the next day from Rome would be able to, but that left me with having to make the choice to give up also valuable free time in Rome. I choose to stay in Rome and this left me feeling like I did not get to experience the time I needed at the Cemetary to explore, pray for the dead and spend some quiet time there. It was however, a lovely experience having the veterans in our group get the opportunity to lower and fold the flags at closing. And...the Cemetery director was very gracious in allowing us to stay there a good 30 minutes past closing. So, let me just say that I believe most people would like to spend a good 2 to 3 hours there, easily.

For me, being able to talk with the Italian gentleman Christoph Ventura in Gelan and then again the Italian gentleman at San Pietro Infine was something you cannot put a price on nor rate because they were so special. Being able to spend time with these two wonderful men who lived through these experiences and see the pride and hear the passion in their voices will be with me forever and I really hope they and more like them will be around for future tours.

It was an amazing tour. I really had no expectations going in. Personally, I received more than I could have hoped for and I am very thankful and grateful to all of the people involved and all the people I met along this great journey. I would recommend this tour because of Nandor, Arpad, the guides, their knowledge and expertise and willingness to make this tour work out well for each and every one of us. Equally important, I recommend this tour because of the WWII journey you take when you travel this Italian Campaign.

11-day Italian Campaign review

Most of the hotels were nice. Spotty internet service, except at the Cassino hotel

All meals very good. If anything maybe too much. It may be a good idea to have either pasta and a salad for the noon meal. The breakfast at the hotels had many choices and the dinner meals were also very good

All of the guides were top notch. Our guides in Rome and the Vatican were very knowledgeable. It made me realize that my background in art and history were lacking

All of the sights were very good. In the future you may eliminate two museums- the one that had the fire (rude people) and the museum that had the guide speaking in English over the Italian taped message. The sound quality was not good and I did not hear anything.

For the most part we used the Bus/Van and our driver Arpad was excellent.

Very good

Yes. Since several of the people on this tour have made trips with you in the past that should be a good recommendation in itself.

Excellent best bus trip I have ever taken.

I was looking forward to the tour like this for years. Best tour I ever taken on a bus. Andrea was heads above other guides. I was surprised to see 2 bus drivers. After seeing what they had to do as far as driving time and turning in out of tight places (sometimes the only room was the paint on the bus.) it made sense.

Great hotels.

I really liked watching the HBO's Band of Brothers episodes, before we all arrived at the site.

Wonderful historians and witness, that were easy to understand.

It was at times too much food. I was not use to eating dinner that late. I had to use antacids every night before bed time.

Feet hurt at night. But it was worth it.

I have been telling EVERYBODY what a wonderful trip this was. I wish I has something like, business cards, I could hand out to people.

11-day Central Europe Remembrance review

The detail of the itinerary made us confident that this tour would provide what we were interested in.

Excellent balance of sites. Having time between the concentration camp visits was valuable.

Incredible fund of knowledge! The system of communication using the boxes/headphones made it possible to hear the guides even while wandering off to photograph sites and permitted some individual use of time.

Meals were very generous. More variety in the cities earlier in the tour would be beneficial. Would be nice to have 1 mid day meal in each of the cities on our own to permit some free time to wander or shop. Even a bag lunch could be provided to those that do not wish additional expense.

Excellent bus drivers able to maneuver in incredibly difficult traffic/construction! Comfortable.

Excellent! The staff (Nandor and Leanne) went way out of their way to accomodate some very difficult individuals on this tour. Their calm manner and professionalism in the face of rude/demanding participants was exceptional! Have already recommended this tour to others both on Facebook and by word of mouth at work. Plan to take another tour in the next 1-2 years!

I cannot complain really as I was coming off a back surgery and people bent over backwards to make sure I was taken care of and comfortable. It was much appreciated.

Very satisfied.

excellent and sent in a timely fashion

All info about the tour before and during the tour was well explained

The Poland hotel was the best due to its location. Actually nearly in the ghetto. All hotels had great service and were very clean.

I liked all the guides, each having a great knowledge of their subjects and a great ability to lead groups. I liked that the guides were both men and women.

The food was wonderful and way to much of it. I like that the meals were selected to reflect national favorites. What we had was good and reflected the food of the country (which I liked) there was a lot of food and all seemed good.

There was more walking than I thought there would be, I had inquired about the walking because in one review one participant mentioned the walking. I have to agree with that participant there was a lot of walking. A solution could be a mid point where people could stay go off by them selves, return to hotel etc. There were times that I did not proceed with the tour and that was fine.

Service was over and above what was expected. I thank Nandor for his kindless and endless patience during the tour.

I would recommend the tour to anyone wanting a well organized tour with great hotels and restaurants that reflect the country they are in. The sevice was great and the sites were will thought.

professional comprehensive contact throughout the whole process

excellent pertinent information even for experienced travelers

the hotels were all fine but I have a preference for being in city centers such as in Bastogne.

your choice of sites and the tradeoff between more time at a site or seeing more sites was perfect for me. I now have a sense of what I will enjoy going back to visit in greater depth. your selection of local guides greatly enhanced the experience especially those who lived during the war. Mont St Michel was a very pleasant surprise. Would recommend keeping in the schedule at the sacrifice of time visiting other sites.

the local guides were top notch. they were obviously engaged and added greatly to the visual and written experience.

food was good especially the breakfasts. however, I am a foodie with a love of exotic foods. overall the food was totally was fine and appropriate for a non-food oriented tour.

we were fortunate with a small group so the bus was spacious. also being of good health, walking is preferred and no issue.

you folks did a great job for a special focus tour.

my memories of the tour are excellent. I would recommend you as your tradeoff of germane sights and time was spot on for me.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Rudy was an outstanding guide in France. He was a good historian and great story teller. He truly made history come alive. It was wonderful meeting our witnesses. Seeing events through their eyes had an impact on me. Our German guide was my least favorite. He knew his facts, for me I had a hard time understanding him sometimes.

The meals were delicious, the presentation exceptional, portions were very large. Tasting the different wines was a plus for me.

Our bus drivers were certainly professionals, wending their way through the narrow streets in some of the towns. Great job

Definitely I would recommend this tour. Our tour leaders, Tom and Veronika made us feel welcome, I saw them checking in on folks each day. They wer both intuitive about the needs of us. They were both knowledgable about the tour. Thanks so much to them.

They were all very nice!

All were extremely knowledgeable.

Fantastic!!!!

The taxi ride was great too!

Very efficient and well organized.

The details and stories shared by the guides in the various countries were very interesting. I enjoyed Tom and Veronika's information about the various countries and sites also. Really enjoyed Veronika's song!!

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Niki was very helpful, not only in getting John and I organized for the trip, but recommending a hotel in Paris the night before that worked out very well.

We had everything we needed. It helped that I had traveled before in Europe.

The location in France was the best for exploring the town. All in all, hotels were very good as was their food.

Highlights for me were the cemetery in Luxembourg, Mont Saint Michel, Omaha Beach and Dacau Concentration Camp.

The guide in Luxembourg was outstanding. His overview of the war after Normandy was especially helpful in putting the whole context of the war together. All the guides were very knowledgeable and very good presenters. I enjoyed the way they selected war experiences of individuals to highlight.

I ate too much.

Outstanding. Tom and Veronika did a great job of leading the tour.

Very good. I can't imagine a better tour to cover the subject material.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

The process went very smoothly. I was well informed.

The information was great. i was well informed.

The rooms were smaller in the Holland hotel. They were a little harder for two people and their luggage to stay in. The German and French hotels were very nice. They were spacious and well appointed.

We were only in Luxembourg for a short time, but our guide was very knowledgable. The Labor camp was emotional, but the mountains in Germany were wonderful.

All the guides were great. It is tough to pick out the best.

The meals were well selected. I appreciate the assistance that the tour gave us on this.

I don't think some of the tour members realized how tough some of the climbing would be initially, but we soon learned. I had no problems with any of the locations and loved every minute of it.

This tour was worth every penny.

I would absolutely recommend the tour to others.

Verry good, answered all my questions

Great, the e-mails of the hotels and the stops were outstanding.

All the hotels were great. The rooms were clean and had all the amenities. The one in Germany had a terrific Restaurant.

Normandy was the best. No matter how much you read, you can't get a perspective unless you see the size of the operation.

The individual guides were outstanding. They were all knowledgeable, and well spoken. Rudy in France was terrific.

Everything was great, but Germany had the best breakfasts.

Comfortable even on the long days with frequent stops. The drivers were excellent.

The tour gave me all the history I wanted to get, and even a non history buff would be impressed.

Everything was awesome but it was pretty apparent that you were caught off guard with it being the 70th anniversary of d-day and how hectic it was. I would like to have spent much more time at Utah and Omaha beach. Being an American, obviously those areas hold a special meaning too me. If I was to go again I would want to go when the amount of tourists is at its' minimum.

The tour overall was a great experience. I would recommend the tour to anyone. It was great to have nothing to worry about but packing my suitcase, getting on a plane and getting there. Overall your company does a fantastic job and provides the service it advertises.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Niki was outstanding in every way.

Accomodations were first class all the way.

The Bastogne sights were very nice and the overview of the battle from the memorial viewing platform was helpful in understanding it. France was outstanding, especially the food and the museums. I would have liked to have had more discussion on the actual battles and on the terrain, rather than just visiting museums. Germany was absolutely gorgeous.

I really liked our French guide and our German guide. Both were excellent. Henri (Belgium) was terrific too.

I want to go back to France.

Bus was great

Terrific trip with excellent guides. Nandor and Tom were kind, efficient, pleasant to talk to, and very knowledgeable.

Tour was really good, although I personally expected more focus on the battles, the BofBrothers squad actions, and how it all fit into the landscape we saw. I loved the local guides and speaking with the local people. That made it very real and made me appreciate how much they sacrificed during the war too. Overall very well done.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Very professional and well organized.

Good communications.

It was good to have name tags issued when we got there and participants tended to wear them for the first few days, but we found it difficult to remember everyone's first names during the tour. If a list of fellow travellers was included in the kit...i.e. 'Bob and Patty, New York'...we could have chatted on a first name basis more often, having checked the info on the list provided. Last names aren't necessary, if privacy is a big concern. Then 'that nice couple from New York' can be greeted properly at breakfast!

The tour has an American skew, but our guides included enough Canadian sites and info to make us feel included.

Special mention to our Luxembourg guide. She was incredible, totally knowledgeable and involved in her presentation.

Gotta love that hill climb at Omaha!

Very good, thorough and knowledgeable.

It's an ideal tour for someone who wants to focus on the information, the location, and the 'feel' of the historic sites. It's nice to have a knowledgeable guide at hand while someone else does the driving and handles the necessary details of travelling in a different country, like food, hotels, etc.

Having been stayed at hotels in England I had lowered my expectations for European hotels. Not so on this trip. Every hotel was top quality. Not a bad one on the trip.

A day could be cut in France or Bastogne or Holland to add an extra day in Germany. The trip was great but the Germany stay was a little rushed. Would have liked more time at Dachau and Munich.

NOverall the meals were very good.

You should expand into other tours. Tour guides, hotels, and food were fantastic.

Cassie Walters was very informative and kind. She answered all of my questions quickly and if she didn't know the answer she asked the right people and got back to me promptly.

The hotels were amazing! The staff went above and beyond!

The guides were very knowledgable and friendly. They took the time to answer questions from the group. Rudy even made a point to talk to each group member. I thought that was a very nice touch.

The guide in Germany was probably my favorite. His walking tour of Munich was phenomenal. He has a vast understanding of Nazi Germany and he was able to be factual without any open bias.

I would definitely travel with this company again!

Procom is a great company. Everything as taken care of. The tour managers took time to talk with each passenger to make sure everything was ok on an individual level, and if there were any special needs they would accommodate whatever was needed. Andrea and Cassie had the patience of saints.

Everything about that was perfect

all the hotels were nice for the money. No complaints

I would have liked a few holes in the trip for self touring. I took a day off to play golf and really enjoyed it but I missed the day in Caen and really would have liked to see the Norman castle, but a sacrifice had to be made. A bit more free time would be nice, like two afternoons. It was a fully war tour. I really enjoyed Dinner in Munich and Bastone at local restaurants, and it was nice in Munich to be offered a bit of free time to visit the beer garden.

All were excellent

Overall, very successful and a good value for the money.

It was full on WWII, which is what we signed up for. I enjoyed watching movies during the bus rides and the sights were great, places I would never go but for this tour probably. I have had my fill of war now for awhile.

18-day Third Reich Combined review

All questions answered. Good pre-tour introductions and emails.

We had wifi problems in Belgium and Nuremberg. Otherwise, the hotels were comfortable.

The itinerary was well planned with all the historical sights well presented. The museums were first class with appropriate time allotted for each visit.

All the guides were excellent. Rudy in France, Scott in Luxembourg and Steve in Munich were without peer. The ability to hear witness accounts, such as Martin and Jeanne in Holland, added much to the trip.

I enjoyed eating at the local restaurants. In the Third Reich section of the tour we ordered a la carte often which allowed for entree salads and lighter fare. For those who felt they were given too much food they could always skip a course.

All our drivers were excellent, maneuvering the bus in tight spaces and rainy weather. The bus was comfortable and the movie entertainment really prepped us for our next stops. This is an active tour with lots of walking, uneven surfaces and stair climbing. Most of the major attractions have elevators and ramps but come prepared to be on your feet a lot each day.

This was a first class tour in every regard.

Our Band of Brothers and Third Reich combined tour exceeded all our expectations. It was seamlessly all inclusive, right down to our departure for the Berlin airport with the always competent and personable Andrea Bago placing us in a pre-paid taxi at 4:30 AM. We would never have experienced this degree of content in any other format. The local guides and witnesses added so much color and flavor that truly enriched our experience. It as a good blend of the formal museum and monument and more casual exploration with our guides. Andrea and Cassie shepherded us pleasantly and competently throughout the tour. I would certainly book for another tour without hesitation.

18-day Third Reich Combined review

Excellent choice of sights, use of time and access to information. Local guides excellent.

All of the local guides were excellent and made the trip extremely informative.

Meals were all very good. Particularly enjoyed breakfast every morning as there was always a high quality variety of items to choose from the buffet.

Outstanding service and tour that exceeded my expectations.

These tours fulfilled every advertised promise and more. First class all of the way. Felt very secure the entire time and do not feel we could have come close to experiencing all that we did without the benefits these tours had to offer. Andrea (and Cassie) could not have been more attentive and acommodative. Bus drivers were the best.

Everything we saw was outstanding. The museums offered wonderful exhibits and stories.

The guides were absolutely the best.. It was wonderful to hear their stories be it first hand knowledge or told as they heard or learned it.

The meals were adequate, some much better than others.

Marietta and Cassie were extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to be around which is a very important quality to have as a tour leader

Overall, I believe your tour is outstanding. As a person with a heavy interest in military history I was overjoyed with my experience. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in WWII. The all-inclusive element is a great reason to tour with Procom. The sites are perfect, the hotels are comfortable, and you can't beat the tour guides.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

As already discussed, a better understanding of what "laundry" means in Normandy. Also, a full listing of the Souvenier shops and their relative quality (like the one at Dead Man's Corner being the most complete with authentic and replica WWII items.

All the guides were really good. I know many of my fellow tourists complained about the guy in France. I didn't mind him at all. Maarten and Henri were witness to the horrific atrocities of WWII which made that experience humbling and most memorable. The guy in Germany was very knowledgable and very good as well. But the BEST "guide" was the guy at the American Cemetary in Luxemborg! He was incredible!

The meal (at the hotel) in Holland was by far the worst of the trip. Very bland and just not very tasty. France overall won this victory. The food at both hotels in Belgium and Germany were very good....in fact, the Chocolate Croissant with Belgian dark chocolate was INCREDIBLE!

I realize just how HARD it is to pull off a tour of this magnitude, trying to make everyone happy (which you can NEVER do)! But despite some of my suggestions for improvements, and my taking other tours, this one was the BEST!

I would recommend this tour because it traces the 101st Airborne Easy Company's footsteps starting in Normandy. They pick you up in Paris and transport you about 4 hours to the first hotel in Caen, northern Normandy. Caen serves as the launching point to all five D-Day beaches which differentiates this tour from others that don't take you to all the beaches. It starts in a small area called Dead Man's Corner which had THE BEST gift shop on the tour. I just wish I had really understood that at the time. Then off to Utah and Omaha beaches on successive days. The highlights are definitely the American Cemetary featured in Saving Private Ryan. It was humbling to say the least. An honor to be there! Another highlight was Pont du Hoc where the Rangers infamously climbed cliffs while being machine gunned. The size of the cliffs put that feat into perspective! The tour then takes you to Nijmegen in Holland, then onto Bastogne Belgium. Along the way you stop at the American Cemetary in Luxembourg to see General Patton' s grave. That is truly awesome to see that his grave is THE ONLY GRAVE GIVEN RANK PREFERENCE! No others are...but it's George S Patton! Finally a long trip to Munich where you drive to see tge infamous Dachau Concentration Camp. That was very humbling! Then you get to see Hitler's Eagles Next at the Austrian Border. All in all this was a phenomenal tour! Highly recommend you take this or any other tour offered by Procom.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Could not have been better.

Better than expected

I was overly impressed with the daily agenda and the tour guides. I couldn't have been happier with all of it. The tour guides were great. I wouldn't change a thing.

I enjoyed the meals but I don't see the need for a 3 or 4 course meal every night. I think given the option for a night of pizza for everyone would have been great. Simple and easy too. I really missed American food towards the middle of the trip.

Overall my expectations were exceeded and yes I would and already have recommended the tour to a few friends who also share my love of history. My only real recommendations were previously mentioned and they are to change the hotel in Holland and try to make sure there is more access to WIFI. It's a long tour and staying connected to either work or home is really important and some of the hotels had WIFI issues and it would have been incredible to have WIFi on the bus.

Loved the breakfasts and all the food served!

Went beyond my expectations! There was really an overload of information!!

Exceptional! Frank and Steve were unbelievable in the knowledge they have on the history! They really enhanced the trip tremendously!

We walked a lot but that is what you do on vacation! The bus was comfortable and loved the BOB episodes as we reached the places we were going to visit ! Enjoyed the movies as well and the rest stops were timed perfectly!! I try to stop as little as possible when I am driving, but meeting the needs of ALL passengers was very well done!!

This trip went beyond my expectations! I saw so much! Looking back at it, I can't believe all we did! I cannot complain about ONE thing!! It was very busy and packed with activity! I truly believe it was worth every penny! I would recommend you tour because I had an exceptional time, viewing history, listening to the guides tell the history, and just being there in the places where history happened! There truly is not one bad thing I could say about the trip! If I had to say one thing..you need to be able to walk or have a wheelchair if you can't!!!

In general, the tour was amazing -

The information provided by all of our tour guides was terrific - their depth of knowledge and ability to articulate to the group was fantastic - kudos to the guides you provided!

All transportation accommodations were good - the bus was clean and well maintained.

My entire family enjoyed the entire tour. We were able to do and see more places than I ever imagined we would. The information shared with us by the tour guides was beyond my expectations and the accommodations from bus to hotels and food was excellent. For all the above reasons, I would heartily recommend this tour to anyone interested in a WWII themed tour.

11-day Third Reich review

Absolutely excellent and personal, Nikki Montgomery in Kentucky.

Charlie seemed to know just what each one of us, individually needed to know. In talking with us, he learned our interests and tailored the free time to our specific interest. THe ProCom tours are among the few which are better than advertised. I don't know if you can advertise how expert the tour guides are at crafting the tour to individual tastes. I know you do mention that the guides really know their stuff, but the guides on each of my tours so far have been experts in areas I thought myself an expert in.

All were good.

The a la carte meals were really good. Food costs are a big item on any tour, but overall the food was pretty good. It is also impossible to please everybody, but the food was pretty good all the way through. Restaurant in Muenster comes to mind. And that sailing ship. Good choice of restaurants throughout. No complaints about the food.

Bus/van was very roomy and comfortable. Driver was EXCELLENT!!!!! I like the way the van met us wherever we were. The Berlin walking tour was a bit long and, I think, a real challenge for some of the older folks. Might want to break that up into a walk, a snack and talk by Charlie, then resume.

Superior and personalized. Very very caring guides on all my Procom tours. Their English is excellent. They KNOW Americans.

Great. I would recommend it to anybody. WW II enthusiasts in particular. There is enough to suffice in the Munich museum.

Niki was very helpful and provided excellent information.

The maps of the area could have been a bit more detailed so you could follow your route while on the bus, especially the long bus rides.

Tom and Andrea provided a lot of good information and the witness guides were an added bonus.

Buses were comfortable, but would have been nice to have a little more leg room, especially on the long trips.

Excellent, very accommodating and helpful. Good job to Niki and all.

The tour was well planned, the sites were great, food was excellent, the people all got along and the conversations were wonderful - not to mention the rich history we saw throughout Europe. The cost was reasonable.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

I wish we could have spent more time in Holland and seen a little more. What we saw there was excellent, which made me want more!

Geoffrey and Steve were great - very knowledgeable and friendly. Henri in Belgium was outstanding. I loved hearing his personal story.

The meals were outstanding! In fact, in some cases it was way too much food. I think some additional choices would make the dining experiences better. In most place, especially France, there were no choices at all. Breakfast was excellent in all locations. Lunch seemed a little excessive, especially in Germany. However, food quality and variety were excellent.

More leg room on the bus would make it far more comfortable. The drivers were outstanding - very helpful and courteous.

Every detail was carefully thought out and planned.

I thought the tour was outstanding. It met and exceeded all of my expectations. I loved how everything was planned and organized, allowing me to focus on the history instead of worrying how to get from one place to the next, or where to eat and sleep. Andrea and Tom attended to every need, even for the more demanding people in our group. The only thing I had to do was to enjoy the history and to learn as much as I could about each of the sites we visited.

Very enthusiastic and provided good information.

The dinner with the veterans was a fabulous event in a great setting.

The bus was good. We were comfortable with the amount of walking.

Procom was responsive to inquiries before the trip. Marietta was very helpful and provided support to all of us. Peter stepped up and gave us an opportunity to see Pegasus Bridge. We very much appreciated the special opportunity.

We enjoyed our tour very much. Highlights would definitely include the dinner with the vets. The bus drivers were great and safely moved us to our destinations (even with a couple of detours). Thank you all for your work. We feel it was one of our better trips.

I was a substitute addition for a relative who could not make the trip so the Lexington office had to make a special accommodation for me.

All relevant to the tour and key to the history.

The guides were all excellent and those that were witnesses provided excellent insight.

The bus was very comfortable with adequate rest stops. Movies were good to help pass the time on long drives. Amount of walking was reasonable for those of us in good health, a bit of a challenge for those with some mobility issues.

All staff, especially Camilla and Marietta, were EXCELLENT. The drivers were very courteous and did a great job maneuvering a large vehicle in some tight areas.

It was a true "Bucket List" trip for me and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in WWII history.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Extremely well organized. Marietta and Camille very well prepared with great knowledge and made every effort to facilitate operations. They were simply outstanding and friendly as well. The local guides were a real highlight of the experience. They are invaluable to the tour. I have recommended your tour to others and will continue to do so to anyone having a strong interest in WWII history. Many thanks to Marietta, Camille, the drivers and guides for a most memorable experience. J.T. Hane, Columbia, SC

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

excellent - very helpful- this was my 1st tour to Europe

At the very beginning of the tour, we needed a visual overview on the bus TV screen of a. our tour, b. the military flow of things as they happened.

very nice accommodations

I would like to have a "street" map of Munich,

It was really easy to travel, everything is taken care of. As a note, we needed name tags, also on the long days of bus rides some "fun" films and some snacks in addition to water. Overall - wonderful experience. I am definitely thinking about booking another tour for next year! very pleased

18-day Third Reich Combined review

I had NEVER traveled outside the U.S. before.

Due to my total lack of experience, Procom greatly assisted me.

I wish we could have spent more time at Omaha Beach, there was so much more to see.

Both guides were incredible. Extremely knowledgeable and carrying. They looked after me like "mother hens" Thank you.

I loved the Belgium and German beers! In my opinion, France does not know how to brew a beer!

I had no problems. I was advised in advance what the physical requirements would be for the tour. Loved it!

You took care of my every need. When I returned home after the 18 days of the tour, both my family and colleagues comments that I looked "younger" "relaxed" "happier"

It is NOT for everybody. My wife would want far more freedom and would not like the regimented schedule. I however loved being cared for. If you are NOT interested in World War II history. This vacation would NOT be for you.

Our guides were absolutely TOPS!!!!

Gourmet meals were NOT expected!! Every accommodation was made for dietary differences!! Generally good food in good amounts!

The vehicles were comfortable. We felt safe. The drivers were amazing!!!

The tour was well thought out and the guides were fantastic!! The knowledge and enthusiasm they brought to the tour was far more than anticipated. And yes, we would recommend this tour and this tour company...in fact, we have already. Recommended it to several friends!! We are also talking about scheduling your newest tour in Italy!!!

Nikki was extremely helpful and responsive. Very professional!

Very well thought out and fluid. Good transitions from country to country.

Our guide was Robert. He was outstanding with both knowledge, information and very interactive. Great listener to questions and responsive to individual inquiries.

Too much food served 3 times per day. Suggest lighter meals, perhaps lunch.

Suggest method for moving people around on bus. Everyone sat in same seat, thus negating interaction between front and back of bus. Also, would be nice to ride in different sections of busses.

Outstanding!

Extremely well organized and structured.

Professional and accurate bus drivers; always safety conscious. Would rate them the highest I've ever experienced!

One of the most memorable experiences I've ever had! The tour's attention to detail on the subject matter was outstanding! After reading the itinerary online, I thought I was prepared to see this living history. However the tour went way beyond my expectations. Touching and walking on history is way better than reading about it. So many emotional moments---thank you so much. These are the reasons I would recommend this tour to others. In fact, I have already recommended it to five people!

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Very satisfied. All iquiries were answered promptly.

I would have enjoyed knowing the specifics a bit sooner, but realize that may have been difficult with all of the extra planning involved during the actual anniversary.

I enjoyed all of the hotels and the hot weather was not in your control! The space in our room for 3, and the food, was particularly good in Germany.

Every day was so special and different. It is difficult to rate one against the other. This trip was so packed, I just couldn't believe how much we were seeing and learning.

We were highly impressed by all of the Procom staff. Veronika and Andrea were so professional and yet friendly and approachable. The bus drivers were excellent-I felt perfectly safe, even when they were backing down narrow lanes and turning around in tight quarters. We were very impressed with the depth of knowledge our guides displayed and commend you on your high standards for your staffers.

This tour was amazing. There is just no way we could have navigated ourselves throughout this trip. We had no worries, as our guides seemed to magicallly handle all of the many schedule changes that were thrown at them during this busy week. We were amazed that we got in to see all that we did due to the crowds and the restrictions. We have already recommended this trip to others, and will continue to do so. Thank you for providing this service which allowed us to honor and further understand the sacrifice of our fathers' generation.

I can not see how they could have been better. Excellent!

Maybe some suggestions on reading material or movies to watch ahead of time.

they were all excellent. I would suggest dropping off the Holland part because of the long drive and limited sightseeing. Then spend more time in Normandy,

The trip was excellent, but Charlie put it over the top. His personality, generosity, calmness, caring, knowledge and humor was what made this the best trip I have ever taken.

Of course I would recommend this to others and with Procom. the agenda covered all basis and I felt that I got to see all I was interest in and more. THIS WAS INCREDIBELY GREAT!

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Out standing initial data provided and excellent follow-up info.

Professional services!

Considering the size of the tour group and diversity of backgrounds, I believe all of the facilities and services were outstanding. Food was very acceptable. Rooms were in excellent condition.

Due to personal familiarity I believe a "drive through" the town of Berchtesgaden in Germany might have provided and good idea of why Hitler adopted the town.

ALL of the guides were professional.

All meals were tasty, plentiful.

The entire tour reflected the "professionalism" of the planning, management, and conduct of the tour. The familiarity and detailed presentations of the history and related surrounding events by the guides, in particular Charley, made the entire tour most interesting. I have visited all of the sights previously but never truly knew the detailed Army units and history that were addressed by the tour guides. This was an "excellent" tour from my perspective both as a tourist and WW II veteran, albeit non-combat. I would recommend this tour for a genuine education of the history and events that took place during WW II. This was by far a truly detailed history of events and places of WW II. My observations would have to recognize that Charlie was an outstanding guide and was recognized as such by the entire tour group. Concurrently the tour group itself was an outstanding assembly of individuals interested in the history of WW II.

Perhaps more details about hotels? But all hotels were nice and top quality. No complaints.

Belgium, Holland/Luxembourg sites (and hotels) seemed to be of lesser focus, and spent less time at sites in Holland. But, did appreciate all stops and sights (esp. museums, and historical sites). REALLY appreciated knowledge and experience of guides

Did not experience guide on last day (sick - went to Dr. instead) Sorry. Guide for Berchtesgaden was terrific! (Thanks Charlie)

Hard to feed 32+ people... but all food was delicious and high quality.

I have never liked riding in a bus, but this tour made it tolerable and reasonably acceptable... Comfortable, good AC... perhaps more/better TV's for movies (?). Perhaps AC outlets or USB charger stations?

Really enjoyed the tour

Appreciated level/amount of history. Would be nice to include perhaps more local information and history (esp. cultural/medieval history in France and Germany) - but that might be another tour!

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Charlie did a great job in reacting to the small surprises that he encountered in Normandy due to unexpected road closures. He is a classic example of grace under pressure. He and Tom solved the problems quietly and told us about the slight change in plans after they had solved the problem. I was so impressed with all of the museums. A few of us had asked if we could add a stop at the Pegasus Bridge site and he accommodated us. We just wanted to see the bridge and the markers but he and Tom arranged for us to see the fantastic museum as well. Terrific!

The best food was in Normandy and Germany, but all was great. I especially liked the Turkish restaurant.

The bus was comfortable.

Overall the tour was a trip of a lifetime. The evening banquet with the veterans was a real honor and special treat. Charlie was outstanding. Knowledgeable, personable and with a perfectly appropriate sense of humor. We could stump him on any historical facts. He was so well prepared. Our group was very interested and eager...frankly we could not get enough history and Charlie knocked himself out trying to keep us challenged. WOW is all I can say. My only recommendation would be to allow some time for more introductions, and as cumbersome as name tags can be, they would have been useful...at my age I have trouble learning names.

I would absolutely recommend this Procom Tour to anyone that is as passionate about history as we are. Bravo!

Very helpful with all questions. Setting up flights, general questions about what tour will entail etc

Very satisfied. Always stayed connected with e mail and if unclear we called or e mail for more information

More overwhelming then we expected. It was just imaginable to see these sites I read and studied about

In Dachau he was great. Answered any questions we had, and gave a tremendous amount of information. The part of the walking tour we took in Munich was also well informed

Very good at the hotels. The restaurants and venues we went to for Vets dinner, and other meals other than local restaurants were outstanding

Outstanding. Can't say enough about the staff and guides. Always approachable and always willing to deal with a problem or question

Yes highly recommended. I'm telling everyone I know about leaving out no detail. It was so much to cover and it was all covered. A well rounded informative tour

Every single moment was so interesting. Our group on our bus was so compatible and I have made some great friends. I am also so appreciative of being able to visit my Mother's cousin's cemetery in the Ardennes. You promised you would 'make it happen' and you all did just that! 11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Very satisfied and I was able to get some background information of my own before the trip. This helped considerably in understanding the different stops we made.

It was very good. With the tour I was on to celebrate the 70 th. Anniversary the area in France was very crowded. I don't think anyone thought it would be as hectic as it was. The guides did a good job getting us to see other things when we were unable to see what we wanted. The drivers did a great job as many times the roads we were on were shut down to traffic though we had a pass.

We had two, a German in the Concentration Camp and an Irishman in the city tour. Both were great and answered any questions the group had.

Meals were very good. I was able to sample some fare not readily available to me.

There was a lot of walking but plenty of time to rest as well.

I thought considering the amount of activity being the 70 th. Anniversary tour and everything being more crowded than the norm, that Procom delivered. It could have easily been a disaster, but the guides did a great job. Charles and Tom.

Yes, I would and may take another in a few years.

Marietta played a HUGE part in making all tours very enjoyable. Her briefings prior to arrival to any site and clarifications after those visits, were amazing. I was very impressed with her professionalism and the way she handled our group, I would love to have her in a future tour, "very clever young lady".

To bad we didn't have enough time to learn more ..

Transportation in general was good, both drivers were very nice and professional. The public bus to the eagle's nest was good and the walking was perfect!

Compared to other Tours I took in the past, this was my favorite one, perhaps due to the significance of the 70th Anniversary of D-Day and that everyone in this group was in the same page. Having a chance to talk to veterans about their experiences was priceless. ...

I consider myself to be knowledgable about WW2 and so I found the sights and events to be pretty much as I had expected. Not disappointed at all.

Guides were really excellent. They obviously have done extensive research and were well prepared. In particular, I liked 'Rudy's ' presentation in Normandy. I also liked the individual one way commo system; no need to stay at the speakers elbow all the time. The commo setup really a lifesaver for someone like me, hearing impaired.

Dinner in Munich Hofbrau really great.

Generally, I was very pleased with the tour. I think that Nandor was very attentive to everyone's needs and made every effort to please.

I look forward to the Italian

I'm assuming this means non hotel meals. The hotel meals were generally very good. Best meal was lunch at B & B / horse farm in Normandy. There wasn't a worst meal.

All were very appropriate for our tour. American breakfasts were especially appreciated.

This was the most moving experience of my entire 78 years. The action museum at Ste. Mere Eglise was absolutely stunning. Walking among the foxholes overlooking Foy, outside Bastogne, moved my very soul. as did walking among the graves at the American cemetery above Omaha Beach.

their knowledge and ability to present the stories of their venues was unparalleled.

It was truely extraordinary!

I wish I could take it again! Being in, and experiencing the sites that together are so important to all the Western world, shook my very soul. Something that would have certainly have helped me understand the venues better would have been maps handed out each day showing the routes to be taken and with very brief notes pointing out the historical events that made the individual venues significant. A really good reference that I had, but didn't realize how useful it might be is "U.S. Army Atlas of the European Theater in World War II". It's available from Barnes & Noble for $12.98 US. I wish I had brought it with me even it weighs almost 2.5 kg.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Normandy Hotel on golf course, views, etc. was an excellent starting highlight.

I have been on a lot of tours over the years and every local guide on this tour made up the best group of guides that I have EVER experienced. Wonderful historians and very enthusiastic about what they do.

I would single out the Omaha Beach Cemetery guide, the Luxembourg Cemetery guide, the Dachau guide and the Munich/Berchtesgaden guide.

Overall, the food was good especially for a large tour group.

Great bus drivers.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

When our flight to return home the next morning was cancelled at the last moment the front desk clerk, LISA, took time from her already busy work day to get us rebooked...an extra duty she certainly did not have to do! We would have not had a clue how to do this w/o internet access on our own. I wrote a letter of appreciation to the manager/owner of the hotel.

All events relating to the route of Easy Company through their travels in 1944-1945 were phenomenal. Exactly what we were looking for!

Way more than ample! I came home and had to let my belt out two notches!

Everything it was purported to be! If anyone is evaluating this tour my professional opinion is: DO IT!!! Dr Housley

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

They couldn't have been better. Met all our needs and concerns.

Very nice to have the news letters, some had information about what we were going to be exposed too and some more interesting for possible future tours

They were all comfortable with easy access and helpful staffs.

We did run out of time and missed a museum in Normandy but all-in-all I enjoyed it more than expected.

We initally had chicken for our first few meals. Mixing it up a little would have been nice. Over all, I thought the food was very good and it was enjoyable going to the Beer Hall in Munich.

Bus drivers were very professional and super drivers. I enjoyed the bus, it was comfortable and the videos of WWII events was great.

They were great.

I initially thought I would get overdosed with all the information and sights of WWII for eleven days. I was wrong, the more we saw the more I looked forward to the next area scheduled to see and visit. I couldn't have been more pleased from top to bottom. After returning home my thoughts of the tour, our group and guides became more enriched as I digested the trip.

I was completely satisfied.

Excellent

Overall detailed trip map like the maps in the folder you handed out.

Berlin hotel was a little strange, a little dose of E. Berlin.

The two guides in Munich and Berlin were off the scale great, highlight of trip for me.

They were great, the kind of insight that made it very personal.

I would like to eat a little earlier, 5:30 or so but no big deal.

Very nice

Added a very nice sense of humor.

11-day Central Europe Remembrance review

Every question and concern was quickly answered or addressed.

The brochure provides great information and portraits the quality of tour you get to participate in.

The tour guide in Munich, Mike, clearly had a vast knowledge and took us to many places off the beaten track and provided information not known to the general public. Due to the holiday we were unable to visit the Salt mines it might have been a better day to travel.

At every location we had fabulous tour guides and visited a number of locations. All the guide could communicate clearly in English and were able to provide information specific to our questions.

We ate like King and Queens! The meals were always of a high quality and we had many choices to choose from. We were able to have local dishes or a more standard dish if we choose. The beer and wine was provided at each meal and thoroughly enjoyed.

We have travel to Europe before on a tour and by ourselves, and this was our best experience. We never felt rushed or that we were missing anything. Our every need was anticipated and met. Our guide, Nador, was knowledgeable and good company over the ten days. He went out of his way to ensure we had a great time and saw as much of the historical content we could.

Our experience exceeded our expectations! We have passed our the brochure and website to several friends already!

11-day Third Reich review

Highlight was Nuremberg

Your auxiliary guides were excellent.

Quality and quantity were excellent. My complaint is that the noon meals were too slow and long and stole from our tour time. I certainly understand Beyond of Brothers preference for having group meals and set menus. In the US us Americans could be turned loose to find our own quick lunch meals. In Europe with the language barrier, lack of tourist knowledge, and culture of European food service. An "on your own" meal for Americans in Europe would be a disaster. However, I could easily opt for a smaller noon meal thus making the service faster and sparing some of the cost to Band of Brothers (I always felt guilty that I was served enough for two people and a smaller meal would have not cost Peter so much.

Very fine. Close delivery and pick up in such crowded sites was remarkable

Excellent tour guides. Great amount of information was taught. Sights were appropriate to the subject. Certainly accommodations and food were top class. The arrangements and contact with your Kentucky office was absolutely superb. Best pre-arrangement and information provision I have witnessed in my experience with recreational and/or history tours.

Everything was wonderfully organized. I don't feel like I missed out on anything (outside of the closures imposed by the US government). I liked the fact that we got the chance to see some sights not directly related to the war like in Bayeux and Caen. I also appreciate that the tour company brought in an outside tour guide while we were in Germany. I was really impressed with his breadth of knowledge.

It was everything that I had hoped for when I starting researching tours like this. I was impressed with how well organized everything was, and the staff really went the extra mile.

For the Normany part.It would have been helpful to have had mote detail about the landings. For example the swimming tanks and what happened to them. For the Bulge it would have been hepful to learn of Hitlers Objective and how he planned to refuel his Tanks and resupply his troops.

THe gentleman in Basogne was absolutely wonderful. The guides at Dachau and Munich were "top drawer"

Loved the Beer Hall in Munich

I enjoyed seeing the Band of Brothers again.I did not like the movie with Clint Eastwood and Telly Savalas-Frankly I found it offensive considering what the vast majority of the soldiers had to deal with.Sure there crooks after treasures but for me that took away from the vast majority of the army the tremendous hardships they were under.A better movie would have been the Longest Day.

I would unreservedly recommend this tour.

The guides were just outstanding. They were so knowledgable and friendly. They added a lot to the historical experience.

The tour was so well organized. This is what impressed me most. Times to and from the sites and visiting times were very well planned. Tour guides were very informative and happy to answer our questions. Transportation was very comfortable and the guides strived to meet everyone's needs as best they could. The number of historical sites we saw was very impressive. I don't think we could have found them ourselves if we had been making the trip on our own. I'm already recommending the tour to my friends.

Besides seeing a lot of typical sights and events seeing the "off the beaten path" sights was a big plus.

All of the guides were well informed and knowledgeable. I did not find any errors in fact that I am aware of.

I liked all the food. Maybe the reason is that the days were long and everyone was hungry.

I recommend the tour because it provides lots of accurate information. I would recommend the tour because it reinforces the knowledge most people are aware and also provides a substantial amount of new information.

Enjoyed hearing the people who witness the war when they were children - so interesting since I had not read the books others had on such events.

Always plenty of food - even the travel lunches were good. We enjoyed breakfast at all hotels getting our day started.

The bus was very comfortable and good drivers.

The tour was very organized - we never wasted time. The tour guides were very knowledgeable about each area we visited - they answered questions - they visited with us at meals and we got to know each other. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in history travel and will travel with them again.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

I think Procom did a great job with regard to providing itineraries, contact information, info on other members of the tour. etc.

Overall, I thought all four of the hotels were very nice, clean, decent sized, and breakfasts, other food was very good.

Overall, I think that the sights that we saw were very comprehensive. My Father and I had talked about planning and doing a trip like this by ourselves, but I don't think that we could have ever come close to seeing all of the sights that we saw on the tour if we had tried to do it on our own. I think it was a great tour.

I think that all of the guides did a great job. I have a fairly good background in WWII, but I learned a great deal from this trip.

In my opinion, all of the meals were excellent. I gained ten pounds over the course of the trip, even with all of the walking that we did. So, I would definitely say the meals were very good.

Seeing as our group only consisted of five people, plus Nandor, our primary mode of transportation was the Mercedes mini-van. I thought it worked out well. It was comfortable and we were able to get close to sights that a big bus would've had difficulty getting to. We did take public transportation once (Echin to downtown Munich) for Oktoberfest, and that worked out really well. Overall, the transportation was great.

For me it was really "a trip of a lifetime". I would definitely recommend Procom's tour to others, and would definitely consider taking another Procom tour in the future (maybe the 3rd Reich tour).

I liked them all as they were all very clean and accommodating. Food was terrific, especially Breakfast.

All outstanding! Nandor went out of his way to show us more than I expected in each area/city. Attending the Oktoberfest was a real highlight for me although we experienced much moere than I had expected...EXCELLENT!

All guides were very knowledgeable, patient and thorough as they answered questions.

Terrific! The food was great everywhere...good quality and more than ample!

Since our group was small (5 persons) we toured in a Mercedes Van which was very spacious. Nandor did an excellent job as driver/tour director...and keeping us on schedule...Well done Nandor!

I was very satisfied with the tour! The tour content was just what my son and I wanted and the depth of our xpoure at each historic site was exceptional. Although I was a US soldier in Germany in 1956-57-58, I learned a great deal on this tour and Nandor was a great guide/driver/host. I loved the whole tour/trip!

Every stop was informative and appropriate. Some stops like the cemetery's in Normandy and Luxembourg, and Dachau in Munich were unforgettable.

All were top notch. All questions were answered. Jean (Holland), Henri(Bastogne)and Steve(Munich)added a wonderful dimension to the tour.

Food and drink was five stars

Comfortable. Steven was an excellent driver

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Warn tourists: Octoberfest is a noisy, crowded, druken nighmare in a permanent amusement park that lasts for hours. Stay away if you dislike crowds, remain in hotel and read a book on WW2.

Marietta was excellent, full of information and good cheer. Driver Steven did a fine job as well.

Fine fare for hotels, we don't expect more.

Excellent introduction to WW2, very educational and well managed by helpful guide.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

To Peter (Owner) and Nandor (Tour Guide/Travel Consultant): Thanks for putting together such a wonderful and informative WW II tour. As a retired military member (USAF E-9), I highly recommend this tour to all those interested in how our military, and our allies fought in WW II. In fact, the trip would also be interesting to all the spouses and relatives of those taking the 11-day Beyond Band of Brothers tour. The transportation, tours, food and hotels were first class, as were the guides and witnesses to historic events surrounding the Normandy invasion and the subsequent march into Germany by allied forces. Don't miss this wonderful tour. Looking forward to another Beyond Band of Brothers tour in 2014. Walter Carey, Beavercreek, Ohio.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Accomodations were excellent! I think the Europeans need to discover the shower curtain however! :-)

I was extremely pleased with the selection of historic locations, our two guides Andrea and Marietta, the WW II witnesses and the overall itinerary. It was literally Band of Brothers information and BEYOND!

Andrea and Marietta did an excellent job! They rose to the occasion whenever a minor "glitch" appeared, and they made sure that each and every one of us on the tour was being treated well. They know their stuff on WWII!

We all joked about "too much chicken, we are going to start clucking," but it was all in good humor. I thoroughly enjoyed every meal and loved the complimentary "drink" with each meal. Sampled many a foreign beer! Portions were just enough and I actually lost a few pounds due to exercise and healthy meals!

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour as well as the opportunity it gave me to spend three days in Paris before the tour! My first trip to Europe! It was a great time and a great tour. Thoroughly satisfied all of my WWII questions and emotions surrounding the events of that era. I have and will continue to recommend this tour to my fellow history buffs!

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Perhaps the weather report for areas we were going to visit. I asked and was referred to a website but much easier for 1 person to go in and then send out to the whole group.

Very nice hotels

It would have been nice if the weather would have cooperated at the Eagle's Nest (fog) but beyond your control. Our Tour Guide in Germany was full of knowledge and great except he walked so fast in Munich that a few of us were often 1-2 blocks behind and missed the first half of everything he said. With a tour average age about 60 years old he needs to slow down...

It would have been nice to have an actual "survivor" in Holland

29 meals in 4 countries and not a single bad one. Good portions and choices and quite a variety of beer/wine choices. I would have liked dessert at the museum in Holland since it was soup and sandwich.

Excellent job. I have already recommended Procom to several people and am thinking about taking the Italian tour as early as next year.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

All hotels met my needs. It's a little different traveling in Europe, so being a little flexible and open-minded made for an easy transition from hotel to hotel. Free wifi :)

ZERO complaints.

All guides only added to an already amazing experience. Andrea and Marietta, were always in great spirits, professional, and smiling. I felt very lucky to have such wonderful leaders -- they facilitated a cohesive, exciting experience for the group. They handled minor schedule changes with poise and grace. They were also always willing to help and attentive to the personal & dietary needs of many.

Food was the biggest surprise for me -- it was SO good! I knew what expect on a history/hotel level, but didn't hear much about the food from Procom. I'm sure the menus are always changing, and being able to publish literature on it would be difficult. But I would exploit and advertise this area more, Procom! I couldn't have been happier with the mom and pop local cuisines. Perfect.

Great bus, great drivers. Took many a nap on that bus :)

I feel very lucky to have had so many amazing experiences with so many amazing people -- procom staff included. Thank you for the best vacation of my life.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

I guess this includes both Andrea and Marietta and the local guides (France dressed paratrooper, Holland and Belgium witnesses, Munich walking guide)? All were wonderful and all easily earn the full five stars. As to Andrea and Marietta specifically, they were charming, intelligent, professional and added immeasurably to our trip experience.

I think you should stress the meal quality more in your advertising. It far exceeded expectations. And being allowed a drink at each meal, even beer or wine, without extra charge was a real customer benefit.

The bus drivers were skilled and could really operate in tight spaces. Bus comfortable - highways have smoother paved surfaces than much of USA. Nice to have water, soda, and diet soda for the bus, I've taken more expensive tours that don't offer the sodas on the bus. We had no public transport, walking portions of tour were not difficult at all.

The logistics of the tour we had are extensive for a tour company - to deliver an informative, comfortable, intellectually rewarding 11 days as you did without even a minor blow-up or inconvenience to the customers - very commendable. Thank you. I would recommend Procom wholeheartedly for all the reasons I have already listed in this questionnaire.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Overall the hotels were all nice and the beds comfortable. Our room in France was very small but we spent little time there so it didn't matter. I liked the fact it was a short walk into town from our hotels. The area of our hotel in France was lovely.

Marietta and Nandor were great tour guides and patiently answered our many questions on everything from what was for dinner to who fought where. The witnesses were all very interesting to listen to. Their love for and appreciation of what Americans did to liberate them from the Nazi's was touching. And our British historian was an encyclopedia of knowledge on the Nazi's.

I can't think of one bad meal I had the whole time we were there. I even enjoyed the packed lunches we ate on the bus.

The bus was comfortable and there was plenty of room for our group of 28 to spread out. My only criticism is that it would get too warm on the back of the bus sometimes. The bus drivers were excellent and professional.

The 11-day Beyond Band of Brothers tour was everything I hoped it would be and more. My husband and I had a wonderful time. We both love history and this tour was a dream come true. We were with a great group and met some really wonderful people from all over the country. I would definitely recommend this tour.

The guides vwere a great bonus!

I found the meals in France were great but the portions were small. That's ok since I would have gained weight. I was usually hunger since I ran 5-12 miles each morning before breakfast. Overall all great food.

The tour was well done and I would recommend it to anyone since we seen lots of sights and great hotels and food.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

I wish we could have had more information about the geography as we travelled. For examples, rivers and bridges are an important part of the story yet as we would make corssings nothing was said. It would have also been good to know about earlier battles, perhaps from WWI, thta were fought in areas.

I thought the on-site tour guides were excellent.

Overall they were good, especially for group travel. The first two meals were chicken and potatoes, so I think that worried people, but there turned out to be a good variety. The breakfasts were generally good.

I thought it was an impressive effort. The only major problem was arrival day in Paris when the flight of some travellers was late, but that was not the tour's fault. Yes, I would recommend.

Hotels fully met expectations for European hotels. Friendly staff-exceeded expectations. Someone should tell them of the benefit of shower curtains vs the clunky door arrangements which always leak!

Exceeded expectations. Would like more time in Berlin

The local guides are on top of my list of most valuable portion of the trip. The tour leaders set the stage for the local guides.

Hotel and local economy meals were very good. Only "skimpy" meal was at private (nonprofit) museum BUT advance word was provided. The museum was well worth the stop.

Having owned a car in Europe for several years, the tour covered more ground with less hassle than I could have done. It was wonderful!

The tour certainly met my expectations-and then some. I have already recommended to WW11 (amateur) historians.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

All the Hotels were comfortable and very nicely decorated and close to where we needed to be so we did not have to drive a long way to get to our start point of the day.

Information on all the sites was wonderful both by our tour guides and the step on guides in Holland, Belgium and Germany

Marietta and Nandor were very knowledgeable with the Normandy experience and always answered all of our questions without hesitation. We found the other guides to be both intimately aware with their locations and other areas covered at their locations.

Although there was some grumbling about the chicken we had during the first couple of days in Normandy Marrietta and Nandor addressed the situation and took care the matter in a most expedient manner the rest of the trip.

Our bus drives were the most talented and cautious drives I have ever ridden with. The took the Bus places where you think it would not fit but they accomplished this in a timely manner. In other words they were great 5 Star drivers

As I have stated earlier all the guides were great the Hotels were great but what made this trip were the on Bus tour managers, Marietta and Nador they made this whole trip come alive even on the long bus rides. They tried to keep us informed where we were at and what was next and what to expect

Other than the manic taxi ride from the airport it was good. Appreciate not having a packed bus. Walking was at times a taxing but you gave folks options of not participating if they didn't want to. Just need to make sure what clients can expect if they commit to a tour of some site.

The tour was good and saw things they I thought I would never see. Charlie was great and his self deprecating humor was enjoyed. You guys know this but maybe the extra day in Hamburg could be cut out so that it allows more time in Berlin to see more sites. Think that the important sites could be combined in one day in Hamburg and maybe cut out the SS Castle visit.

All sights and places we visited were great. Eagle's Nest was disappointing, but that was because we got weathered in and couldn't see anything.

Thought our full time guides were good, and the special guides we had were also good.

Most of the meals were very good. A couple of lunches was not the best, but overall, the meals were excellent, especially the breakfasts.

Bus was fine. Walking was tough at times, but that was beyond the control of Band of Brothers.

It was as good or better than I had expected--saw all that I wanted to see.

Without exception they were all wonderful.

Everything was outstanding, I only wish we could have had more time to visit additional sites in Normandy like Le Friere and Brecourt Manor. Also could have used a little more time at the museum in Luxembourg.

Meals (with the exception of the bag lunches) were outstading, particularly in Germany.

Bus and drivers were great. Also enjoyed the 120 MPH cab ride to the airport in Munich!

This is the third organized tour I've taken of Normandy and getting to include the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany made it all the more special. I would most strongly recommend this tour to anyone!

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Nandor and Andrea were OUTSTANDING - knowledgeable, understandable, explained things easily for those of us not history buffs, fun and pleasant. So gracious, even when we could have been taxing on their patience. Truly gifted as guides!

Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts, and the last night's dinner in Munich.

The two drivers were terrific! We had a lot of fun joking around with them. Their skill in driving and backing into narrow places was off-the-charts SIX STARS! A few times I remained on the bus and they would turn the AC on at my request so I could cool off. VERY THOUGHTFUL!

You deliver on your promise. Outstanding! It was also nice that the size was 19....small and we got to know everyone.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

I thought all the hotels were great. No complaints about any of them. The upfront hotel information you provided prepared us.

I thought that we could have spent a little more time up on Eagle's Nest, maybe 2 or 2.5 hours.

All the guides were amazing. History really came alive.

A great way to do the meals. The food was wonderful

I would and have recommended tour because it gives a great overall history of the not only the Band of Brothers series. The tour also provided a general view of Northern Europe in WW2.

18-day Central Europe Remembrance Combined review

The rooms in Germany were small, but it was a great location and the breakfast was fantastic. The airconditioning did not work in the Hungary hotel, and it was hot at night. But the island was a great place to walk and enjoy the river.

Bus and van drivers were fantastic. Bus and van were always clean with no mechanical problems. The mix of walking and public transport was good, and added to the experience.

Great breakfast at the Golden Tulip in Munich

Extremely impressed with the organization of the tour. This was not just following Easy Company, but a very intense education of WWII in the ETO. All the films, books and videos cannot begin to teach the feeling of being there, seeing the beaches, the cemeteries, the people or begin to understand what took place there and what all those people did for us. Not just the airmen, solders, nurses; but the people of France, Belgium, Holland and Luxembourg. What all these people did must not be forgotten.

The hotels were generally quite good. The resort hotel in France was excellent. Each location had its issues but overall they were very comfortable.

Our tour operators were very professional and efficent. They are also very nice people who care.

This was my first trip to Europe and a tour of WW II battlefields was on the top my bucket list. Procom did an outstanding job of making both those events lifetime memories. I posted my pictures and a running blog on social media and all my friends and family were riveted each day. The travel, the hotels, the food, and the people were first rate. Thanks for a life time of great memories.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

i really liked the map supplied during the market garden stop to be able to tie in the surrounding area. I would have liked the same type of hand out at Bastogne. also at normandy as it would have helped to better visualize the various stops to the landing and the beachheas development.

the hotels were good, especially since that was not the focal point of the tour. My single room was always adequate.

I would have liked more time to view the exhibits at Dachau. The tour of the grounds was excellant and i thought Steve was a very knowledgeable guide. He being British gave him a distant perspective that couldn't have been given by a local German.

I felt both Nandor and Steve were knowledgeable and sharing of their of knowledge.I personnaly told Steve that I enjoyed his dialogue on the bus and wished he had done more. The background was excellant.

All meals were excellant with adequate choices.

The buses were clean and comfortable. The walking tours were excellant and especially at Normandy and the cemetaries, extra time was given to absorb the solomonist of the landing or the sacriface given.

I was very pleased with my experience on this tour and have already recommended it to others.

Even though Neurenburg was not scheduled I think that location should be added. I have been to the eagles nest before and while extremely beautiful, I think Neurenburg was a better stop.

I loved the first hand tour guides. I think that added quite an interesting perspective to the trip

What made the bus rides nice was that we stayed in the same hotel a few nights. Bus trips where you are packing bags every night are not that enjoyable. What was really fun was watching the BoB episodes then stopping at the site of the episode. That helped put the events into perspective.

Fantastic tour. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable, the places we stayed were very nice and food we ate as pat of the trip was very good. I would and have recommended this trip. Thank you for a very enjoyable and rememberable experience.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

I would have liked to know more about Obersalzberg before we arrived form the Eagle's Nest. I spent too much time in the museum upstairs instead of walking through the bunker . I didn't really understand what the place was before we got there.

We really packed in so many sights and events into each day of the tour. It was wonderful meeting with the guide/witnesses in France, Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.

Being able to spend time with Leon Gautier was really remarkable. God bless him. Ginny in the Netherlands painted such a clear picture of what happened at the Crossroads, I had goose bumps just imaging the battle! Henri in Bastogne was so knowledgeable, I could have listened to him all day. My favorite guide though was Steve Whitehorn in Munich. His tour of Dachau and the walking tour of the Third Reich were just incredible. Steve was so articulate and described so many things to us. I learned so much from him.

I thought the food was very good. I am sure it is hard for you to please all the people all the time:)) The meals better than I expected them to be!

Our bus was very comfortable and the drivers did a great job keeping us safe. They went out of their way to take Rudy Valle and me to the Munich train station the last night of the tour. We appreciate it. By the way, it was a great overnight train ride to Paris!

I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in the subject matter. Trying to get to all of these places on your own, would have been very difficult I think. The tour took all the worry out of the logistics. All we had to do was show up on time each morning and get back to the bus at the appointed times and enjoy what we were seeing!!

Very pleased with the tour. Guides were knowledgable about subject matter. I would recomment this tour because there were many sites that a person would miss traveling seperately. I didn't quite feel I was as prepared for the weather as I should have been. I don't recall seeing that it would be a good idea to bring an umbrella.

The "witness" guides were outstanding. Understandably, had a difficult time hearing the gentleman at Sword Beach...perhaps a microphone would help?

Overall, I loved the tour and want to return to Normandy and perhaps other WWII sites in the future. Tour guides were very friendly and accommodating!

could not have been better, all were vintage property which reflected the area except France and that was no problem.

I have been on a number of land tours by bus, this was by far the best, the bus was sized for comfort, not filled to capacity, easy on and off[middle door]. good TV viewing, AC very good, and a very important feature is the PA system was excellent! Great Drivers.

What made this tour great is that it is not for everyone. The tour is for people of like interests, it tours only an area that that is for people that have this interest, no wasted time. I would recommend your tours highly but only to those with interests in this time and location.

18-day Third Reich Combined review

without a doubt, some of the finest rooms I've ever had!

My first 11 days of the tour were great, but Charlie made the extended Third Reich 7 days to be the very best. It was like traveling with my best friend!

If you're really into the history of WW2, the Third Reich tour is a "must see."

All the meals were 5-star, but the meals in Germany were my favorites!

The bus held 56, but we were a group of 20, plenty of room, refreshments, very comfortable with excellant drivers! I'm 63, overweight and some of the walking was tiring for me, but the group gave us time to rest so it was very doable.

I have been studing WW2 since the 2nd or 3rd grade. I consider myself to be more than average in WW2 Knowledge. I was supprised at how many people on the tour (customers) hadn't read the "Band of Brothers" book or even watched the entire TV series. I thought that odd.I mean why go on a trip if you weren't all that informed/interested in the subject matter? The tour was very well planned so there was something for just about everyone. The meals were all 5 star. Nothing was rushed, there was plenty of time to see whatever sites there was. For an god "overall" WW2, this was perfect for all ages and interests.

Surprised that there was no air conditioning in the rooms, but that may be a U.S. thing.

You did a very good job of picking between all the different sites available. I really wished that the museum in Bastogne had been open.

The guides did a fantastic job. Their knowledge and experiences of this time in history were outstanding. Their presentations were interesting and very enjoyable. I wished we would have been able to spend more time with some of them.

I was very surprised with the meals. The food was excellent.

This was to be a tour of a lifetime for me. But because of the extreme excellence in every area of the tour you have spurred me to go on another one of your tours. I may not be able to go next year but I do plan on returning in 2 to 3 years to go on your Third Reich tour. I can't really put this into words how great this experience was for me.

Holland was not quite up to the other countries. If the tour is ever abbreviated, I think Holland could be deleted without distracting from the overall tour too much.

All the guides were great. Especially appreciated the additional insights we got through the German guide at Dachau and Munich.

All the meals were great; especially enjoyed some of the places in Normandy.

Bus was fine with all the room; AV system needs to be fixed (more/bigger screens; rear screen was not full color). A great addition would be headphones so those who want to read/sleep and not listen to the program could do so.

Great tour; liked the "everything included" concept. Impressed the Procom didn't try to cut corners on meals, limits on what could be ordered ala cart, etc. Loved the authenticity, special pass for D-Day ceremony, and following the BOB's path as much as possible.

Possibly a little more background about where we would go and what we would see. Just would have liked a little more in depth. Not really a big deal though. Still would go on another Procom tour without hesitation.

All local guides EXCELLENT!!! Not forgetting Nandor, who was also excellent.

I am still amazed at the restaurant choices, and more importantly, the ability to order anything off the menu. However, I think that for people that don't drink beer, we should be allotted 4-5 Coke Lights. LOL ( joking )

Outstanding. Absolutely would recommend.

It's not that we were missing needed information--its that the tour makes you want to learn more!

I thought the hotels were very well chosen. The only issue for us was laundry. If a similar hotel could be found with a guest laundry--where we can do it ourselves--that would be a valuable improvement.

Because of weather, we missed Berchesgarten. That was disappointing, but certainly not the fault of the tour operators, since it was due to flooding. Our guides quickly adapted and found an interesting alternative.

There was nothing wrong with any guides. Witnesses added a lot to the tour, especially when recounting their own stories. The French witness was ill, so we missed him. The only reason all guides don't have 5 stars was so we could give Henri the highest rating. We could give them all 6s or 7s. Our tour guides, Andrea and Marietta, were wonderful, and wonderfully knowledgable. Their organization, humor, and forebearance helped to enable a wonderful group. Our whole group was outstanding. When weather got bad and problems occurred, Marietta and Andrea, with the aid of your logistics personnel, made adjustments that made it easy for us.

This was the tour of a lifetime. It's hard to imagine that anyone in the future could live up to this tour. I only need to also mention how wonderful Andrea and Marietta were.

Not sure if I mis-read the dietary restriction email or not but perhaps word it such that the request is about what dietary restrictions you have and what types of food you dislike. Good chance I misread it though. :-)

Belgium hotel was great for location to walk into town. Holland hotel, crazy layout to get to the room and where was the thermostat? I probably missed it in the room. All other hotels were fine.

I only give Germany a 3 star as we missed out on the Eagle's Nest, not the fault of the tour folks and Nuremberg was a good but not quite the same. More time at Utah Beach and Cemetery would be good. Same goes for visiting the tour stops in Belgium, especially the woods where Easy company had bunkers. One other suggestion, I was asked when I got home by a friend, "did they show you the tower where Shifty Powers took out the sniper in Foy?". So unless I missed it, I would suggest a quick stop into Foy and perhaps point that out as that was a memorable moment in the mini-series.

Y'all were great. I had a blast getting to meet Andrea and Marietta. Both of whom spent time with us when we weren't on the tour bus. Especially learning what we did and didn't like (re: meals), so they adjusted without being asked. So that gave a nice personal touch to it all. The witnesses/guides at each stop provided a ton of information and gave us a greater understanding of the events that took place at each stop.

Germany was the best as we could get just about anything off the menu. My only feedback regarding the food, please provide more of a choice. The tour was a bit pork & fish heavy. Other than that, I enjoyed the meals.

Bus was great, comfortable, plenty of room for every to stretch out and relax. I don't mind all the walking as that was great exercise. Overall, very happy with the transportation.

I enjoyed the tour and I would recommend it. My one area of feedback is more time at the museums and Utah beach. Granted, I know the goal is to give the best overview of what happened in Normandy, I just felt a bit rushed to get through the museums, especially at Utah Beach. So perhaps add an additional 20-30 minutes to those stops.

The only additional info that would have been useful would be to inform US veterans that they can participate in the retreat ceremony at the cemetery at Colleville Sur Mer. We were told to gather at the flag poles at the appropriate time but it was unclear that we would be able to take part in the ceremony.

All hotels were of excellent quality. All rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel restaurants were equally as good. The Best Western in Bastogne was especially enjoyable, as the fact that it was family owned/operated was apparent in the very welcoming environment and excellent service. The hotel in Holland was okay but the cavernous and maze-like interior detracted slightly from the overall experience.

The sights in Normandy were excellent. We were able to see a lot in a limited amount of time. One of my highlights for the entire trip was meeting Mssr Gauthier at his Sword Beach museum. It was incredible to hear about the events from someone who participated in them. Additionally, stopping at Angoville au Plain was fantastic. It was a great example of the type of place you would not know to visit if you were not with a guided tour. Timing our visit to Arromanches at low tide was great. It was nice to be able to go out to get right up to the remnants of the Mulberry harbor. Sights in Holland were good - it was nice to hear the perspective of the two witnesses, Jan and Jeannie. The highlight of the trip to Belgium was seeing the foxholes at Bois Jacques. Stopping at the German cemetery nearby was a nice touch. All sights in Germany were as good as expected. Having Robert as our guide at Dachau was helpful to provide a lot of background info. The only recommendation I would make is to allow a few more moments for the guests to read some of the information on the walls. Robert hit the highlights but there was a lot of additional interesting material elsewhere.

All guides were knowledgeable and passionate. As mentioned in the previous section, I truly enjoy Mssr Gauthier and the story of the French Commandos.

All meals were excellent. It is hard to find meal choices that are acceptable to such a diverse group of people, but I think you did a great job of finding a great mix of dishes that are representative of the region and close enough to American style food as to not offend anyone's tastes. Well done!! In particular, the restaurant we ate at on back-to-back days in Normandy was particularly nice. It had good food, a great atmosphere, and the owner was extremely friendly. Of note, I probably ate too much pork in Germany but I have no one to blame but myself.

The bus drivers were AMAZING. Seriously, I enjoyed just watching them maneuver the bus through the narrow roads in Normandy. Thanks again for coordinating a taxi to the airport on our departure day!

This was truly the tour of a lifetime. The itinerary is unbeatable. We were able to see so many sights that helped to bring these momentous events to life. The food, lodging, and guides were OUTSTANDING! I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning about World War II in western Europe.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

All the hotels were very nice. More than I expected. All were 4-5 star hotels.

I know it was the "Band of Brothers" following "their" route, but I would have liked to have seen at least the Eifel Tower in France or stayed 1 day in France to rest and shop. The hands on with actual eye witnesses was fantastic and very interesting! I loved to hear their stories and first hand accounts. Some places were a little fast paced. Would liked to have spent more time in some areas, but overall Wonderful!!!

All were better than imagined!!

Great food! All 5 star meals!!! More than I could eat in Germany.

Bus was very comfortable and clean all the time. The bus drivers were fantastic and drove very well!

The tour was fantastic. I would maybe recommend a little more time in a few of the towns to do a little shopping. I would liked to have the guides talk about some of the history and point out where things used to be in some of the towns and along the roads as we were traveling. The girls and bus drivers were awesome and a blast to be with!!

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

A JPG file was sent to us apparently showing our meeting place at Charles De Gaulle airport. However, my son and I were both confused about the exact location of the meeting place. The picture did not match the place where we met the group. Perhaps a drawing with very specfic physical identifiers mentioned ex. by the "Paul's" kiosk, which is next to the Wells Fargo Currency Exchange window. GThey say one picture is worth a thousand words.

I know this will sound like a broken record especially to Andrea but if Americans are in Belgium they will look for chocolate and Belgian waffles. The hotel in Belgium should add waffles to the assortment which, I must say, was excellent.

I can't say enough about this tour.

The food was amazing.

The bus drivers were unbelieveable. When the clients applaud when the driver does a fantastic job you know they are good.I only wish that we could've conversed with them. Language was a barrier. There was a lot of walking which helped me keep off some weight. However, potential customers whould be made aware of the amount of walking since it could be a problem.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Perhaps information isn't the proper category; however, it would have been helpful to know more about the menu choices before the tour began. I and perhaps others, was not used to the "heavy" meals that were good and plentiful, but quite different than those I was used to. This was not a serious matter, but one that would have made the experience fantastic overall.

Every venue was well planned and executed by your staff. The guides were very knowledgeable and explained the sites quite well. Cudos to them.

The sites gave a wonderful overview of the campaigns and battles that took place in each site. Everything was well chosen and explained very well.

Every American could benefit from this tour. It was a turning point in the history of the United States not only in the sense of the defeat of evil empires, but the resulting G.I. Bill created a vibrant and effective middle class in the country. We all owe a great deal to the men and women who constituted the "Greatest Generation."

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Much to say in little space. Visiting historic sites lends important personal perspective - high marks to your tour & leaders here. More time on Eagle's Nest instead of the Doc. Center would have been good; Doc. Ctr. was like one more museum. Dachau tour was meaningful, w/a great guide. I can't really think of anything especially negative on this tour. Don't overlook the off-subject "gems" that are very nearby: the Bayeux Tapestry, Wm.the Conqueror's Churches & Abbeys, etc. Your travelers should be aware & make time. All in all, this was a great experience & well worth the money! I am happy to recommend you to others.

All guides were enjoyable & added to the experience. Especially good praise to Henri Mignon at Bastogne, & Robert at Dachau/ Munich.

Foreign cuisine is always a bit "different", but you all deserve praise for introducing us to really good dining experiences in nice settings.

I would gladly travel on that bus with those drivers in the US. Good choices!

We traveled from ocean to mountaintop, gaining much historical perspective & better understanding of important events. I will recommend because you plan well, offer attentive & engaged tour leaders who are knowledgeable & care about their people. Price is very reasonable, as well.

11-day Central Europe Remembrance review

We did a lot of walking and although I thought I was prepared for it, I wasn’t. It was never a problem, but if my father had traveled with me, as he originally intended, it would have become an issue. It would, perhaps, be a good idea to elaborate as to the amount of walking the tour actually does.

With the exception of the Jewish restaurant we ate in during our stay in Poland, everything we did, everything we saw, and especially everything we ate or drank was just beyond my wildest expectations! I have never been on a tour before and I can tell you with absolute certainty that I will never even look at another company for booking a tour. ProCom is the gold standard, to which all other companies should set their sights. I didn’t want for anything and felt like I was treated like a queen. I enjoyed this so much, that I am actively working with another member of our group to set up another tour in the future. I would recommend ProCom, and I have, to everyone I know. This is truly an ‘all inclusive’ tour. When I found out that only 5 other people had booked, I was afraid that the trip would be cancelled because of not enough participation, but nothing could be further from the truth. I can’t wait for my next experience with you guys!

11-day Central Europe Remembrance review

The accommodations at each hotel were fine, and I had little if any trouble anywhere. The inconveniences were minor, and I also decided that minor troubles were to be expected. The last thing I wanted to be was a “high maintenance” ugly American. The unforeseen is what makes a trip adventurous. The group should be commended for how well you took care of all of us.

I am a poor person to ask about this because I was in awe of every place we went. All of my life I have heard of some of these places. I know some of the people might have gotten tired of me saying, “Can you believe this? We are in a Soviet bloc satellite. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be able to visit such a city, much less roam around throughout the country. We are walking in the footsteps of Hilter. We are in countries that had revolted against the USSR.” As a Catholic, I could not believe the magnificence of the churches in Europe. There was little, very little, that was not of interest to me.

Food was no problem for me. I went there expecting to eat things I had never eaten before. The meal in Poland was nto the greatest, but it was a reasonable meal for someone who had never eaten there before. The meal that we shared on the first night in Hungary was undoubtedly one of the best meal, tied together with the ambience of the restaurant, that I ever had. All of the food was fine with me. Thaks for planning that as you had done.

I am more than happy to talk with anyone about the trip, your company, and my experiences. This was a great trip, but it isn’t for everyone. It has some very poignant and touching moments, but the level of evil is sometimes beyond comprehension. Another rfactor in the trip is going to me the mix of particpants. We had a good group. I have posted something on Facebook, and I hope others saw it. To Steven, Laci, Charlie, and Andrea, we COULD NOT HAVE HAD better people to shepherd us around and take care of us. I really want to take another tour, perfeably the Third Reich tour starting in Munich and drinking beer at Oktoberfest. I do miss the beer. BTW, you can tell I had a lot of time on my hands so I played around with circling your selections.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

We enjoyed all the hotels we stayed in. The beds were all very comfortable and the rooms were very clean.

Seeing these sites first-hand that we studied about in own high school history classes was the ultimate experience for us. We walked and stood on historic soil.

We enjoyed hearing the real-life stories of the witnesses. They added a personal touch to World War II history. Steven Whitehorn's wealth of information at Dachau was very interesting.

The meals in each of the countries were delicious, very satisfying. The continental breakfasts were "out of this world". There was something for everyone.

Our bus drivers were exceptional, We felt very safe in their care. The English Channel ferry trip was fantastic - one we would not have wanted to miss. Walking in Munich was fun - just had to beware of the bicyclists.

This was a trip a lifetime for us and one we will always cherish. We would highly recommend Procom Tours to anyone who is interested in a World War II history tour to Europe. We are very receptive to prospective customers contacting us for reference on our town.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Having never travelled abroad, wish we had known that washcloths were not used. Really enjoyed The Bear-such atmosphere and charm. The Hotel Melba was also a favorite

Really enjoyed meeting Rosemary and Monica. All were very interesting and made the events of the battles come alive. Might consider that Steven’s was a little lengthy because of all the walking and standing

We appreciate them sharing their stories and knowledge.

Although we may not have liked everything we ate, we still enjoyed the meals because trying different foods was part of the whole experience.

We were amazed at how well Zolie and Peter were able to navigate that big bus through busy streets and how they never got lost. Please thank them for us and our apologies for having to get Peter up that last day to fetch a bag. Know they had a GPS, but still… Loved the ferry ride even if it was a little long. Walking was not a problem until we got to Dachau. We got a little tired as there was no place to sit and rest.

We have nothing but positive things to say about this tour. It was absolutely first class all the way. The girls and Nandi were just great, not only with their knowledge, but just keeping us all on schedule. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is thinking of doing a trip such as this.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

The best breakfast is in”Happy” Holland - the eggs, the hot chocolate!

The visits to the cemeteries were especially moving. It was good to see American, German, and Dachau cemeteries because that brought home what a tremendous loss of life occurred on all sides.

We learned so much and are so grateful to have been able to hear these people share their experiences.

It’s an excellent idea to have the group go ala carte for some meals, especially toward the end of the tour when we were feeling a little stuffed from all the wonderful food. We had only two meals where our choices (made many days in advance) were not our favorites.

We had an excellent experience on the Beyond Band of Brothers tour. How about a tour that follows Patton through Europe?
