11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

It was really special to have Henri as a guide since he lived through the battle. A treasure!

Well organized and reasonably priced. The relaxing travel days were welcome respites in a busy schedule. Enjoyed the size of the group--learned a lot from talking to the other travelers.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Was especially impressed by the daily emails with WWII snippets of information

I was very satisfied with all the hotels we stayed at, the service and meals they provided.

This just wasn't my "thing"...a lot of off and on the bus, but gave me a real appreciation for the scope of the conflict

would have liked just a little more time here

Excellent, very engaging

Very personable and enthusiastic

All very wonderful guides, giving us perspective and fact. Very enlightening

We lacked for nothing

Outstanding and Engaging. Robert worked very hard, we all were very impressed with his knowledge and work ethic. He's a very poised young man and a real asset to your tour firm.

Loved the tour, have recommended it already! Here's why I loved it...once I got to the tour bus at CDG Airport, I didn't have to worry about anything (transportation, accommodations, food, museum fees, arranging for a guide).

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Greatly appreciated the pre-tour recommended reading list.

H4 Hotel München Messe-Rooms and breakfast were excellent. Dinner was limited and average quality.

Greatly appreciated local, Charles, providing first-hand knowledge of events that don't appear in the history books.

A reminder of the sacrifices of so many men.

Makes one think of the lessons learned from earlier failure and the planning and logistics needed to succeed.

The volunteer Canadian guide was great and the Canadian museum was the best on reminding us of the reasons for the war.

The museum guide was wonderful.

With local knowledge, Henri, provided explanation and context which provided an understanding of a chaotic battleground.

Very well presented.

Excellent because of local guide Henri.

Greatly appreciated the tour's ceremony and presentations to our tour's veterans.

Did not participate. I know what happened and would not have been able to unsee the sight of man's inhumanity.

Impressed with local guide's knowledge of events leading to rise of Hitler.

Procom's planning enabled our group to easily enjoy a very crowded site.

Very knowledgeable.

Henri added greatly to my understanding. Although I had previously read books on the battles, the knowledge shared by Henri put the events in context. With local knowledge, Henri, was able to overcome some obstacles that would have hindered someone trying to tour the battleground on their own.

We appreciated local's point of view.

One of my tour highlights was Charles in Normandy discussing the actions on his family's farm.

Meals were excellent except for dinners at H4 Hotel Munchen Messe. We expected better for this tour.

Excellent dealing with wide range of participates' personalities.

Our driver, Peter, was excellent. He expertly handled a large bus on narrow roads and small car parks.

Tour was great. All we had to do was follow a few instructions because almost everything was handled for us.

5-day Normandy Invasion review

The travel consultant was always very professional, friendly and pointed us in the right direction depending on what we needed.

We were very confident when we left for our trip because Procom had answered any questions we had.

The hotel was excellent, and the staff was always very friendly.

He was very informative, and gave us a feeling of the local villages.

The meals were all excellent.

He was very professional and made us laugh.

The bus driver was a great driver and very professional.

I was very impressed with the tour. All of the other people who were on the tour were very nice and a lot of fun. We were happy to find we had a lot in common with many of them and hope to keep in touch with them. I felt like the tour showed us a large area of sights that we may not have been able to see on our own. I would recommend the tour for that reason.

9-day American Civil War Tour - A Nation Tested review

This review is for the Civil War Tour, on day 1 in D.C. we were dropped at the Smithsonian American History Museum. Not being familiar with this museum it would have been helpful to have been given guidance to start at the top where there are actual exhibits relevant to the Civil War as well as American Military and the Presidents. Not knowing this many of squandered our time on lower floors viewing unrelated exhibits.

The Hyatt in Richmond offered the best dining experience.

See previous comment, minimal relevance to the tour subject matter.

You can't go wrong seeing the Lincoln Memorial, always inspiring.

While historically significant not a lot to see there.

A great experience, no amount of reading or map study will give you the same understanding of what the soldiers there faced. The guide was superb at explaining the difficulties the terrain there faced the leaders in making decisions on moving their troops effectively.

Again while significant not a lot to see there.

Quite interesting, being in the second group for the last day of the tour felt a bit rushed. Never had much time to visit downtown Gettysburg when anything was actually open for business.

Did not participate.

Absolutely wonderful, sadly did not get much time to see it. It's been many years since my last visit to Gettysburg and the newly renovated Cyclorama display and the new museum and gift shop are superb.

Very moving

Quite good for an abridged tour given the time allowed. Have had the opportunity on active duty to tour the battlefield with a historian from the Army War College and naturally this gave more insight.

Once more historically significant but not a lot to see there.

Very interesting and the Park Service Guide was excellent.

Wonderful, the restoration of the old Executive Mansion is amazing. The adjacent museum is excellent and has so many historically significant artifacts it's well worth seeing. The many other related curiosities are also fascinating.

Sadly we made a detour off the itinerary to accommodate the wishes of two guests to see some obscure battle site on the way where they had ancestors fight. This side trip took far longer than our guide anticipated and we literally had to rush through Appomatox. Would probably have enjoyed it more if I had time to see it. Not pleased the whole group was Shanghaied for the convenience of just two people.

Not so much Civil War related

It's unfortunate that Arlington House is a mess due to a major restoration project but understandable. As far as the cemetery itself it's an incredible place and every time I visit it's always moving. I look forward to taking up permanent residence some day.

He's OK, knows the cemetery well. A bit overly obsessed with 'bas relief' sculptures.

Did fine job explaining the events that took place there.

See prior comments on Antietam. Joe really made it clear how hard it would be as a troop commander trying to maneuver your forces on that difficult terrain and how it would hamper your decision making because you would so often be blind to enemy movements.

She did alright, not a ton to see at this site.

A good general overview of the key events that took place at this site.

Excellent, great explanation of what occurred and told his story with a sense of drama that was compelling.

He knows the cemetery well and was able to show us things that I'd never seen there before.

Nothing special. The best dinner was at the Hyatt in Richmond. The box lunches from 'Porkbellies" (not sure if that's right name) were pretty tiresome after the first or second one. I spent many years in the military and can eat very fast, for some of our elderly passengers eating quickly on the bus was a challenge.

Overall Debra did OK, I understand this was her fist solo tour and juggling all of the various situations is not an easy task and she succeeded. The airline changed my departure flight to a very early time and she personally made sure I got to the airport on time which I very much appreciated. My only real complaint was the diversion on the way to Appomatox to Highbridge which I previously mentioned. Don't feel it was appropriate to hijack the tour to satisfy 2 people. If they really wanted to go there she possibly could have helped them secure alternate transportation and let them break off on their own instead of inconveniencing the rest of us. I've no doubt she'll get better with more experience. My only comparison is with the guide I had for your 11-day Band of Brothers European tour, she was "5-star" so maybe I was just spoiled.

The driver was terrific, skilled wheelman and good personality and sense of humor. I missed the Mercedes coaches you use in Europe. Having the second door in the rear of the bus really helps speed up passengers getting on/off the coach, especially with a number of elderly passengers often with decreased mobility.

This tour satisfied my interest in putting feet on the ground at many of these iconic battle fields and learning more about them. Like anything there's room for improvement but considering this one of your newest tours no doubt it will get better. Overall Procom offers a good value for your money and that's why I'd recommend taking a trip with you folks. I will be back for another.

9-day American Civil War Tour - A Nation Tested review

An overall map to make it easy to follow the route while on the tour. This would help put into perspective where one battlefield is related to another. During the trip, I would review a book by Jeff Shaara that covered 10 Civil War battlefields to help me prepare for the next day's adventure. However his maps were of each battlefield, outlining the strategies and tactics. Given that I did not want to carry a book with me on the bus, I did not have this book with me. It would be nice to have a map, even if it was simply a road map, to see where we were, where we were going. It was also a little confusing on some days when we covered more than one battlefield on the same day, in the same area, but the battles were fought in different years.

BUT… instead of letting us "run loose" on that first day, why were we not directed to the 3rd floor with the exhibit on the Civil War? My wife and I stayed 3 days after the tour, returned to this museum, found that 3rd floor information here to be quite valuable. Would have been nice to have seen this first.

Well due to the heat it was not as pleasant as it could have been.

Would have been nice to have more time to walk around after an orientation by the tour guide to appreciate the history here.

I give this 5 stars BUT: It was very difficult to get the "lay of the land", how the battle here unfolded. Too much on and off the bus with short "looking and seeing". Granted this is a rather large battlefield necessitating bussing to different points. This is why I think the overall tour should be extended by 3 days to allow an extra day in some locations. Needed and wanted more time here. An extra day in Antietam would, I think, eliminate the hop on/off tour of the battlefield. It would also allow more walking of the battlefield with and without the tour guide, allow time to review signage, etc.

A nice balance of walking from point to point with the guide.

Very interesting. Gave a fascinating perspective on the impact of war on the local population.

Why was the tour cut short, the tour guide seemed to admit this. Regardless, other than "ghost stories" not much of a ghostly tour. Is there a ghost tour that includes the cemetery??

Been here before, loved it again.

Been here before, loved it again. Learned a few things that I did not already know.

While I would have loved more time (see comments for Antietam), since I had been here before I focused on what the tour guide was telling us instead of trying to figure things out. On my previous trip I had spent parts of two days touring the battlefield, thus I already had a good sense of the flow of the 3-day battle. The information learned on this trip added to what I already understood. Having said that, extending the overall tour by 3 days (again see Antietam comments) would allow for more time on the battlefield. Why not have time in Devil's Den, for example?

Fascinating. Well done, nice walking tour. Excellent pace.

Would have liked more time here. Felt a little rushed.

Since I had been here before, granted 30+ years ago, I opted to not do the movie but instead walk the grounds on more own. Really helped me get a sense of how things unfolded here.

Other than Arlington National Cemetery, Ford's Theatre, the Petersen House, each of which has Civil War history, what else did was see that was Civil War related? The next two survey items refer to these. Now we did see some interesting sites, learned some things I did not know, but what was covered, what am I forgetting, that was Civil War related???

Now I never had given any thought about why the headstones here are so varied as compared to American military cemeteries oversees. I now have some sense of that, wish to study more on this subject. And will probably buy Jim Carr's book that he made sure we knew he had written and is soon to be published. A lovely and solemn time on America's hallowed ground covering all aspects of the history of this site.

Very knowledgeable but at times a bit conceited

Very knowledgeable, personable

Excellent! Very knowledgeable, personable

He was a little better here, perhaps than the first day. Perhaps because it was cooler?

While I understand the convenience of box lunches they are difficult to eat in a bus when there is no tray. Would have been nice to have choices of meat. If box lunches are planned, why not poll the group the day before then send in the order for X number of ham, Y number of turkey? The best box lunch was when we were able to eat the lunch while stopped at a combined rest stop & picnic area. The worst was the day (I believe this was the last box lunch?) we had to eat the lunches in a very short time on the bus. The "served" restaurants were great. The time for lunch and the underground rr tour at the Dobbins House should have been coordinated better. I am sure I was not the only one that realized the tour was about to start when I was just finishing my lunch. The BBQ place and the "biker bar", both of which were substitutes for the normal stops, were bad and should not be used again.

So much enthusiasm! The only fault was the few times she seemed to have conversations with those in the front and did not include those of us in the rear.

No tray. No netting or pocket to place materials you needed to access regularly.

I love the fact that even with expansion they still have a small company feel. I always am treated as a friend when I call the office, not just a customer. I am never pressured with "What tour can I book for you today?"

This as our second BBOB tour, we have already booked a third. We love this company, look forward to a fourth, a fifth, and more tours!

9-day American Civil War Tour - A Nation Tested review

A map of how we got from one location to another would have been very helpful. The bus driver knew where he was going, but the passengers find it useful to follow the roads. It would allow the passengers to be able to plan future trips to the locations of interest and also, when tour guides talk about where brigades, etc. were on the ground during the battles, they often used current roads to guide you. Without passengers having a map during our travels, we were unfamiliar with the roads in the areas. I would also have appreciated knowing how much bus riding and looking out of windows we were going to do vs actually getting out and walking around. I DO NOT like trying to see things from a bus window and sitting on a bus or standing listening to a guide for hours. I would much rather walk the grounds, read the signs, as well as listen to the tour guide. Some days there was too much bus riding and standing after we got off the bus.

We did not get enough introduction to this museum. We were new arrivals and I think did not know what to expect. More introduction to this afternoon and a handout about the museum before we got there with tour guide suggestions as to what to see/do when we got there would have really helped. After the BOB tour was over, my husband and I went back to this museum on our own and were awed by how much it had to offer. I was not prepared to work my way through this museum when we had just arrived and there was really no introduction to it.

This went fairly well and was informative. I never warmed up to the the tour guide although he did know his information.

This was an awesome place, but we were not given enough time here to explore. We needed to walk around more with the tour guide vs stand and listen to him.

This was probably the worst day because all we did was get on and off the bus and stand and listen to the tour guide. No time to explore the area or read the signs. Pointing things out from a moving bus is useless unless you are sitting in the front seat and can see out both sides and also see the tour guide point to things.

This stop was a bit better than Antietam mostly because I started walking away from the tour guide to see the signs and explore the battlefield areas. There was less standing and listening here than at Antietam, but still not the best situation. I would have liked to have toured the 2nd Bull Run, too.

This was a terrific stop. The tour was great. I learned a great deal about Gettysburg as a town in the 1860s as well as learned more about the battle as the story of this house and its inhabitants granted me a different perspective on those 3 days.

This was a great optional tour. I learned a lot about Gettysburg as a town affected by the war through the stories that were told by the guide. The ghost stories were okay, but the historical information about the buildings and the college, etc. were wonderful.

Super and so glad we had time to return later.

This was also a great part of the trip although, again, there was a lot of standing and listening and then not enough time to explore the area.

I had been at this battlefield within the past 4 years so was familiar with it already, otherwise I might have felt we needed more time here. The on and off the bus thing was not too bad and there was a bit more time to explore, but could have used more.

Too much here to piece together. Tour guide a bit "over the top" on his feelings that the area was being consumed by strip malls. I get it, but maybe he should "rein it in" a bit. Stopping in the woods was good and if we got to wander a bit we learned more. Ellwood Farm was a great stop. Again, as so many other times, it would be better to have time to wander around and read the signs as well as hear the tour guide's comments.

I liked this stop as we were able to get out and walk the area some. Usually you could walk away from the tour guide, but still hear him and thus, able to learn more. The recreated trenches and the crater stop were the best.

This was good. I enjoyed the tour through the Confederate president's house. Museum was interesting also.

Our time here got condensed because we made a stop at Highbridge which was not included on the itinerary. I LOVED the stop at Highbridge, but because we were not given time guidelines, people took too long. I think the entire group should have voted on the extra stop and the entire day rearranged appropriately so that Appomattox was not short-changed. Appomattox could have been a much better experience, but the timing messed it up. Again, we needed time to explore on our own. We should not have had to choose whether to stay with the tour guide or wander on our own.

Not a highlight for me as we had done a lot of this on the first day. It did not seem to fit in very well with everything else. Seemed like filler prior to Arlington. Not sure what parts of this had to do with the Civil War.

I enjoyed this. I liked what our tour guide told us and appreciated the time at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the changing of the guard. I did not like the tour guide on the "special" bus as he talked was though he had to entertain small children. He should have been told this was a history group and change his tone. His information was fine, just that he delivered it as though he was on stage. Although we made a special stop for someone whose husband's ashes were interred, we got to see more of the cemetery this way and learned more about it. Probably not a good idea to do this and take everyone else along in the future as it can mess up the tour timing as it did on the Appomattox day.

Knew his stuff, but a bit conceited and I wondered if he was happy about being with us

I enjoyed his enthusiasm and knowledge. He tried to cover too much information, but I am not sure we can fault him for that. Perhaps he was asked to cover too much?

Too much detail, too much talking and standing. I just did not enjoy this stop.

She was knowledgeable and did a good job.

Good job, informative, answered questions well. I loved how he continued to repeat things so you could better understand the progression of the battles and why things happened the way they did.

He did a good job and really made you understand the problems that were unique to Petersburg. He made the history interesting.

He did okay on this day, but nothing spectacular.

Food was okay, not spectacular, but good. Too many box lunches and PLEASE, let's not eat on a moving bus. Some of us get car sick even without trying to juggle boxes with no tray tables. Best box lunch situation was the picnic stop. HAVE CHOICES for box lunches! Let people choose from turkey or ham, not just give them something. (I heard you have had bad luck with this, but we have been on a tour where we chose ahead several times in advance of stops and there was no trouble. You get what you pick based on description---how simple is that?) Worst thing was the biker bar---took 2 hours! Another bad situation was the barbecue dinner. The waitress never got around for drink orders and they knew we were coming with tickets for wine and beer. A bit too many buffets for my liking. Really enjoyed the dinner at Ebbett's Grill as it was plated service.

Debra was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, but I think, at times, needed to be more mature. At times she seemed to "play favorites" with the people in the front of the bus and the rest of us wondered what the "fun and laughter" was about up there. This sometimes happened at meals also. I think Debra could have relayed even more information during bus rides, but maybe this will come as this tour gets repeated. Her going over the reasons for the war, etc. was really good and maybe more of this information can be shared throughout to prepare us for each day and so forth. Debra dealt with problems well and never seemed to lose her "cool." I realize her job is a tough one.

Bus had no trays and no place to put magazines, maps, etc. Watching movies was difficult if you were not near a screen, but the worst situation was you could not turn off the sound if you decided you did not want to watch. There should be individual sound controls.

Would love it if they could help with bags a bit more, but it was okay. The company is really quite helpful and is there when you need them.

11-day Italian Campaign review

They are outstanding, I was very satisfied.

Up front with all information I requested.

Bed was way too hard at Plaza Hotel, other then that they were very good.

All the guides were good but Roberto and Max although very knowledgeable of their subjects, they went too deep in explaining them to us taking up too much time.

She was delightful, kept us informed and entertained ever day on the tour.

Procom really try to give you the very tour for the money. First class all the way!

It was good, I think thirty two was too large a group. You get to see a lot of Italy, not as much WWII sights as I would have liked, but over all a great tour.

Excellent service

Tour guide could have paced the walking to the age of the group

A bit more variety at breakfast and lunch would have been nice. Not more selection, just a bit of a change daily.

Debra was great. She was on top of everyone's needs and anticipated everything ahead of time. Couldn't ask for better. Very pleasant and interesting.

James was pleasant, entertaining and very helpful. A skillful driver.

I didn't know what to expect prior to the tour. It was a pleasant experience and yes, I would recommend it to someone. Looking forward to information on the new tours coming in 2018/2019 involving the civil war.

Provide information on Churches, locations nearest to our hotels, and their hours for services on Sundays that can fit into the itinery/schedule.

Good accommodations overall.

Would have been nice to know where the Civil War exhibition was from the get go. As it turned out, I stumbled into it after having spent time in other exhibits.

A heads up on the amount of walking involved ...

Good overall with only one or two exceptions.

Excellent!

James was an awesome driver. Very diligent and courteous.

I certainly would recommend the tour to others interested in the Civil War period.

I worked with Debra Watkins and she was outstanding! She answered all my questions and made everything so easy. Have already started talking to her about my next trip.

Excellent! I really liked all the information that My Trip provided. Debra also answered any questions that I had about the trip that weren't in My Trip (very few). Camille Naray emailed me prior to my departure and provided me all the information I needed to find her at the airport.

I thought all the hotels were excellent. I only gave the Hotel Mandetta four stars because there was no hot water for the shower in the morning. Other than that, it was great. The A. Roma Lifestyle Hotel was the best though, with the most amenities, such as a business center. We had great meals at all the hotels.

I was in pasta heaven! If anything, there was too much good food. Thank goodness we did as much walking as we did, so I didn't put on any weight during the trip. I thought that the restaurants selected for lunch and dinner were outstanding. Even the meals at the hotel were great.

I thought that they were universally excellent and added a dimension to the tour that I didn't expect. Many of them were very funny as well - "Traffic signs in Italy are just for decoration!"

Our guide really made this day interesting.

It was pretty awesome to actually see bunkers from WWII.

I wasn't even aware of these temples in Sicily before this trip!

An Italian woman came running out to us to show us a picture of herself as a five year old child with American soldiers who landed at Salerno. Priceless.

Pompeii is awesome, other than the incredible crowds (which Camille prepared us for).

I was so glad that we got to see the sight of the Rapido River crossing.

With all the reading I have done on the battles at Monte Cassino, it was incredible to finally enter it. One of the highlights of the tour for me.

What an incredible museum! We could have easily spent the whole day looking at it.

Just seeing the Eternal City for the first time, what an experience!

Of all the things that surprised me during this trip, was how I felt during the visits to the German, Commonwealth, American and Polish cemeteries. Very emotional experiences. So happy to see how well cared for they are. Especially enjoyed the individual stories that the guides shared with us about some of the fallen soldiers, including a female nurse.

Just amazed at the civilization that the Romans were able to create.

Incredible sights, but wow, 25,000 visitors a day, unbelievable!

The bus was comfortable and there was also plenty of water available for us. The drivers were awesome. I still don't know how they managed to navigate the crazy traffic in Italy, especially in the cities. Both of our drivers can drive better in reverse than I can driving forwards!

Camille is awesome! She took great care of all 32 of us during the entire tour, no easy task. Everything flowed so smoothly, but I know that it took a lot of work on her part to make that happen. She is such a joy to be around. I am hoping to go on another tour with her in the future.

Outstanding, from start to finish.

I had an awesome time. I enjoyed the historical sights, which made the WWII Italian campaign come alive from the history books. The food was universally delicious and plentiful (too plentiful at times I think). All the folks on the trip had the same interest in history that I did (unlike traveling with my kids for example). Perhaps best of all, it was relaxing. Everything was taken care of for us; all we had to do is follow Camille's instructions on when to be where. I would recommend your tours for all of the above, plus the great discount program you have. I plan to take advantage of it and book my next tour this week!

11-day Italian Campaign review

Yes, I think it would be good to know exactly what we are going to see on each tour with the guide. It always seems it is given to us that day and we never know what is coming at us. It would also be nice to have this in some kind of handout so that we can refer back to it later on in the trip or after the trip.

No hot water at Paestum. Not used to that!

Farm meals were the absolute best. The meals in downtown Rome, we less so.

I thought Marlene was awful. I spoke with a number of others and they felt the same way. Max should of been doing it

The information in this museum is slanted. You would come out of that meusem thinking the Polish troops won the war and in th emean time we have over 7,000 dead and 3000 missing in the cemetery to their 1000. It's not right or accurate

Could of been much more detail. I liked the guide but this could be done much better

Could of spent the whole day there. I thought that place was so awesome.

Could of done with2 hours of Benito and more of the Roman history. Missing the mark here.

The cemetary tours are always the best. Our people do a greta job here and it is always a highlite for me. It makes me think heavily on the sacrifices that were made. In fact ProCom could put a whole tour around various American Cemeteries.

Wish we had more time

Loved the sights. will have to go back and hire Max as my tour on my next trip to Rome

They were the best !!!

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

In person or online, the support was available and thorough.

I can't imagine a more thorough regimen of preparation information.

All hotels had a local feel and personality that I enjoyed. The accommodations were good and the trip documentation said to bring a washcloth, which I did. I got a little tired of only watching CNN International as the only English-speaking channel in the evening, but it was a good reason to read more.

As you can see, I liked every aspect of this tour. I wanted to learn more history regarding the locations, the battles, the people, and the many monuments. The local tour guides had excellent backgrounds in all of these aspects and all provided their own views on those histories. They were enthusiastic even though they had each led similar tours a hundred times.

I told Robert on our second day in Bastogne that I had a strong craving for a hamburger, after several days of the local fare in France and Belgium. He told me that often happened and that was why he had scheduled hamburgers and fries for dinner that evening. What a good read on his part!

I could not have been happier. Robert was attentive to everyone and managed the details like the professional that he is. He circulated at dinner time to inquire about whether everyone was happy with their meals and asked whether he could get anything for anyone. He asked for feedback every day and was a gracious host. He is a good leader with a focused attention on every detail.

I always felt safe and at ease on the bus. There were no close calls except when another bus hit ours while we were parked at the airport in Paris.

I have already recommended this tour to several other people since my return. It was everything it was advertised to be and much more. You can't advertise the personal experiences that everyone takes away from the tour...the experience of the bonding that occurs with the others in the group, having a WWII veteran who was in Patton's 3rd Army, what you learn from the tour guides and the visual memories that I will retain for the remainder of my life.

You ladies were great!

I felt that I was fully informed

Mercure was very nice and the food was varied and plentiful

Your French guide, Rudy, was an encyclopedia of factual knowledge. Supewr personality and a superb guide.

Only suggestion I would make is to shorten the cemetery visit time. I mentioned this to Robert, our tour manager. We had well over an hour and a half including the flag lowering and most of the older guys in the tour found a place to sit for a long time.

Great restaurant for lunch! nice little walk-around town too.

Canadian tour guide was also superb.

French lady guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant.

you should have 6 stars for Rudy!!!

No complaints at all about the food. Seafood meals were the best of the lunches/dinners. Omaha Beach lunch cheese sandwich was OK. Other meals were better.

Give Robert 6 stars as well!! He absolutely 150% perofeeional and is also a very personable gent!

Bus was a "second home" and Peter, our driver, was amazingly skillful. Several times the entire bus applauded after he navigated through a tight turn or maneuver with flawless dexterity

Absolutely flawless. I have recommended your tours to several of my friends.

You offer a fantastic package - exceptional lodging and meals, a widely-inclusive and superbly managed itinerary, superb guides and exceptionally detailed historical information. This trip was an unforgettable experience.

Amazing service start to finish

Very satisfied

Hotel service representatives were extremely friendly and ready to assist in anyway. The only thing missing was an ATM machine.

I wish we would have spent a little more time here.

Rudy was amazing and EXTREMELY knowledgeable

I never had a bad or "subpar" meal the entire length of the tour.

Again extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. It wasn't wrangling up all of our tribe but he did it time and again.

I cant believe how well our tour driver was able to navigate that large bus through all of the roadways. Great driver!

Extremely satisfied with all aspects of the tour!

We were given way more information than I could have expected. Tour managers, driver, and local tour guides blew me away. I cant wait to book another tour!

Fantastic to see Pointe du Hoc

Glad we stopped here!

Very knowledgeable!

Wonderful! He brought a first hand account to events!

Awesome! Really educated us on Dauchau and on the rise of Hitler in Munich.

Meals were really good! Nice to have a drink included. Meals at the rest stop cafeterias were a bit tricky to navigate but part of the adventure!

Robert was amazing, on top of every detail and very attentive to individual needs.

The coach was very comfortable. Peter was an excellent driver. We were amazed he could navigate on such narrow country lanes.

The tour exceeded our expectations. We learned a lot we didn't know about WWII and D-Day and experienced so much of the local customs, culture, foods. We would highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in following in the 101st Airborne footsteps or interested in seeing WWII sites.

It was a ousy day for weather. Eagle's nest itself was a little disappointing. The views would have been much better if the weather had cooperated.

9-day American Civil War Tour - A Nation Tested review

We felt that more info before we left home would have been helpful.

Just a reminder that the trip was coming up and to refresh our memory about the itinerary

Food was not that great at the Hilton Garden Inn. Exiting the Hyatt was dangerous because of the incoming traffic!

While this was interesting, the whole DC agenda for the first day was too much . Starting the tour with a 2-mile walk in the heat (we know you couldn't control the weather) was a bit much. How about starting the tour with an evening dinner and introduction to the tour & then doing the mall walk and attractions the next day?

See above comments

Would like to have had more time here.

Could have done this on our own if we wished. would have allowed more time to do other options if this were not a prescribed activity

Local guide was excellent

This was most interesting, but we feel we were penalized on this phase of the tour. Having never been here before, we were especially looking forward to this stop. The special guests, while very nice folks, were granted a special stop and then took longer than the allotted time, thus reducing our time at Appomattox. Also, we spent way too much time at the restaurant & could have used that time at Appomattox as well.

practically non existent!

Very knowledgeable but also very self-important!

Excellent

See first comment

Great up until the Appomattox day. Needed to give an exact time to be back on the bus at the special stop. Too little time to eat lunch on the last day. Felt too rushed between Ford's Theater and Arlington. Maybe leave out the Civil War walk in DC.

Pockets where you can stick things in the back of the seats would be helpful

Enjoyed it generally speaking. Needs a little tweaking. If you want to tour all these places, it is nice to have it planned out in advance by someone else! Covers a lot of ground in the time allotted

5-day Normandy Invasion review

I would rate the hotel as overall very good. The room was very good as was the food. My main concern was the lack of English speaking front desk staff. On three separate occasions I went the front deak for assistance and no one spoke enough English to understand my questions. One would think that with the number of English speaking tour groups - Procom - and others - having competent English speaking staff people would be a given.

The view of the beach gave me a far better understanding what the waves of troops faced coming out of the landing barges.

The cemetery was a real " knee - buckler " and brought back the number of dead that was such a sacrifice for us all. Omaha Beach sites werevery much like those at Utah. The Ranger memorial at Point du Hoc was especially moving considering the fierce battle the top to find the coastal guns had been moved further inland.

one could only imagine what the Mulberrys looked like during the invasion. Time and tide have made their claim on the Mulberrys.

I was good to learn more about the courage of the Canadian troops in taking on the Germans at this part of the coast.

The memorial is very effective in providing the information on how hard the British glider troops had to fight to hold on to the bridge to keep it waiting for the ground force to get to them.

Rudy Passera was excellent for his commentary for the tour. His knowledge of the invasion beaches was incredible and he p0assed this on to the tour group in an easy to listen to manner was appreciated by everyone.

The meals were outstanding at all of the restaurants we went to - food was great, service was excellent and all of this was done efficiently considering the size of our group.

Robert did an excellent job in managing and directing us consdering the size of our group. He was always friendly and polite I would like to do another with him as the tour director.

The motor coach was comfortable and provided a very smooth ride. The driver did a great job manoeuevring the coach on narrow roads and on high speed highways.I felt safe in the motor coach and the the driver's expertise.

I rate the overall experience with Procom excellent. I was very pleased by the help that Debra Watkins and Cassie Scales provided to me as I planned my trip. Thanks also to Sandy at avantravel.net for airline reservations.

My general impression of the tour was very positive. The tour enabled me to complete along held desire to visit the invasion beaches and the surrounding countryside.

9-day American Civil War Tour - A Nation Tested review

Breakfast arrangements at Richmond were confusing for both tour members and restaurant staff.

Seeing the Mall and Memorial was great but could have been sacrificed in favor of more time at battlefields.

More time should have been allotted for this tour and the tour guide should have allowed for more "off the bus" time. To not have an opportunity to explore key areas like the Peach Orchard and The Angle is a travesty.

More time allotted to this stop would have been preferable as well.

The best tour guide of the entire tour was the ranger at Petersburg.

Needed more time.

I felt that this was really just the same as the first DC walking tour. Not much info was given on DC during the War. The tour-guide was very knowledgeable but tended to talk about himself too much.

Insisted on staying on the bus too much.

Best guide of the tour.

See first comment.

Dinners generally very good. Lunch typically good as well. Breakfast was pretty basic.

Debra did a great job leading the tour.

James and the motor coach were great.

I had a great time and look forward to doing more tours with BBOB. I would recommend this tour to others with similar interests.

12-day London to Normandy review

She was able to answer all my questions on the spot during my first call, and everything that I thought of afterwards too.

Very complete. I especially appreciated the suggested reading and viewing list.

NLW: very nice room and great location for where we went. Occasionally, dining room service a bit slow. HNB: excellent location, combo tub/shower would be awkward for many to climb in and out of.

Not as expansive as I would have guessed. I had ample (but not too much) time to see and read about the exhibits.

I'll include the BoB memorial at Capel-le-Fern when I consider this one of the highlights of the tour.

Another great balance of time available to things to see. Really added to my understanding of the BoB.

Simply because I'm only tangentally interested in the code breaking aspects of the way, this site didn't hold as much interest for me. The site itself gets high marks for interpretative material in the exhibits.

Very moving. Highest marks to the Assistant Superintendent (I think) who gave the tour.

Absolutely not to be missed for understanding the BoB as well as the air war over Europe. Great Cold Way exhibits too.

Appropriate time allowed for the self-guided tour. While not at all related to the BoB, it was a great way to expand on our visit to Portsmouth.

One of those things you'd likely never see unless you were with some like BBoB. The curator's talk was outstanding.

It added a excellent value to my understanding of how London is laid out. I also appreciated the flexibility we had to do our own touring afterward.

Another great selection for a site to put the BoB in perspective. Once more, very good choice of how much time we had there.

I would have missed so much if I had not added this to my BoB tour. So memorable! I have to put at the top of this section the time we spent at Brecourt Manor. One more example of value BBoB brings that others can't match. The selection of the many available museums available suited the three days we had perfectly. Another key experience was standing on the beach at about the tide line faced by our troops on that day, seeing the bluffs over the beach, then walking up them to the memorial at the top. Absolutely not an experience to miss for anything.

Not everything can get 5 full stars. This would have added little value without the 360 degree video experience included in the tour.

Short visit but to the point. Even though we were a US tour group, adding the British and Canadian beaches truly rounded out my understanding of Overlord.

As with the Juno sights, it added valuable insight to the totality of Overlord.

Very knowledgeable, and also very open to letting tour members add what they knew about the sites we saw.

His French viewpoint added great value, and he was everything one could want a local guide to bring.

Not only did she do an outstanding job in bringing context and understanding to the BoB memorial and Dover castle, but the way she engaged with us on the bus trip out and back to Wembly was equally valuable. A real keeper!

The Dover restaurant seemed utterly unprepared for us, notwithstanding they had virtually no other diners when we arrived. The lunch stop in Portsmouth was a stand-out, as was the lunch stop on Utah Beach day. Except for Dover lunch, all our meals were tasty and inviting.

As noted earlier for his tour-guiding, Robert was exceptionally well organized and always ready to answer any question. He's very personable and represents BBoB well.

As I'm sure you'll hear from the other participants, both Zoltan and Peter were solid professionals that provided worry free transportation with quiet excellence.

Truly, absolutely no complaints or unmet expectations.

I was delighted with the overall value of the tour experience and look forward to continuing the trail of the Band of Brothers in the future. You can be sure BBoB has my highest recommendation to anyone who asks.

5-day Normandy Invasion review

They were always very helpful when I spoke to them on chat

Finding the bus from the maze of an airport was a bit of a challenge. The instructions vary depending on which terminal you are in. We got kind of frustrated trying to find the bus.

Better directions to the bus. I think it would have also been nice for some of our fellow tour goers to have some guidelines on how to conduct themselves and at least try to adapt tot he culture we are visiting

It was clean and simple and the food was pretty good; which is all that is needed when you are spending time out and about all day.

Absolutely beautiful! Our expert guide was so gracious and kind in answering my "2 questions". He truly is an expert!!!

So incredibly humbling and moving

So very cool! You can actually visualize how it was for those landing and bring in supplies

I think it is important for Americans to remember it was a world war and other nations including England and Canada were a very integral part in the success of these missions.

Very cool! Love the museum and seeing the gliders and imagining them crash landing

Rudy was fantastic!!! I could have spent the entire time listening and learning from his expertise, I was truly impressed with his knowledge, patience and graciousness.

I really loved eating at the local establishments around the places we visited. I enjoyed where we had the Croque Monsieur sandwich. I can't stop thinking about the cheese sauce. Beef Stew was delish. Enjoyed visiting the Farm restaurant.

He was very gracious, helpful and approachable.

Everything was great! We have plans to go again, likely to the British tour.

I was really impressed and happy with the entire experience. I was moved, humbled and fell in love with Normandie. I'd move there tomorrow if I could. I heard from others on the tour that have taken tours from other companies and was told this far surpassed those, so I was glad I made the right decision in choosing Procom and have recommended it to others and we are planning another in the future.

Everything was perfect....the information provided on line was absolutely EVERYTHING we need to know before the trip. Good job Procom.

Everything was perfect....some other guests on the tour didn't realize there saw so much walking! One thing about all that information was you do have to read it. It mentioned we might want to take a pair of comfortable boots....so glad I did....actually wore them every single day....we were always in some sort of grass or on the beach.

So glad we stayed in Bayeux and not Caen. Beautiful small town. Same with Bastogne....great location. Hotel Melba had a very personal touch being family owned. Great amenities at all 3 locations.

Perhaps how the hotels are a bit different then the USA. Showers were difficult and didn't know about the lighting/ electric in room where you have to lave the entry card in a a wall slot for the lights to work.

Our special tour guides in Normandy was fantastic - very knowledgeable, passionate and good sense of humor at the right times.

special tour guide Henri was great. He was with us during the Bastogne touring.

Nice touch playing taps and the national anthem for our group.

The special British tour guide was very good and passionate.

The special guide was very nice.

Beautiful

Excellent! knows his stuff, very passionate and a great humor when appropriate.

Excellent as well. Great stories, etc. from someone who was there as a kid.

She was personable and very good. Open to any questions, etc...

Robert was fantastic. I can't say enough good things. He had control of the group, sense of humor when appropriate.

I haven't done any tours like this in the past so I don't have much of a reference - wouldn't change a thing!

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Too many stops as too many memorials.

A little hard to understand...may have talked to fast.

In general food was very good. Got tired of buffet at night in Munich. Buffet in Munich was marginal.

Coach was clean. No restroom in the coach except for dire emergency. How can this be? Our bladders had to be on the bus driver's schedule! Bus driver was great in tight areas..A+ for that. But somewhat concerned about his attentiveness when driving. Seemed to have a hard time keeping it in his lane. Came extremely close to cars/trucks when passing! Very concerning.....

Felt like we were rushed. Not from a walking perspective but I like to stop and read information and had no time to do that. How many memorials and historical plaques can you look at in one afternoon.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Debbie was very helpful with all of our questions and kept us up to date on any changes in the itinerary.

Not knowing what to expect and looking back at the information we received I would say the information was very good.

Again, not knowing what to expect, I would say the information received was very good

All of the hotels were very nice and very clean. Employees were friendly and efficient. Meals were very good.

Being a veteran and standing on Utah beach was a very humbling experience. It helped me understand the effort made by those young men on June 6, 1944

Visiting the cemetery was very emotional for me. Knowing that those American heroes gave their all on Omaha Beach and all the beaches of Normandy that day in June.

I had no concept of the vastness of that project. It is an engineering marvel to see.

Even though it is a lesser talked about beach; it was an important part of the success at Normandy. We should honor all those men who sacrificed their lives at Juno Beach.

Seeing that small bridge and the gliders that landed practically on top of it, I have to applaud the determination of those brave Brits who "Took" the bridge.

Having spent time in the field during a German winter only expands my reverence for those hero's of Bastogne. Living in a whole in the ground with little food, low on ammunition and no winter clothing shows what the spirit of an American soldier can accomplish.

I've seen a lot of military equipment but, the artifacts at the museum gave us a personal look into to the soldiers who spent time in the town of Bastogne and the foxholes of the Ardennes. They show us some of the real horrors of war.

It was very interesting and showed the determination that it took to halt the axis army.

Being one of the veterans who had the honor of laying a wreath at the grave of Gen. Patton was a very emotional moment for me. Those men are true hero's of Bastogne and I salute them.

Standing there in a room of the crematorium; my heart cried out to the souls of those taken by the evil's of war. It was an emotional moment that I will hold onto for the rest of my life.

What can you say about Oktoberfest! Good beer! Good food! Good Reich tour!

Although the building it self is not that impressive, just the fact of where, how, and why it was built was very interesting to see and hear about.

Rudy is very knowledgeable and informative about the Normandy region. He was also fun to listen to while he spoke and gave insights to some of the important happenings at Normandy. Enjoyed him very much. A very good tour guide.

How can you rate someone who lived it. The personal touch Henri gave us was immeasurable. Very interesting and a pleasure to listen to.

Besides being an Olympic skier; which was impressive, Marianne was a very informative and interesting guide.

Along with Steve's tour of Dachau the "Third Reich" tour in Munich was very good also. He has spent a lot of time researching those events and shared a lot of information about how the Reich really started. A good informative guide.

Well, I gained 5lbs if that says anything. The meals were excellent every where we went. A lot of foods I haven't had since my long ago tour of duty in Germany.

Robert was excellent! He made sure everyone was comfortable with everything we did. He was attentive and fun to be with. He did a great job getting us everywhere we were supposed to be and we were lucky to have him with us. Good job Robert!

Peter can sure drive a bus! I never knew a bus could fit through some of those roads but he got us there. The bus was comfortable to ride in and had no problems.

This was our first tour overseas and I think Procom has got it down pat. Everything was well taken care of from the minute we made our reservations until we got off the bus at the end.

We had an excellent time on our tour. The sights, the guides, Robert and Peter along with the rest of our fellow travelers made the tour a special time for us. If you are unsure about taking a tour like this, look no further. The people at Procom have thought of it all. Would and may do another some day.

Very knowledgeable and passionate about what he says.

Unbelievably knowledgeable, what a treat to listen to him.

Very good

Every guide we had was excellent. Could not have asked for any one better.

Did not expect such awesome meals. Great examples of local cuisine.

The tour would not have been as great without, Robert. Friendly, knowledgeable, funny, helped with anything.

Peter was our driver. He was outstanding. I could not believe he could maneuver the large bus on those small roads.

I would recommend any one interested in WWII to take this trip. It was over the top of my expectations.

18-day London to Berchtesgaden review

The French just aren't too friendly

The tour guide for Berstgarden wasn't quite the standard as our other guides

Disorganized; wasn't as passionate as our other guides; no real interesting information presented

Robert is outstanding

The tour was extremely satisfying. My husband and I study history and we learned a lot on this trip. Yes, I'd recommend this trip highly. My only complaint would be some of the fellow travelers who, either didn't read the physical requirements of the tour or greatly over estimated their physical abilities. I don't know what you can do about that. I know there were nights Robert wanted to take us to different resturants but one in the group was so obese she could barely walk.

Responsive customer service

Great staffs, service & food!

Somber!

Great overview of the city

What a unique guy!

Excellent - one of the last witnesses!

Unaware of construction at the site that closed some pathways

Great and abundant food!

Robert is simply the best at what he does! He will continue to do well in whatever career direction he chooses! A terrific asset to your company!

Cool & unflappable drivers!

Even though I knew a lot of WWII history, the perspective from "being there" is invaluable to understanding the significance of those events in US and world history. It was the trip of my lifetime!

11-day War in Poland review

You guys and girls are the top of the line with tour groups.

I kept a folder of all the important paperwork and I was well prepared for the trip ahead of time.

how much things cost in the currency of the country. I had a thousand euros for Germany and came home with some money. I had a Thousand Zloty in Poland and ran out after 7 days. yikes.

couldn't ask for better accommodations!!

beautiful city!! I enjoyed walking the streets at night.

very moving and historical

cried for 5 days couldn't compose myself at times. ps. I wasn't alone. Several of my travelers did the same thing.

most fascinating of all the sites. A must see.

Warsaw was beautiful and I was very surprised to see all the buildings and the Vistula.

Great place to visit. A must see

I was affected the most by this place. Cried like a baby.

learned a lot. Wouldn't want to miss it!!

My favorite place to visit. I only completed 1/3 of the exhibits. We needed more that 2 hours there.

very moving. Didn't know that the Pope played a very pivital role in this. You appreciate freedom after leaving there.

my favorite place to walk at night and see music, boats, outdoor cafe, etc..

Like I said this is the top of all the tours. No one can touch you for group tours!!

A little too much pork but that's an important staple in poland so I enjoyed eating what that country eats.

John is an excellent driver.

So far I've had her and Chuba. They are both great and your company is the best. Eva really painted a great picture of a country who has only been free from communist rule for 28 years. It was very insightful and she was very professional.

perfect!!

I just wish that we stayed in Warsaw longer and maybe go to Gdansk first then finished with Krakow. But other than those thoughts, I have no complaints.!!

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

I thought all were great, staff friendly and clean

The cemetery was beautiful

Very impressed with this cemetery

Excellent guide but would have liked more personal time to look.

Sorry that the one time we had a little free time nothing was open (Sun)

Absolutely breathtaking

They all did a great job, very knowledgeable. Rudy in Normandy sometimes talked way too fast to catch all. Also my red device gave me a lot of trouble.

First class

Really enjoyed him and he did a good job watching out for all of us.

Your employee, Debra, was also very helpful

Our first driver was more helpful and did an amazing job of getting the bus in and out of some really tight places.

It was, I thought, a first class tour. I would recommend it to anyone that wanted an INTENSE military tour. Since my traveling partner, Joe Less, does not have a computer I know you can use this same information for him. He thoroughly enjoyed this and also thought everything was done very well. We also had a great group of traveling companions.

11-day War in Poland review

Always had prompt replies either by email or phone.

Posted detailed itinerary was very informative.

Qubus & Novotel had very tall bathtubs to navigate over, which can potentially be dangerous for some.

Loved Krakow! Was my favorite city of the three.

Was a little disappointed in Schindler's factory - I wish they had reconstructed part of it to resemble how the factory used to look.

Breathtaking.

Amazing sculptures and unique gift shops.

Old town was wonderful.

Very informative.

Breathtaking.

Local guide was outstanding and had a great sense of humor!

Probably my favorite of the museums.

Informative.

Beautiful city with lots of amber shops.

The guide at the Wolf's Lair isn't listed above, but she was amazing and so funny!

Only complaint would be that the portion sizes are too HUGE!

Motor coach was spacious and clean. Our driver was very nice and courteous. Only suggestion would be if there was a way to link our red boxes to the coaches' audio system when watching movies.

I wish there were more than 5 stars on this question because Eva was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I appreciated how she emailed us prior to the tour to introduce herself. During the tour everything seemed to run smoothly and seamlessly. She was always open to our input/feedback and if she didn't know the answer to something, she would find out for us. She always made everyone feel welcomed. I felt she added so much to the tour with her discussions on past history, as well as, current events. I especially liked hearing her stories of what it was like growing up during communism. During the tour I accidentally left my wedding ring at one of the hotels and Eva was instrumental in getting the ring located. I was so impressed with Eva as our tour manager, that I'd schedule my next tour solely based on which one she was managing!

Excellent tour! I look forward to scheduling another and I will most definitely recommend this tour to others.

Beautiful location at Omaha Beach but breakfast area too small when there was two different tour groups. Food and coffee quantity disappointing. Other two hotels food supply was great.

Favorite...lunch spot was perfect.

wonderful and passionate....all of them!

He took great care to observe our wanderings and kept sight of us all when some of us veered off. Very professional and entertaining. Outstanding young man.

Mr. D was an impeccable driver and gracious man. Bus driver in Munich was very good.

Educational and passionate look at the environment our WW2 Soldiers fought in during the Normandy invasion and afterwards. Very sobering look at the cost the Allied Forces took to win the war.

18-day Normandy to Krakow review

On a trip as big as this one was, there were a lot of souvenirs to bring home and I wish we were given a little bit more time and places to shop for that.

Great hotels and great locations, we had a couple w/great views.

Awesome

we got to walk out to the Mulberry barges.

Awesome

we saw a lot that day

I would have like to have visited Malmedy longer, but we had a lot of places to see that day and there wasn't enough time in the day.

Pattons Grave was 1 of many highlights of this Awesome trip

I would have like to have visited the stairway of death, but could only see it from a long way off.

Great hotel view of the Parliament across the Danube

lots of walking

thanks Procom for letting us to go to the nearby salt mines instead of this excursion, our hotel was close enough that we could walk there in the am

The guides were all very knowledgable

the food was different so I had a bit of hard time getting used to other foods. I'm a meat and taters kind of guy.

Rudy was great

Eva was awesome as well. She tried hard to please us all and give us chances to see different things.

Super Bucket list tour

Super Awesome all the way around, thanks Procom

Cassie an Debra patiently, promptly, and pleasantly answered all of my many questions. First-rate support.

Exceptionally well done. However, please provide the option for guests to edit the information they have submitted on their My Trip page. My phone number changed, so I had to contact Debra directly to get that updated. Would be easier for everyone if I could change it myself but I could find no way to do that.

Rudy was terrific. Excellent personality for the job. I'd give him 6 stars if I could.

Seats were quite uncomfortable for the longer rides. Drivers were very skilled.

The whole experience was very well planned, well communicated, and well executed. The right sights were included, because at nearly every stop I felt like I could have spent more time there.

More info on free time

Size of the group. Didn't realize that you combine tours for overlapping.

A bit long. Seeing where ea unit was at time of battle was a bit much. Possibly could have supplied a map with all the locations on it and then go to the high points only.

Same as above

Very nice touch to present a flower arraignment for the Gen. Patton grave site and the Nation Anthem.

To bad it is but a shell of what it was. Tour was an eye opener as it was. Very well done

Again a bit long and could have been done on a smaller bus and more free time.

Outstanding

Some portions were way to much. Perhaps adj price and allow free time in cities so eating in local locations would be an enhansment.

Very educational and being able to see and touch, not just learn

Also very nice

Nice, but not as upscale as the other two. However, more than satisfied.

Very good local tour guide

Couldn't see too much because there was an event being staged and on-going construction blocked most views. Nothing you could control, however.

Changing of the guards was fabulous.

Great way to end the tour

Very knowledgeable, aware of surroundings, repeated all questions so everyone could hear, very outgoing. Don't lose him.

All were top, especially the lunches.

Took care of everyone, and looked out for all. She will be a good mother!

Very approachable.

Didn't seem like we were going very fast. However, very nice.

Seemed the quality declined somewhat as we moved south to Volgograd. But perfectly acceptable.

Oleg gave some good advice/heads-up to the drivers.

Couldn't be more satisfied.

To see Mother Russia up close and personal, is a unique experience--especially for those of us who were Cold War government employees.

11-day Eastern Front review

always helpful, and always quick to answer any and all questions I have

wish we could have seen Lenin's tomb but not the tours fault, due to a military parade being rehearsed

Wonderful food, wish we had some more traditional Russian food, but the ability to order from the menu was good, the food was so much better then it was in the 90's when I was last in Russia

Awsome, so helpful and always checking on to make sure that everyone was ok, very understanding about mobility problems, always made me feel like she was happy I was on the tour

very helpful

I'm beyond pleased with the service provided by Procom, this is my second tour with them and already looking for my next tour. As a single women taking tours like this I have never felt unwelcome with Procom unlike another tour company I have traveled with in the past. Everything form getting information about tours to booking and everything beyond is wonderful.

I was very happy with this tour, we saw places that you wouldn't be able to see if you went on your own, I would highly recommend this tour to all my history buff friends, I didn't know a lot about the Eastern front of WW2 but I didn't feel left behind and I learned so much. Highly recommened

Would prefer more central location

Excellent. Had the answer to every question. Easy to understand. Very interesting to listen to

All breakfasts excellent. Lunches and dinners mostly average. Love included soft drinks, one alcoholic beverage and water on bus. Very nice touch

Excellent. Very organized and detail oriented

Very good to have translater on board

Busses very comfortable

I was very pleased with tour. Even with limited military interest I am glad I went. The information was presented in a way I could learn. It was an interesting group to travel with

11-day Eastern Front review

Procom treats me like royalty.

Good food. Nice room, but it was sooo warm at night. I prefer a cool room for sleeping.

Great room with a huge tub. Room temperature was cool at night. Decent food but the dining room was sooo busy and they hesitated to bring out more food when they ran out. Elevators were really slow.

Nice room. Room temperature at night was ok. And the food was really good!

Worth seeing. Wish the exhibits had had English captions. Could barely understand the guide.

Enjoyed this visit. Guide somewhat easier to understand.

I loved this. Very pleasant cruise. Beautiful city.

Worth seeing, but the guide was very difficult to understand.

Loved this stop. What an amazing story!

A pretty rocky start. A lot of wasted time. Enjoyed the visit. Wish we had had more time. There were more English captions.

Beautiful. Very beautiful. Wish Red Square hadn't been closed.

I liked seeing the tanks, but the tour was much too long.

Not much to see here, but I think it was worth stopping.

Very pleasant city. Could have spent another day here.

Worth stopping for, but not much to see.

WOW!! The most amazing part of the entire tour!!! Breathtaking.

Very enjoyable. So much to see here. The panorama was amazing. English captions would have brought more of the exhibits to life.

So, so. Would have loved to have been able to get inside the factories.

Very pleasant.

Loved him! Absolutely loved him!

Very good. Wished we had had some dinners out in St. Petersburg.

Love this lady! She enjoys her work and it shows.

Victor did a very good job. He was very helpful. Did not seem very comfortable with his English. But that's coming from someone who can only speak English.

A lot of fun. Very comfortable.

It was ok. About as good as any flight I've taken (none of them are much fun.

It was ok. Had trouble hearing some times. A bit warm at times. Would love it if you had some Gatorade on the bus.

I felt very comfortable, safe with their driving.

Second to none!

Overall, it was a wonderful tour. Extremely well planned. Kudos to Charlie, Niki, and Victor! I learned so much. Saw things I only dreamed of ever seeing. We saw a lot in the relatively short time we were there. I see Russia in a different light now. You've got to continue to use Oleg. And his English is excellent.

11-day Eastern Front review

Booking for each of the tours I've taken has been easy

The tour brochure is full of great information and covers in detail the tour itineraries

Beautiful modern hotel, great staff, food was great, if I return some day I'd stay at this hotel again.

Was disappointed with the Hilton, overall room was nice but seemed outdated, bath towels were old and rough, housekeeping didn't replace bath gel, food selection for dinner was limited and ran out just as we started one evening. Traffic nightmare getting to and from hotel on tour days. Would recommend finding a different hotel in Moscow for future tours.

Nice modern hotel, good location, nice staff, and German restaurant was great! If I return to Volgograd I stay at this hotel again.

Good historical museum covering the siege

Place had some great military hardware and other exhibits

Enjoyed seeing the city from the canals.

Good history about the ship

The museum gave great insight to the ice roads!

Very nice, had some great paintings and exhibits

It was a nice day, unfortunate Red Square was closed. Would recommend tour purchase tickets in advance for those who would like to tour the Armory. A few of us tried after lunch only to find out there were limited number of tickets sold each day and were sold out.

WOW!!! So many great tanks!

Nice park

Nice walk after lunch

Nice stop

This was something to see in person!

Great exhibits, the panorama painting was amazing!

Interesting sites

Nice cruise, maybe do this on the arrival day after lunch, and then do the walk to the hotel.

Oleg was a walking historical encyclopedia! He made the tour with his knowledge, I learned a lot from his talks!!

The meals were nice, but maybe try and add something different like an Italian meal or good old hamburger for lunch once or twice. The usual chicken or fish was getting old by day 7.

Niki did a great job!! Handling a group of 28 is like herding cats, Niki kept us informed and on track each day, all with a smile on. Thanks for a great tour!

Victor did a nice job and was helpful when I had a question or needed something. Thanks Victor!

Train ride was nice, but not a lot to see. Maybe look at flying which would provide more time for the Patriotic Museum.

Nice flight

Buses were nice and comfortable

Drivers did a great job getting us around town.

As always Procom delivered a great tour as outlined in the brochure. Already looking forward to a tour next year!

This tour gave me a better understanding of what took place in Russia during the war. As I've told friends, we are all familiar with the U.S. participation in WWII starting in 1943, but to see what took place in Russia starting in 1941 gave me a new perspective of the war. I leaned a lot on this tour! My only recommendation would be to hold the tour a little later, maybe late September early October so It's not so hot, and attractions in Moscow not crowded with school kids and tourists!! :-)

11-day Eastern Front review

Great communication and feedback

Excellent step-by-step instructions and information

Great boutique hotel but tied to international chain so best of both worlds. Friendly service and excellent room and food.

What a neat iconic and historic hotel. Good food and service.

Great location, food and service.

Great local museum

So many cannon, etc...

Great way to see an overview of the area

Such a cool ship; wish we would have had access to a little more of it

Very cool place to visit

Neat collection but we could have used more guidance on what to see and where

Red Square was temporarily closed with a temporary stadium built on the grounds but since it is the 100th anniversary of the revolution I could understand it

Great place; traffic issues caused us to lose some time I wish we could have spent here but out of your control

Nice collection of items

Many different items to see

Very imposing

Amazing

Best panorama I have ever seen

I wish more was preserved and open to the public

Great cruise; I would have liked to do it on our 1st day

Oleg was a top-notch guide

This is my 3rd trip with you all and, after well-over 100 meals (B-L-D) provided I have not had a single bad one yet. Good mixture of local items and standard fare/comfort foods. I gained a few pounds again even with all the walking!

Very caring and on top of things at all times.

Very nice and helpful.

Great train, seats, service, view, etc...

Decent flight

Coaches all had A/C and bottled water. Trip did not lend itself to using the same coach each time which was a drawback.

Good drivers

Top-notch from beginning to end

A great look both at WWII in Russia but also behind the scenes a bit about the ongoing changes in their country. There casualty numbers in WWII were staggering, but being there in person really brought that point home. The trip is something we all should do and experience first hand.

Niki is a real asset to your company. She helped me so much, and really wanted me to be able to join the trip when my plane was delayed.

Good advice about getting Russian VISA, referral to travel agent was helpful.

Beautiful, good location, great food.

Less convenient for walking in downtown, but close to rail line. Beautiful inside and good food.

Very nice hotel, clean and the food was delicious. Good location.

Missed this museum

Alot to see and I enjoyed the extra exhibits.

Gorgeous day and a good way to see St. Petersburg.

Very well done.

Very nice museum, but many areas were not accessible for people with walkers/wheelchairs.

Very interesting despite huge crowds. Free time was good.

Interesting to see so many prototype vehicles.

A very different city from the others, so it was valuable to learn about its importance.

Amazing and beautiful memorial park.

Panorama Museum was very good with interesting displays.

Always enjoy the river cruises.

Excellent guide, both in his WWII knowledge and also history of Russia. Personable and easy to talk with. Really increased my knowledge of Russia.

Great food, especially the more local places where we could have traditional Russia style food.

Organized, always cheerful, handled a large group easily. Went out of her way to help me with flight problems. Could not believe this was her first trip to Russia.

Worked very well with Niki to provide a good, organized trip. Enjoyed his perspective on Russian things and he helped me with some language questions.

Went smoothly.

East trip.

Comfortable.

Did their best despite awful traffic and very small streets in Volgograd.

Always five star in my opinion.

I learned a great deal about Russian history, the people, and life before and after the breakup of the USSR. This was in addition to a solid program of WWII information. I have recommended your tour to many people, and I am confident that your company always provides excellent service. I knew that if I ever went to Russia that I could trust BBOB. I am very grateful to your company for all my European experiences.

11-day Eastern Front review

If you know about the siege, the information is a little too basic. Wished the guide had spent more time on what's in the collection, rather than just telling the story of the siege.

Way too much time spent here. Better spent across the street at the Peter and Paul Fortress.

Maybe the best thing we did in St. Petersburg.

Didn't go to this.

Worth the trip. We should have left earlier in the morning and gotten back sooner. The stop at the Children's Memorial didn't add a lot.

Disappointing. A great memorial, but the museum didn't have an organizing theme and just appeared to be a bunch of stuff in display cases. We spent way too much time outside looking at the vehicles, planes, ships, and mock fortifications.

Fabulous. Best part of Moscow. Not sure why we didn't go in to St. Basil's. Glad we went on the subway a few times.

Overrated. The tank collection, as far as WW II tanks go, is lacking. Wishing we had more history of things that happened on the Moscow-Minsk highway (Napoleon, 1941 offensive, etc.) and maybe stopped at some other places rather than all morning in the museum. Also, we should have left earlier to beat the traffic and to get more in during the day.

It isn't really the closest German approach. Took way too long to get to, and way too long to get back to hotel. Basically, just a couple more tanks and artillery pieces, and we've already seen enough of those.

Feeling like we saw most of the important sights. Wished we had driven out to Kalach or had at least gone out to see the steppe on the ground.

It's a must stop, but not a lot to see. I wish we had been able to stop somewhere to get a look at Tsaritsyn Gorge. It was a very important feature and was the German boundary between armies. Would have liked to have a better look rather than just going over the bridge.

Maybe the best war memorial I've seen. A must stop and worth all the time we spent there.

Best museum on the trip. The museum guide was great. Saw a lot of neat items in the collection. The flour mill is must see, and this led to a pleasant walk back to the hotel.

We had to go these places, although just being on the banks of the Volga in this area was more important than seeing the rebuilt factory exteriors.

Cruise was interesting, but wished we could have approached the eastern bank more to get an appreciation on the width of the river (the islands are in the way.).

Oleg is the best. MVP. Not just about the sights, but about Russian life and history in general. He made the trip.

Niki kept things under control and somehow kept a sunny, positive attitude the whole time!

Victor is a gentlemen and a great guy, but he needs to be more assertive with the group.

The train experience was fun, including the stations.

I liked Aeroflot and thought the service was reasonably good.

Can we find a way to keep the water cold? A cooler, perhaps?

The tour was excellent. We saw a lot of places during a fairly quick tour. I think we should have had a guided tour of the Hermitage and a look inside St. Basil's. Also, more about the Minsk-Moscow highway and a drive out into the steppe would have been nice. Overall, a well-organized, worthwhile trip.

La Citadelle lacked working air conditioning and usable electrical outlets. The other hotels were very nice.

5 plus - a unique experience

Iain McHenry was especially outstanding and generous with his time and knowledge

The meals were generally very good. This only issue was the wait times for some.

Charlie was great. Very much appreciated his attention to details and making sure everyone was comfortable.

I don't know how he did it. Very talented driver.

This tour was an outstanding "once in a lifetime" experience. The expert guides/historians were outstanding and provided unique insights into the various battles and events of World War 1. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in the history of World War 1.

Amiens hotel minimum room amenities. Metz - the rooms were too warm for comfortable sleep. I found much of the staff to be abrupt and poorly mannered

Ceremony at the cemetery was a highlight

WOW! Two absolutely superb guides and historians. Brilliant!

Too much food. I suggest that you discontinue the elaborate lunches. They were very time consuming, once taking all of two hours. Several of the restaurants had difficulty accommodating our large group in an efficient manner. At times, there was more than a 30 minute delay between courses.Every fellow traveler that I spoke with agreed. Please consider preparing a simple box luch - a sandwich and snack or perhaps give the tour members 45 minute to grab a snack at a local place. The cost is not a factor but the length of time, delays and overload of food made dining the least enjoyable part of the tour.

"Above and beyond the call of duty." Charlie is a PRO. Special thanks for arranging a last minute memorial ceremony for the group at a cemetery. We were in good hands with Charlie.

Wifi was undependable. perhaps it was often the fault of poor reception but I suspect the system is not very good.

Superb. I would recommend the tour as the best manner in which to gain an appreciation of all things WWI. The war that was fought without a reason, using American Civil War Infantry tactics with modern weapons.

Perhaps a short note or brochure on each stop although these were available at most stops.

Only problem was with the AC at the Hotel La Citadelle. Not your fault though.

Would like to have seen where the Lost Battalion fought. Perhaps also where Sgt. York as awarded his MOH.

All were excellent, professional, and knowledgeable.

Meals were very good but I would prefer a smaller and shorter lunch period and more time to tour.

Charles did an excellent job. Enough said could not ask for a better guide.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

I appreciated the friendly and prompt responses to my questions and requests.

It was very comprehensive and easy to digest.

weather was great in each location, but lack of a/c in Bastogne could have been a problem if it had been warm at night.

A wonderful / knowledgeable team. They had answers to all of my many questions and went out their way to make our trip memorable. We could tell that they loved their jobs. They are all treasures.

Great variation in menus. I would have liked to eat in more locations, but the food was great.

Robert was very conscientious and attentive to our needs and safety. He really seemed to care that we had a great time. I tend to walk around with my mouth hanging open in amazement, not paying attention to everything that I should. Robert looked out for me and the others. However, this fine review would have been for naught if he would have let my luggage be mistakenly removed from the bus at CDG on our interim stop. He really saved the day by being observant. He even turned out to be a good guide for our final day in Normandy.

I'm spoiled and would request better internet. Everything else was great with the coach and our outstanding driver.

This was a great tour.

This tour greatly exceeded my expectations. We were kept busy, but it proceeded at a good pace. Each of out guides was outstanding. It was a joy traveling with fellow Americans and with such accommodating hosts, on a wonderful itinerary.

Accommodations were excellent.

I felt she did an excellent job of keeping us informed and on schedule in a very likable manner.

I have nothing to complain about.

I would consider it a fairly intense seven days covering some important places in the history of WW-II. I think eating the noon and evening meal on your own allowed some flexibility in schedule that allowed individuals so desiring to see more.

11-day Fields of World War I review

Locations were all excellent. Breakfasts were best (in order) Ypres, CDG, Amiens, Metz. Other observations of the rooms are uncorrectable (poor and insufficient electric plugs, spotty a/c, etc) so I will decline to complain.

this was a WWII site so it doesn't "fit" into the WWI itinerary. There are other WWI sites and museums to visit without resorting to the availability of a WWII substitute.

although this was technically not a WWI stop, there is value in seeing the Cathedral.

Both guides were outstanding. They were the highpoint of the tour. I would suggest that "Band" provide a map of the areas to be explored, either by the day or by the guide. The large "Band" map provided was not helpful. I expected a map that I could use every day to track my location especially with a reference to the WWI operation(s) discussed. I purchased a commercial French WWI map late in the tour which was helpful to get me oriented.

I enjoyed the quality of the meals. I did not enjoy the 2 hours for lunch. I would sacrifice quality for more time on the ground. If I wanted gourmet food I would book a tour of gourmet food locations. With "Band" I expected to maximize the time "on the ground" spent in a museum, cemetery, memorial, or battle position. Several co-travelers complained about the size of the meals, they were a fine size to me. My objection is to the daily long lunch time and losing exploration time.

Charlie was outstanding. He took great care of all of us. He supported very well the one member of the group who had to depart early due to a family emergency.

Excellent and skilled driver. Always on time and he had the bus clean and ready to go.

This was an excellent tour for an exposure to the significance, tactics, weapons, and soldier sacrifices of WWI. More refinements of the itinerary to maximize the experience (not the food) would improve the product. The tour is an excellent exposure to a war that sadly, is somewhat overlooked by Americans.

A map of where we were going. Nt just a map, but a map with the travel routes already highlighted

Metz : For an upscale hotel I found a lot of inconvenience items. No courtesy water (no big thing but a expensive hotel should offer that. WIFI was awkward. Diner service could have been more friendly. Heat and AC did not seem to work.

This was awesome

Both were Awesome. It was good to have two different guides of awesome caliber. Gives a different perspective.

We spent too much time and too much money on lunches. I was there to see WWI and tour. We spent 2+ hours sometimes on 3 course lunches ... all we needed was a light lunch .. a box lunch on the bus would have been just fine. I found myself wasting a lot of food because we ate too much.

He was most concerned about getting to right and he did !!

Great tour, hit the right spots with the right amount of detail.

Although it was a "budget" tour, the hotels were more than budget quality. No complaints here!

Steven was a first-rate resource for this and for Dachau!

All the local guides were extraordinary! The only complaint was that at Angoville we were told that an old woman named Genevieve had witnessed the events there as a child, she said nothing beyond a mere hello. It would have been very interesting to have been able to have some kind of conversation with her.

Rudy is a delightful young man!! He is not only extremely intelligent and knowledgable, but his temperament is perfect for dealing with a fairly large group of people ranging in age from 16 to 70+!! I thought he was great.

The coach was extremely comfortable and modern. Our driver, Charley, was superb--a very skillful and competent driver. I felt absolutely safe in his capable hands.

The tour more than satisfied my expectations. I would recommend it because of the tour manager, the itinerary and the price. I generally don't like tours--but I sure as hell liked this one!!

Outstanding!!!! She was absolutely amazing! I am a flight Attendant & have flown for 38 yrs!!! Camille is a natural & is gifted at dealing with people....we had a couple of difficult guests who were ridiculous & she was incredible in her diplomacy when dealing with them......one guy was a complete jerk!!!!!! Camille could not of been more professional! Total admiration for her demeanor & diplomacy!

Peter was absolutely amazing & talented!

The tour is exceptional & the historical guides were very knowledgeable! It was truly a fabulous trip!

The meeting point at the airport was a bit confusing

Felt rushed at the American Cemetery...would have liked more time there

Would have liked more time there.

Wanted to see the other half of the camp...Don't know if that's even possible

Rudy in Normandy was GREAT!!! Best guide of the trip. He really brought the history to life

Our driver Charlie was top notch! He went places with that bus where I didn't think was possible.

Great tour! The free time seemed a little to much. Went to all the places I wanted to see and the German Cemetery was great to see the war from both sides.

Quick and effortless.

Third Reich tour very interesting

Lots of information. Sometimes get to be overwhelming.

Rudy was fantastic. Tour coordination excellent. Rudy was knowledgeable about the area and what we were to do. We appreciated his guidance as far as the order to visit sites to make the best use of our time. Very much enjoyed the tour with him.

Great tour. Yes would highly recommend. We did like the option to get our own meals during the day/evening instead of organized meals.

I loved meeting the man at Brecourt Manor

It was great seeing Jack lay the wreath at Patton's grave.

Interesting, but for the fog. No one can control the weather.

I liked Steve's commentary in Dachau, but didn't feel I gained all that much in the walking tour.

Rudy was most helpful to all the members of the tour. When anyone asked for information he gave it to them or found out for them. He was very patient with everyone.

Everything was comfortable and Rudy and Charlie worked smoothly together.

I found the tour added to my knowledge and I especially liked the times with local guide Rudy that we visited with local people. I liked Rudy's enthusiasm for the soldiers and residents. In addition to seeing the famous sites, I also gained understanding of what happened during the German occupation of countries.

Rooms were usually too warm for me. The ability to control the temperature was restricted.

I wish we could have spent more time here. More to see.

Maybe a little less time here and more at Pointe du Hoc

They were all very knowledgeable and included many interesting stories of individuals that you never have heard before.

First class bus and Peter is a master at the wheel !

I enjoyed every minute of the tour. As I said previously, maybe more time at Pointe du Hoc and less at the American Cemetery. This tour has AWESOME bang for your buck.

room was very small on Omaha Beach.Could not walk round the bed when the desk chair was pulled out. Would be willing to pay a little more for a larger room. The hotel was very nice overall.

Great stop. Would have liked to have a little more time there to see the shops on the way back.

very interesting and provided great information

meals were very good and gave us a sampling of local cuisine. I would have liked to have a couple dinners on the way back to the hotel rather than having most meals at the hotels.

Rudy did all he could to make the tour interesting and meaningful. He knew so much about the places we visited. He did a great job of keeping us on a schedule!

The coach was comfortable. Since our group was small, we had room to spread out. Charlie is an amazing driver. We couldn't believe some of the tight spots he was able to get through.

I thought the tour was very good. I am not a WWII buff, attended because my husband was so interested in going. I learned a lot and enjoyed seeing all the areas we visited. The museums were amazing. This trip was far more than I ever expected. All the tour guides were so well prepared and presented complete information. We had so many meaningful stops.

Niki Montgomery was awesome!

If anything Procom provided too much info, had to filter what was most important for me.

Primary issue with most European hotels is that the rooms are stuffy. A fan in each room would have been helpful.

Only because it was cloudy.

Guides were excellent & knowledgeable...Munich guide seemed a bit anti American?

Camille is a fantastic guide! possesses great people skills which are absolutely required when dealing with such a diverse group of folks. I hope I get Camille on my next tour!

Nice bus but, some of the days are a little too long in my opinion to be cooped up in such close quarters with 40 other people.

Very interesting. We found the church to be very interesting.

Very good

Didn't have enough time to see it all. To much free time and would have liked to spend to spend more time in the museum.

It was very moving to have a WWII vet lay the wreath on Patton's grave.

The walking tour was great. To much free time for us.

Only because it was very foggy that day. The documentation center would have been more interesting if we were given papers of translation in English.

11-day Normandy to the Bulge review

Our travel consultant was nothing less than fantastic

Very, very satisfied.

Hotel room in Omaha beach was cramped and there were very few electrical outlets. Bastogne hotel was great. Had some trouble checking in in Frankfurt, and had only one wait staff for our dinner there making the service slow. Our waitstaff person made the best of a bad situation. The showers in Europe are not to my liking, but that is not limited to our hotels.

Top rate.

Lunch there was great in a fantastic location.

Fantastic tour guide

Could have used a little more time.

Special guest made it memorable

Our Bastogne special guest made this tour memorable as well.

Wreath laying made it a very, very special event.

Rudy is very, very knowledgeable and passionate guide. Henri was also knowledgeable and had first hand knowledge of events which made it so interesting and, in fact, emotional.

Meals were very good and the variety was fantastic. Only had one main dish which I was not fond of.

Rudy did an excellent job with our group. He was always pleasant and helpful. His tour leading experience was very visible. Charlie is a great bus drive and navigated us through narrow crowded streets and roads with great skill.

Having 16 tour members on a 55 passenger bus was special. In addition, that Mercedes coach was top rate. As I said before, Charlie did a fantastic job.

Top of the line all the way.

Was an interesting and frankly emotional tour. I would highly recommend it to all those interested in WWII history. It was very meaningful experience to be at the locations I had read extensively about with a group of like minded people and great tour leaders.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Everything was very smooth and helpful

once again, no issues. Everything was laid out well

All three met and exceeded my expectations

I could have done with a little less time here and more time in Bastogne, maybe 2 hours or so of free time to roam around Bastogne. I made it to the 101st museum when we had about an hour after lunch, but I could have spent more time in that museum. It's fantastic

A little crowded and busy and I would have liked time in Bertchesgaden

I couldn't imagine having tour guides with more knowledge than the 3 guides we had. I will treasure and value the information I gathered from all 3 of them and I truly hope that I will have the opportunity to meet up with them again

I ate too much, now I have to work it off. It was all fabulous and you couldn't have planned any better meals. I wouldn't change a thing.

Camille was so friendly and helpful and I enjoyed the entire time with her. For being so young, she definitely has incredible knowledge of the places and events that were covered during the tour. I could only hope that when I do the tour again that my next tour guide does as good of a job as Camille. Thank you

Peter was an excellent driver and I appreciate his safe driving and knowledge of where he was going. He too was a lot of fun to be around.

I'll do it again hopefully within the next 5 years. My son is really wanting to go.

I have already recommended the tour to several people that I have talked to since I returned. I have nothing but positive comments about the entire operation

11-day Third Reich review

Steve is a great local guide.

Disappointed that the courtroom was not open, but that was not the fault of Procom.

Excellent

Love the city of Hamburg

Jutta in Hamburg seemed unprepared and in once case when we went to the Flak Tower, it was apparent that she had not prepared for our visit and she seemed to make things up as we went along. I think the sentiment as far as she is concerned was universally the same amount the group.

I think I may have said this last year as well, but it would be better to have more options for each meal. In addition, if someone wants to upgrade their meal at an additional cost, it should be acceptable without any question.

Both Peter and Jonas were phenomenal and a joy to be around.

Eva was fantastic. She had a wonderful sense of humor, very knowledgeable, very attentive to the groups needs. She enhanced the experience a great deal.

The only thing that I would change is to hold to the schedule regarding free time as much as possible, as well as to review the amount of time spent in certain places like the Eagles Nest. We had little time to enjoy the top of the mountain.

Phenomenal place. There was SO much to see there! I loved it!!

Each restaurant was great! I liked the options and the bit of culture in them!

Robert was terrific! We thoroughly enjoyed his expertise! He was very professional and mature!

Anyone that can navigate the traffic and streets of London in a motor coach bus deserves a bonus. Well done!

The tour was well done. Perhaps another 1-2 days could be added so more time could have been spent in central London and would have been nice to see one of the old abandoned US bomber bases near Duxford. I know this trip was previously 7 days in past years. I opted to stay over 2 extra days on my own.

Christophe Raufe (sp?) was absolutely phenomenal! So much information from many sources and open to conversation too.

Great variety and quality. Especially liked the meal at Omaha beach hotel.

I was a bit skeptical to be on a large tour, as this was my first, but Robert was beyond excellent in every way- personable, a great manger of people and time (not every tour participant is easy to deal with but the group never saw anything but the best of Robert.)

Clean, top level manager, accommodations, food and guides. I generally travel at 5 star hotels and hope for the best service and food and Beyond Band of Brothers met and exceeded my expectations!

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Great work by all.

Kept the information flowing

It would be sad to loose any of these guides.

Ate way too much but did not gain weight.

Knew how to handle the group. Easy to work with.

Peter was great

Great tour. Would like to see a little more free time but there was a lot of places to cram in so I understand.

12-day Two World Wars review

The hotels were very comfortable, clean, and safe. They had all of the amenities needed, and were in great locations for our needs.

While this was interesting, it didn't really seem to fit into a WWI & WWII trip.

This was the most beautiful and moving experience of the trip. And our local tour guide, Rudy, was an amazing wealth of knowledge and personality.

The entire time in Normandy was outstanding.

Beautiful but so crowded.

Our guides did a great job. My only "criticism" of Jeanne in the Holland museum was that she didn't want us to wander off and look at things that interested us. She wanted us right in front of her listening to her story of everything. While that is OK, that didn't leave us any chance to see other items that were of more interest to us personally. She literally came and rounded us "roamers" up to get us back in front of her. We were usually just a few meters away from her, but she didn't allow that! Rudy was by far the best, most interesting with facts, and he was also great with the 13 year old boy who was on our tour. He really made that young guy feel included and special that day.

Great food and a LOT of it!

The small bus we had was great for some of the narrow roads, but the seats were NOT comfortable on those long travel days. Also we had WIFI troubles on a couple of those long days. And when the WIFI did work, it would only let you on it for about 15 minutes, then you'd get bumped off for being out of data for the day. It was nice having the DVD and movies on the long travel days, but not sure how well the people in the back of bus could see the screen.

This was our first ever multiple day tour. Everything went really well. If there was any type of hiccup, our tour manager, Rudy, handled it with ease. There was never any issue with that. At museums we had entrance tickets and avoided long lines. Our local tour guides shared so much with us that we would never have known if we'd traveled by ourselves. It was a smallish group that got along great. We all learned quite a bit while enjoying the sights of many beautiful European cities. Kudos to everyone at Procom. We're already looking through the book for potential next trips!

Rudy was an amazing guide and from what I have heard procom was very easy to book with.

Rudy was great and all of the local guides were great and the information was sometimes a bit over whelming due to the amount of information coming at you so fast.

Rudy was an amazing guide and I would tour with him again. this was the best trip in my life.

it was so very interesting and I learned so much on the tour. if you are looking for a history tour with some amazing sightseeing thrown in this is definitely the tour for that.

5-day Normandy Invasion review

The Hotel Mercure was very nice. The breakfasts and dinners were very good and service was excellent. I enjoyed the Espresso in the mornings. I am very short, therefore the bathroom mirror was positioned too high for me to see to put on makeup. This was not a problem for most people I am sure. Also, the tub/shower was high making it difficult to get in and out of the shower. This was not a problem for me but I could see how it would be for others. Our room #6 was the first room on the right behind the desk. The lounge was nearby and there were several noisy groups late into the night enjoying themselves. At one point my husband went out into the lobby area in his shorts and asked for them to be quiet. I would not recommend this getting #6 for this reason. The grounds and service at the hotel were very nice.

Rudy was an excellent guide. He was full of interesting facts as well as being quite funny.

All meals were very good. The only negative would be that the pork chop on the final night was a little tough. Service was great.

Robert did a wonderful job keeping us all together and informed. It is quite a job to keep 29 adults in line. Robert was also very well informed. I can tell that he has done his homework.

Charlie amazed me how he could maneuver the bus in tight places and he was always careful.

Excellent. I have recommend this tour to others I know that are interested in a comprehensive D-Day tour. There are others but this is by far the most well run.

12-day Two World Wars review

Nikki Montgomery was very helpful

Excellent choice of hotels - all very well placed in the city

thought the first tour of the site was better

Unfortunately the guide had a difficult accent and spoke too fast

all very good especially the gardens

The guide on the WWI sites was excellent - all three days

Been there before and thought the gentleman docent was very good this time

outstanding tour guide despite the heavy rain

the fact that we had tickets in advance was a real plus for the tour group otherwise a very, very long wait. congrats to Procom!!

Each of the guides was knowledgeable and fun. Excellent choices except for Ange in Paris who was adequate, but not up to Procom standards.

I would rate the meals even better than last tour. The meals were outstanding!! The selection and choices could not have been better. Procom has set a very high standard for meals on the tours that may be very hard to match by other tour groups.

very comfortable coach. adequate stops for breaks and the driver was outstanding.

Service and cost of the tour cannot be beat!! I highly recommend this tour or my previous tour as of very high quality and an extraordinary bargain given what you receive and the cost of travel today. Great hotels, outstanding meals and no expense was spared even when things came up for which there were extra expenses. For example, the Gardens of Versailles were an extra cost to Procom, but without hesitation, Rudy paid the extra fee because the Gardens were extra on Saturday. That to me was the kind of extraordinary service that Procom provides.

Best value in travel!

excellant

very satisfied

out of the 3 hotels, the Hyatt was the best. food was good. bar was good. nice large room and excellent staff.

not enough time to view the entire museum

lots of info given. walking should have been slower.

enjoyed Harpers Ferry. Great guide.

Very good. Great guide.

Bull Run sounded one sided at times. All in all good.

Loved it.

Way to much walking. S/B less than 1 hour.

Excellent.

Very moving. Learned alot.

Amazing.

A little hot, but loved every minute of it.

Enjoyed.

Interesting but depressing

Too much walking. we skipped it.

Excellent

Very good. But very hot to do extensive walking.

Great

Should have had trolleys for the group. Too long of a walk.

Very knowledgeable, but needed roller skates to keep up with him.

great job

great job

her first time. did awesome.

the best

great job...a bit too long winded.

knew his stuff..but went fast and pushed his book too often

hotel food was good. bus boxed lunches were a bit uncomfortable to eat without a fold down try. restaurant meals excellent.

great job and informed. they took good care of us and always available to call if needed.

Bus needed eating trays and or cup holders. and more leg room. the driver had tough traffic situations which caused alot of stop and go. he was very personable.

very satisfied

Being my first tour, I would recommend it because of what I learned, how I was treated and excellent guides.

5-day Normandy Invasion review

Loved the my trip page everything was in 1 spot

would have been nice to stay in town, but after long days out it was nice to come back to a very quiet location. Hotel was great

unreal the amount of info but at times maybe went on a little to long

never ate so well. I am a very plain and picky eater and was a little worried about the food before the trip but everything was perfect. Cannot believe how good everything was at each meal

she was very much on top of everything. When the pick up bus was going to be a minute late she called to make sure I did not panic (great touch), when i emailed her a question 1 night after we got back could not believe how fast she got back to me. Kept the group together, moving, informed without being pushy. Great job

Bus was always clean and well stocked with water. wifi worked great and cannot believe how he was able to drive and park that bus along those narrow streets

The tour was great and I already have told others about it and recommended it

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers R&R review

Hotel Mercure had small room and bath, but great setting.

The short, unplanned side trip to the Bois-Jacque foxholes of Easy Company was the highlight of the trip!! Thanks RUDY!!!

Christophe was UNBELIEVEABLE!!! So much information. Vincent was good, just hard to understand sometimes.

Food was fantastic, except for burgers. I guess European chefs do not know what "medium", "medium-well", or "well done" mean.

Rudy needs at least 10 stars!!!! By the way, Rudy, the beer you helped us choose for my son is sold here too! LOL He loved it! Thanks!!!

Our driver was amazing! I still don't know how he did that all with that big bus.

Great plan, great time and too much fun!! Thanks!!!

Rudy got us in the right places at the right times to miss the crowds. Restaurants and food were fantastic. Free time was more than enough, and hotels were comfortable. Would do it again in a heartbeat if we didn't have to fly 10 hours to get there. I would recommend Procom for this kind of tour.

9-day American Civil War Tour - A Nation Tested review

Niki is great!

Satisfied but there were some minor changes from the advance itinerary we were provided. We assumed since this was the first time out on this tour it was merely some debugging.

Hard to see it all with the time allocated but what we did see was great.

Three stars only because of the guide

Really a lot to learn there. The guide was a little choppy but very informative!

Great guide.

Liked the guide

Fun spot. The guy that took us through was a great story teller.

The circular painting / theater was stunning!

Gar, our guide, was far in away our favorite guide. He whetted the appetite to learn more.

Very patriotic and historically interesting. The displays and information booths were terrific.

Battle of the crater and Terence warfare was the highlight. Really good guide.

The White House of the Confederacy was very interesting.

The guide seemed more interested in talking about himself.

A little choppy but very informative

Stunning!

He seemed more interested in talking about himself. Arlington could not have been diminished even by Jim.

Dual exit doors would have made a big difference but Niki explained they basically don't exist there. Seatback pockets for storage and tray tables for lunch would have been huge. The driver's technique was concerning. On the gas, on the brake, on the gas, on the brake, tailgating. It appears the man across from us was getting motion sickness. On a positive, the driver was really good in tight spaces for sure.

Really good. I never give 5 stars on a question like this because I always think there is room for improvement. Plus, if you sold T-shirts I could go 4-3/4 stars!

Terrific. I would recommend your tour because you work so hard trying to improve. It shows.

Outstanding customer service. So nice to talk with.

Your ' My Trip Link ' was incredible. I have never experienced a company that included so much helpful information that prepared me for a trip. Getting to read about the other folks that were going on the tour was an awesome bonus.

Really enjoyed the warm welcome we received on our arrival to all of the hotels! Very clean and spacious rooms. I was so overjoyed that the hotels were so quiet.

They were both the most knowledgeable, polite, dear tour managers I have EVER had on any trip I have ever taken. They were always willing to answer any question, and, they always made sure myself, and all of the other folks on the tour, were enjoying themselves.

He always got us to our daily tour destinations on time ( 5 Stars ). The only comment to give him a 4 star rating was that he seemed to always hit the brake a little harder than needed, therefore, causing a jerk forward in our seats, and some things to fall on the coach floor.

Extraordinary!

Procom is the most professional company I have ever traveled with. You get exactly what you pay for. You really care that everyone on your tour will receive the best possible experience. You have impeccable planning, and all anyone needs to do is enjoy yourself, with all that the tour offers.

9-day American Civil War Tour - A Nation Tested review

Starting to sound like a broken record, but Niki and her team have always given me honest, straightforward answers to my questions.

Wish the Hyatt Arlington hotel had had a pool.

Needed more time to visit here.

So much to see. So much history. Loved the walk.

Would have preferred to walk the town as the story unfolded instead of sitting in the firehouse.

Seeing the setting for this battle was very interesting, but it was hard to keep up with all the attacks. Needed more visual aids.

Same comments as the Antietam National Battlefield.

I love Jennie's story in the midst of all the death and destruction.

This was fun. But I would have preferred to do something else.

The 360-degree painting was a really neat highlight of this stop.

To me the story of the battle for Little Round Top and the heroics of Chamberlain's men tells you about all you need to know about what happened at the Battle of Gettysburg.

This was interesting to see, but I would have preferred to see ground troops do battle. Really enjoyed what we heard and saw at the tent exhibits.

So, so.

Wow! The story of the crater and the building and use of the trenches was a highlight of this tour.

Another great stop. The part I enjoyed most was visiting the small cemetery at the top of the hill. Some very interesting stories.

Too much walking to see so little.

Six stars!! What can I say? I'm retired Air Force. Beautiful memorial.

This was interesting, but way too much walking.

Great meal stops. Especially liked the restaurant in Gettysburg.

Would have preferred a driver with some personality, but his job is to safely take us from point to point. And that he did.

Excellent. Love the company. Love the people. Hope to take many more tours with them.

I love the story of the American Civil War. Very hard to believe this was took place in the United States. Procom did an admirable job of painting a complete picture of the war. During the long bus rides I would have liked to hear more of the history leading up to the war. Starting with the creation of the Constitution.

Love Cassie Scales!!!

Wish we had had more time

Excellent

More time with more maps, less photos of generals

More maps and less photos. Needed more info on 2nd Manassas

It was entertaining and more historical but the guide was good

A truly hallowed place!!!

Great place. Not much on Culp's Hill and Spangler's Spring

Interesting but could have been skipped

Needed more time

Too bad no photos in White House

More time to see more VIP grave sites

Spent too much time on his resume. :)

Difficult to hear

This guy was the best with a good sense of humor

Same as above and too rushed

Excellent food. Still looking for Caesar salad, okra, and decent grits

Debra did a good job overall. But, at times, she seemed more interested in time rather than letting group view items.

Driver did a great job working through heavy traffic

I think this tour should be longer - perhaps 11 days. We were left hanging on too many sites because of time.

Didn't live up to my expectations.

Great guide.

Very worthwhile stop.

Not long enough. I would have liked more stops for photos(Lee & Meade hdqrs, Devil's Den,etc. Guide was very good however.

This most certainly did not live up to my expectations. I expected hundreds of re-enactors on the field with more artillery.

For me, this was the real highlight of the trip. Getting to meet some of the behind the scenes folks that make these tours possible.

It's a bus. What are you going to do? I missed the second exit available on my Normandy trip.

This is a fabulous trip for anyone interested in civil war history with a big added bonus of Washington DC highlights.

They were wonderful to work with.

Great rooms and the service was awesome!

It was fantastic that the guides were able to meet my request to visit La Fiere bridge! Great service.

The Canadian guide was awesome!

I enjoyed how the guide, Robert , was able to arrange for us veterans to do a wreath laying ceremony!

So amazing to see how close the different sights were together.

They were all very knowledgeable and helpful with every question. It was a true pleasure.

Very delicious, and plentiful!

Robert was FANTASTIC!!! We was funny, organized, informative, and super friendly all the time!

Charlie is super skilled! As someone who has driven semi trucks for 36 years, I was impressed with his skill at maneuvering that bus in some really tight spots. Charlie was always friendly and helpful.

The whole experience was very pleasurable from signing up too the whole trip experience. I will highly recommend your tours to my friends!

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Ability to provide me information and aided in paying in payments. They provided a travel agent that understood their travel arrangements.

All hotels were great better than I had expected. The rooms were very comfortable and internet worked great at all locations.

They were very knowledgeable and always provided great background information to sites that we were visiting.

Food was excellent and provided opportunities to try new meals. Loved the variety and was never the same. Loved being able to have opportunities to try the wide varieties of wine and beer.

Always worked to find ways to work out problems and ensured that everything was ran smoothly.

Very professional and organized it provided a great flow to the tour. It made it all come together with the events of the war. I would recommend people to the tour due to the great sites, opportunities to see great sites, food, and hotels.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

I spoke with Deborah on quite a few OK Asians and she was more than helpful in every way possible.

I would have liked a little more detail about exact places and times I would be able to shop for souvenirs. Due to the days of our trip we were in Munich and Bastogne during a weekend and the shops were all closed. I would really like to have bought more souvenirs.

We thoroughly enjoyed being at Utah Beach. Robert and Rudy and the driver Charlie were very educated in their positions, and we were given tons of information that we never knew. But it was not too much information to take in, it was an awesome site.

While visiting Omaha beach we had an awesome lunch, Robert and Rudy again were very knowledgeable. Our driver Charlie was exceptional in navigating. I would recommend Procom tours to all of my friends.

We were given an awesome time at Juno Beach, we even met a visiting veteran from Gold Beach who was there taking the tour. It was very emotional for him and for myself as a disabled veteran. We could not have asked for a better time and more thorough information. We had plenty of time to see the sights.

We really enjoyed the Pegasus bridge memorial, I have seen movies about this particular raid and to get accurate information and see the site was very moving.

Well at the battlefield tour I actually stood in a foxhole where I am certain someone died, I actually know the names on the memorial for those that died in the forest outside of Foy. So being a combat veteran combined with knowing those names and standing in that foxhole was very emotional for me. I was touched in a way I don't think I will ever be touched again. This part of the tour meant more to me than I can explain in a few words.

Riding around with Henry giving us accurate account of the battle and separate individual skirmishes throughout the battle of the bulge was very enlightening. There were so much more going on then I actually knew and I was very delighted to learn as much as I did from him.

I have been looking at this museum on its website and Google earth for the last two years and to be there in person was no comparison. For me it is a very how loud place.

At the Luxembourg American cemetery Robert set up a wreath laying ceremony for myself and the other three veterans on the tour. I'm sure in my wife's pictures she got close-ups of my tears. To know that something solemn happened to me in that cemetery where General Patton is buried is something I will keep with me the rest of my life.

We learned so much about the atrocities and the real purpose the camp was built from Henry.

We really enjoyed walking around with a German interpreter Robert going to all of the important Nazi places in Munich. As I said it would have been a little nicer to have a little more time to shop and a little less time writing six hours on a bus to get there.

The day we went to the Eaglesnest in tailed more sites then we thought we would see. Everything we learned and all the sites we seen were more than we could have hoped for. Again it would have been nice to have a little more time for souvenir shopping.

Henry spoke a little fast and Robert walked a little fast but other than that they were very thorough and very good at what they do. I really enjoyed the tour guides.

I ate so much different types of food that I do not usually eat and as far as I'm concerned most of it was great. There was one place that had escargot but it was not served properly so I did not even try to eat it. It was cold. But everything else was amazing.

Our tour manager had an answer for every question and if he did not have the answer readily he found out ASAP. He tended to our every need and we did not have to bother with the hotel service at all. He made sure to give us plenty of information about where we needed to be and when and for how long. He has a great sense of humor and is a very good young man, he is very good at his job. One night he even hung out with us as we walked through Bastogne. So he did not feel like he was management and we were customers he was just one of us and that was very good on his part as being friendly with his tour group.

On the website it gives the impression that every passenger will be able to charge his or her own device, so it was just a little disconcerting to find out everyone had to share three plugs. The air could have been a little better but overall we were very comfortable. As far as our driver Charlie I cannot say enough positive things about him. We felt safe the whole time we were driving with him, he took that bus places I could not get my car and he did it safely. Because of his driving we did not have to walk as far as some other coaches that we were sure their drivers could not get where Charlie did. He ate at the tables with the rest of us and did not act like an outsider or just another employee, he had an awesome sense of humor and I highly recommend him and his services.

I can only say that I thought the services were very professional, I will definitely feel good about recommending Pro come tours. From the moment I booked the tour until Robert ordered us a cab to leave the hotel in the early morning hours I was truly satisfied.

My impression is that this is a very well thought out and informative tour of a World War II invasion and battleground assessment. My wife and I learned quite a bit of information and were corrected on somethings that history has shown to be incorrect. I will definitely recommend Procom tours because they are totally inclusive and the price is very reasonable compared to other tours.

18-day Normandy to Krakow review

It would have been good to know which countries had pay tiolets so that I could make sure I had the correct currency when I got there

No A/C in Bastogne and No mini fridge in Krakow

Had less to do with WWII than any other place - too touristy

Steve was a little rough on us - too much walking

I thought the food was great. I really liked the cultural restaurants we visited along the way, much more than the hotel restaurants.

The tour managers were great. They were not only entertaining, but they were very concerned with our needs, wants, etc. Great job to both of them !!!!!

I saw so much. I loved that everything was included and the days were filled with so many things to do. Awesome trip !!!!!

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers R&R review

We loved the view of the Hotel Mercure, however the layout of the room wasn't the best. For instance, the bathroom had a heater in it right in front of the toilet and because my husband is tall, he had to sit almost sideways to have room for his legs. We were also on the 2nd floor so where the roof line fell, there was an angle on the ceiling where we kept hitting our head. Other than that, we really liked the location.

Absolutely loved this place

All of the guides were very knowledgeable and friendly.

I happened to select a vegetarian diet not that I can't eat meat, but I'm not fond of most types. The selection for the vegetarian plate wasn't great in most of the locations - it was either fish or salad. However the taste of the food was very good. Would have been nice to have a little better selection as I only remember one restaurant that actually offered vegetables. Most offered meat and potatoes.

I can't say enough good things about Rudy. This young man did a superb job and was constantly making sure everyone was okay and having a good time. He was a sweetheart to be around and we really enjoyed our time with him. Can't think of a single thing I would want him to change.

Mr. D was amazing

Given that we don't get to Europe on a frequent basis, this tour covered everything a WWII fan would want. It is a really busy trip and for people my age it can be a little bit taxing as we were always on the go. However we enjoyed everything we got to see and do and I felt that the price was very fair. It was very nice to have an all inclusive package so that we didn't have to worry about anything.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

My wife dealt with the consultant, she was very pleased.

For Utah and Omaha we had Christoph as our guide. He did a fantastic job in explaining what happened there. He was very detail oriented and was always willing to answer questions.

Arromanches is a beautiful town. It was amazing to see the remnants of the artificial harbors.

We really enjoyed the museum and original Pegasus Bridge.

A very enjoyable museum, the displays were every well done and the exhibits exceeded expectations.

Steve made Munich very memorable, he was truly and expert on the area in which we toured.

This was the perfect way for the trip to draw to a close. The sights were amazing.

I was totally blown away by the wealth of knowledge possessed by our guides. The only reason I gave Jean-Luc 4 stars was that he was at times hard understand due to English not being one of his strong suits.

There was a great deal of variety. The meals mainly consisted of local cuisine which was what I was hoping for.

Robert did an excellent job keep the tour moving smoothly. If there were any problems along the way we never knew it due to the way he handled things. Robert included some very nice personal touches that helped make the tour memorable.

Peter did a great job driving a huge vehicle in some of the most challenging conditions I have ever seen. I never felt nervous having him behind the wheel.

I came away from the tour very impressed. I was concerned about the cost going into the tour. Afterwards I feel that it was totally worth it. It was a stress free tour and I learned so much.

18-day London to Berchtesgaden review

I have NEVER had so much assistance and good information prior to a tour. Your staff for setting up the tour, adding hotel nights, etc., was truly exceptional.

You are the best organized and most informative of any tour company I have used in the USA, or abroad. The my tour site was just super.

One very minor - when we have a long driving time, tell us when we will have a restroom break, before we start. They did this some times, but not all. we know it may not be exact, but close estimate helps. Also, was not clear about how to access wifi on bus. When we joined in Normandy, those who had been picked up in Paris had been informed, but we were not. Also, did not receive that info on the Battle of Britian part.

Only issue with Bastogne was lack of AC. BUT, also know that is the norm for a lot of European hotels, so might not have been an option for tour company.

Outstanding in every way.

Excellent. Did not know it existed.

Great guide while there too!

A must see place.

Great local guide. Very impressive.

Lot of walking but worth it.

One reason I chose this tour.

Incredible.

Could not rate - was ill that day.

A huge must see.

Great to finally see this!

Super

Brought Band of Brothers to real life!

Sitting on fake logs in final video area was very painful.

Emotional day here.

No one knew which direction to go when got off elevator. I finally gave up because everything was just another restaurant.

The guides were incredible. So much knowledge. Hearing devices did not always work.

Inclusion of all meals was a deciding factor in selecting Pro Com. Just great.

Very very well organnized. Knowledgeable. Easy to approach.

Great service.

Tour was great. Staff in your office prior to tour, answering questions, etc., were fantastic. Tour was everything I had hoped for and more. Could not always hear guide while on the bus, which was disappointing. Also, never provided access to wifi, which was frustrating. Yes, definitely recomment the tour - already have to multiple people. Each stop was great and should be included. Local historians were awesome. Loved how the historians also had pictures of places/people/events and then showed us how we were standing in the exact same place. Also brought to life the people they highlighted at the cemeteries.

Excellent customer service

I was very informed

The only thing I would recommend is having a hotel with a washer and dryer

The tour was great but I think I would've spent my time at another historical location that wasn't so heavy.

Would have been nice to stay a longer at the Eagles Nest. I felt rushed. Having lunch there would've been great!

Excellent meals!

Robert was very efficient and accommodating. Excellent tour manager.

This tour was put together extremely well! Excellent accommodations, food and tour guides. Everything ran extremely smooth and efficient. Our tour manager did everything in his power to facilitate us and make us satisfied and comfortable.

The beep stew and fish dishes were not up to par. Belgium really needs to learn how to cook bacon!

Robert was the best. He kept us all ready for the events. Pleasant, knowledgeable, attentive to all of our individual needs and he's adorable. Truly caring and making more than just an effort to see that we had the best experience with this tour.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Very interesting and captivating!

Loved the chance to see places where the actual battles occurred.

LOVED Arromanches 360!

This was a favorite!

Until we got to the Siegfried Line, this was the least interesting of the whole trip.

Super fun to watch the guys look over the tanks, and I felt privileged to have such an experienced tour guide take us where many cannot go.

LOVED the wreath laying ceremony, it was very moving.

Would have loved more time to explore the museum.

Very interesting! Would have loved to visit on a day the stores were open.

Wonderful!

Robert was very nice and thoughtful. He worked hard to check in with all of us periodically to make sure we were good, not having any issues, etc. I especially appreciated him setting up the wreath laying ceremony.

Peter was AMAZING! He moved our bus in and out of places I would never have thought a bus could go. In addition, he had a great attitude. The only improvement to the motor coach would be to have just a tiny bit more room, especially for the longer drives.

Overall, I loved the tour. It was interesting, informative and overall complete. I will recommend your tour based on all the positive points I've noted.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Nikki was awesome!

They all had something unique and fun about them.

I even got to meet/greet with some WWII vets!

Christoph was like a walking history book.

Got to meet some English WWII vets during the ceremony/parade.

Henri's tour was amazing he was quite a character.

We got to stand in the same area and see the foxholes the 101st built.

Hearing the stories from the Director gave us so much more depth to the visit. Rob also made the visit extra special by giving us a special ceremony for the vets we had on our tour.

Very solemn experience but it makes you really appreciate everything you have in life.

Steve was very knowledgeable about everything Hitler/Nazi, it was almost eerie how many places we were that Hitler was previously at during the war.

I have never seen such beautiful mountains in my life!

All tour guides were very knowledgeable and excited to bestow their information to the group. My husband was so excited it was like watching him see a new WWII documentary! :)

I thought for sure the meals would be small as most are in Europe in my previous travels (during work). However, I was NOT hungry at all. Portions were huge and the selections were awesome!

Rob was awesome - he arranged for some special surprises for the group which everyone enjoyed. He also was able to keep the group moving and excited during the entire trip!

Peter was A-MAZING! He was able to maneuver that bus around and had a really great attitude the entire trip.

If we hadn't just bought a house we would be booking a second trip already!

Tour was awesome. Was a great mix of history and sightseeing. The hotels/food/travel was better than expected. We also had a bit of downtime to buy some souvenirs.

The tour was a great history lesson. We went to significant places in history. Very special and reverent places. The guides were wonderful. The tour manager and guides ensured we saw the important sites. I was especially excited about seeing all the beaches, arromanches, point du hoc, German gun battery, st Marie Eligise, Bastogne barracks and museum, the tanks, the fox holes, and the alps. It was all very significant to me and special.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

They answered all my questions, and were able to add my dad to the trip within the past 30 days when someone else cancelled, so I'm very impressed with them.

Everything important was provided, when we started our tour I think more detailed maps of the beaches and especially of the Battle of the Bulge for the driving tour day would have been very helpful if you'd have provided that

As stated before, the driving tour of the Battle of Bulge northern arc was confusing and could have used additional map handouts to help us understand, that would have been an improvement, and to a lesser degree the same with the beaches and understanding where for example the St. Mere Eglise paratroopers were supposed to land versus that spot and where that is relative to the beaches and key roads and bridges they needed to hold. Also, a roster of the folks on our trip with their photos would have been nice to help memorize that.

Christophe was truly exceptional as a local guide

The local guide was very good, incredibly knowledgeable, only could have been better if he'd have not been relating these horrors of the past to current events as that got a little political and he had a group of successful Americans on the trip that probably didn't need to hear him try to speak to us as if we had open minds on political views at this stage of our lives or that wanted to hear subtle complaints about Americans and others seeking power and money, wrong demographic for him to be having that conversation with on a tour that was otherwise very pro-American at every step

Christophe is simply superb, Henri had a very interesting story and was very good though he seemed to labor a bit at times with English in using "um" quite a bit to lose the continuity of the other guides, Jean-Luc is a good guy but quite a lot less information and enthusiasm than the other guides, Steve is great absent a bit of the political comments slipped in as I noted before. Overall, I was very impressed with the quality of the local guides.

Very good, Robert did a very good job with this. To me, it seemed a bit odd to be eating lunch at Dachau, though I know there may not have been any better options in the immediate area before we went to the shooting range, but very satisfied with the quality and ambiance and serving sizes of the meals

Robert is a rock star, he was exceptional in keeping things on track but still allowing us to roam a bit on our own, he was perfect, and incredibly helpful with any questions or concerns that anyone had

Peter was amazing and the coach is very, very nice, since we spent a lot of time on it, that was a big deal to have a great coach and driver.

Exceptional service, I came into this trip with very high expectations and you exceeded them

The tour was great! You provided an exceptional group of local tour guides at each site along with a full-time guide that managed everything 24/7 incredibly well, went to all the key spots that one would want to on this tour, provided great meals, hotels, tour bus and exceptional driver, kept things on schedule but allowed plenty of free time to allow us to not feel rushed, allowed us to see the outpouring of American patriotism felt by the locals in Normandy and Bastogne with the parades, ceremonies, reenactors, memorials, etc....the experience was once-in-a-lifetime and I highly recommend it.

5-day Normandy Invasion review

The booking process is very easy and the staff in Louisville are great in answering questions and setting everything up.

The "My Trip" site is great at providing all the information you need prior to the start of the tour. It includes information on fellow tour participants, itineraries, hotel information, suggested reading and more.

I really enjoyed staying at the Hotel Mercure Omaha Beach. The views are great! The wifi was good. The dinners at the hotel were exceptional as was the service.

Omaha Beach is a humbling experience. For me, it was very emotional especially visiting the Normandy American Cemetery which is within the Omaha Beach area.

I love Arromanches. It's hard to believe that it is Gold Beach because of the town and incredible scenery. During our visit, the beach became home to an outstanding WWII vehicle display as jeeps, trucks and tracked vehicles moved in as the tide went out.

The Pegasus Bridge Memorial is good. I enjoyed being able to see and walk on the original bridge. It is located just steps away from the actual glider landing sites.

Our local guide in Normandy was Christophe. He was outstanding, professional and very knowledgeable about events, locations and history in general.

As I experienced on my previous Beyond the Band of Brothers tours, the lunches and dinners were exceptional and filling. I did miss crispy American bacon but that seems to be the norm across France and other parts of Europe.

This was my second tour with Robert. I can't say enough good things about this young man. He goes above and beyond to make sure the tour meets everyone's expectations. On my first tour, Robert arranged a stop at a location in Belgium where a particular soldier that I researched was killed at. Since the first tour with Robert, I have adopted a low carbohydrate lifestyle. Robert went above and beyond again by helping to keep my meals as low of carbs as possible. Additionally, Robert's knowledge of history and the region is excellent. I consider him a professional and a friend.

All of the drivers and motor coaches are top notch. On this tour, Peter was the driver. He was very safe at driving and could get the motor coach out of some incredibly tight spaces! As for the motor coach, it was clean, comfortable and the wifi worked well.

From the times I've called with questions up until the end of the tour, Procom's service has been superior.

This was my third time to travel with Procom and my second time to the Normandy region. Normandy is beautiful but the beaches and cemeteries remind us at the true human price we pay for freedom. The tour takes you to the places and the guides explain events in detail. For me, standing on Omaha Beach during the anniversary with a professional guide explaining the details of that exact spot was emotional. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in the events of D-Day. You'll leave with with a much richer understanding of what happened and why each location was important to the success of the invasion. I was there during the 71st and 73rd anniversaries so there were many ceremonies and activities going taking place.

Robert is an incredible tour manager and went out of his way to ensure the happiness and comfort of all members of our tour group. 5 stars does not even begin to give him the recognition that he deserves. Ryan and I feel incredibly indebted to him for his actions - not only as a manager, but just a human being in general. You have an incredible gem in Robert.

It is a life changing experience and we were able to learn things that we never would have known without Robert and the tour guides.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Was a bit difficult visiting Bracourt Manner due to rain and mud.

Would have liked a bit more time to explore the site of the new bridge and surroundings.

Henri Mignon was amazing.

Unfortunately I was too tired to do the full walking tour!

All were great. I would welcome the chance to tour with all of them again. Unequaled in their knowledge.

Very friendly and flexible. He seemed to really have things under control all the time.

"Charlie" was great and I believe we all enjoyed interacting with him!

More than met my expectations. Introduced some aspects of the sites that I was not aware of which is always great!

I also went to the 101st museum, which was very good.

The local guides were added so much to our trip, and were all top notch.

Rudy was a great guide- always very professional and friendly. He has the right personality to deal with tour groups with varying interests and wishes.

Charlie was great- always felt safe and at ease with him doing the driving.

I couldn't have asked for much more in 11 days, especially with the amount of miles we covered. I would recommend this tour for anyone who has an interest in military history

shower was an issue--very slippery with no bath mat. could have been dangerous or caused an injury. A simple rubber bath mat would have been nice.

The tour guide at Pegasus was one of the best ever! She knew everything and was extremely helpful!

Rudy helped make the trip a lifetime memory! I really enjoyed getting to know him. Great choice!

Rudy was a great tour manager and a very nice guy! He and the driver (Charlie) did an outstanding job! I hope I am another tour that Rudy leads!

Charlie was awesome--We were in awe of how he navigated the narrow streets and tight corners. Only comment about the bus--any chance of getting one that has power outlets to recharge phones and cameras?

Awesome tour! Well done!

The pace was perfect! I'm still trying to recover from an incredible experience! The sights, the history, the views and all the people on the tour! Couldn't have been any better!

I'd rather spend more time at the museum then the cemetery visit

Group too large for bunker visit and many missed the details of the talk given.

I didn't like the format and flow of the museum

Munich walk was too fast and we got dehydrated quickly. Guide was hard to understand as he kept moving his mouth away from the microphone (need a mic close to mouth rather then the lapel)

The Breakfasts in Bastogne and Munich seemed to be lacking eggs too often

Excellent driver!!!

Great tour with lots of details provided by the local guides

Rudy was professional, calm, knowledgeable, and always considerate. Rudy #2 was awesome with his personalized sketches of soldiers lives at various locations in Normandy!

Everything was excellent except the grilled cheese sandwich we had for lunch. I really enjoyed the hotel meals, as well as several of the restaurants away from the hotel.

Rudy was fun and kept the tour running like a fine tuned watch.

The driver handled the tight turns and narrow streets like a champion!

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

The hotel at Omaha Beach was fine, but a bit small. Beautiful location, but it was not real close to town for nightlife activities (i.e. bars and restaurants). Dinner here was very good. The hotel in Bastone was a very nice hotel in a great location. The room was large. Breakfast was great. Owners were very friendly. Dinners were excellent. The hotel in Munich was fine, and was in an ok area -- more mall-like and lots of teens hanging around. The buffet dinners were average.

Though I would have liked to have spent more time in the Utah Beach museum. I would rather have spent less time at the British cemetery and more time at the museum.

We went to the Airborn Museum during our free time. We liked that museum better than the Bastogne War Museum.

Neat to see the Eagle's Nest, but hard to see with restaurant in the way. The bunkers were very cool.

All guides were excellent. Lots of information. Sometimes hard to keep up with Henri's explanations, but enjoyed his personal stories. Steve walked pretty fast and some of the group had a hard time keeping up.

Most meals were excellent. I didn't care for the buffet we had while traveling between Normandy and Bastogne. The buffets at the Munich hotel was average. The meal at the Munich brew house was the best, and most fun. Our waitress was awesome. I would have preferred to have quicker, lighter lunches, such as sandwiches. Sometimes I would have rather had a quick lunch and done some souvenir shopping. There would have been opportunities to do this at Gold Beach (Mulberry Harbor area), one day in Bastonge, and one day in Munich. Overall, great food and I enjoyed trying the local foods and beers.

Kept us moving and no one was left behind!

Excellent tour! Yes, I would recommend the tour because it was well organized, and hit many important WWII sites. I could not have put this tour together by myself and seen so much. The tour guides were excellent. Most of the meals were excellent. I felt well informed about where to meet and when. I also felt safe in all the places we visited.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Neither the Mercure or Melba had air conditioning and the showers were exceptionally difficult to use. The locations were nice however.

This could have been longer

Eagle's Nest itself was disappointing but other sites in the area were very interesting!

They were all good and added much value.

Some meals were better than others and there was always plenty to eat. I actually gained weight on the tour. It would have been nice to have had more choice/variety on some of the dinners.

Rudy was very personable and likeable and kept everyone informed of the days activities.

Charlie was an excellent driver. The wifi left much to be desired.

Overall, I am quite satisfied with the service I received.

I thought that the tout was very good and I feel like I saw and learned much. The food was generally good and the local guides were terrific. For these reasons and the fact that we were shown sites that most people don't get to see, I would heartily recommend this tour!

My second tour with Robert. He is excellent.

The coach needed some new shocks in the back. It bounced too much.

Always top notch.

The bus trips to Dover and Portsmouth were long. I would rather see the tour go to a hotel out that way at the end of the tour and go to the Tank Museum aka Bovington. They could drive back to the Novotel after Bovington for the last night, than leave the following morning by plane. Good bang for the buck.

Very Helpful

All very nice based on location and amenities. Food good as well

All were very informative. They brought the past back to life and introduced new facts which the history books and documentaries do not include

If anything, I had too much food

Robert went way above and beyond to ensure the group was well taken care of. From making sure John (90 years) was comfortable to helping me take the right train in Munich. What a valuable asset you have in Robert. Don't let him get away!

Top Shelf

Very good. If I could change any one thing it would be the instructions on where to meet at the airport in Paris. As a first time traveler to this airport, and being an American who is hesitant to ask for directions, many like me, found the meeting location very difficult to find. The exit to the parking lot maybe needs to be videoed and put online so future tour groups can find it easier. This was the only real issue we encountered.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

First-rate service. Exceeded all expectations!

No detail missed, large or small. Questions answered promptly. We arrived totally prepared.

All very good hotels, we were pleased with the accommodations along with food, beverage and hotel services. Having a nice place to stay is critical of any trip and your choices were excellent. We especially enjoyed the Melba Hotel in Bastogne.

Our local guide along with main tour guide Robert prepared us fully for what we were about to see. Simply extraordinary to walk the beaches and area museums.

This was particularly meaningful to me. When the Band of Brothers Series was released, I worked with HBO including doing an interview with Carwood Lipton. He told me the harrowing tale of taking out the German Guns aimed at Utah Beach. After walking the beach, and again experiencing the wonderful museum, going to the site where E-Company took out those guns shelling Utah Beach and hearing from the family who has owned the land for generations was very moving. This was a key early battle and to see where it happened was why we choose this tour.

Again, most meaningful. I'm a Canadian by birth and touring Juno where the Canadians landed made me proud. The trouble guide from the museum was very informative. Like walking the actual beaches and seeing the German gun emplacements and bunkers showed just how big the challenge D-Day was. Enormously proud of my countrymen!

Wow. This operation was textbook from the British Airborne taking the bridge to Lord Lovat and his Commandos relieving them. Seeing the Horsa Glider and walking on the actual bridge, seeing the bullet and shell marks was amazing. Also knowing that a key scene from the movie "The Longest Day" was a neat surprise.

Walking through the peaceful woods, yet seeing the fox holes where Americans literally both fought and froze was very moving. Our local guide Henri Mignon, who was just 9 during the actual battle was very informative. Few know the size and ferocity of this key battle which could have gone either way. Once again, just walking there and imagining what our brave troops did to win the day and ultimately the war was extraordinary.

Again, we think we know so much then when you tour the museum you find out how much you didn't know!

A beautiful resting place for those who paid the supreme sacrifice. We were very moved by the way the cemetery honors our troops who died in combat. Especially proud of the local American Air Force who were cleaning and maintaining the grave markers.

Stunning to see first hand the murderous barbarity of the Nazis. The horrors and atrocities committed here must never ben forgotten, and example of what happens when evil runs amok. But ultimately the memorials, especially the one of the Jewish Faith showed that there is always hope. That we can and must learn from past mistakes and what happens when we ignore evil which is often in plain sight.

Seeing where that monster, adopt hitler and the barbarous ss got their start showed how it could happen anywhere. Walking where evil began again a reminder of how we must be ever vigilant.

Extraordinary engineering accomplishment. All for a murderer and his mistress to have tea! Impressive and horrifying at the same time. One could only wonder if all that work could have been put to peaceful use instead of barbarity. That said, the views are simply extraordinary and breath taking.

Simply put, we learned so much. Could not have been more pleased.

Actually quite good and exceeded expectations. Some were better than others but all were very good. There were also opportunities for tour members to check out other local eateries. Frankly the most fun was sampling all the European Beers!

LOVE THIS MAN! No detail was too small for him to deal with. He kept us on scheduled yet never rushed. We were lucky to have him as our guide as you are to have him on your team. Just a remarkable guy.

The bus was comfortable and sparklingly clean. Peter is the best tour bus driver in the world.

First-rate. EVERYTHING came off as promised. No surprises, just exceeding expectations every day.

We simply cannot say enough of this experience from initially reaching out to you, the booking process and of course the actual tour. Calling it first-class doesn't seem a high enough compliment! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

5-day Normandy Invasion review

First off, it was my first time to France and I am very happy I chose Beyond Band of Brothers. The guides, the bus driver, and everyone else helped make it a pleasurable experience. I would highly recommend Beyond Band of Brothers to anyone going on such a trip for the first time or anyone who has a casual interest or minimal knowledge of WWII. As I stated earlier, there were some places that were not covered on the tour that I would like to have seen. I understand, however, that there are certain limitations in scheduling, etc. This tour most definitely "wet my appetite" for another, lengthier, visit to Normandy, which I hope to take in the very near future. . Thank you all so much for all you have done and for all you are doing in keeping history alive!!!!!!!

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

The ladies were excellent and very helpful.

Cold and windy, try to fix that next time, LOL!

Beautiful area.

Excellent

Very touching.

Great city, at least the old areas, enjoyed it greatly. Very interesting historical aspects.

Snow, rain, miles of tunnels, what's not to like, LOL! Was beautiful, awe inspiring scenery and feats of construction. One of my favorites parts of the trip.

Have recommended all three to people I know in the business.

They were good, filling and, seemingly, often. Weight watcher's for me for awhile. I am not overly impressed by eating, as long as it is palatable and filling; I am no gourmet. Having said that I still found the meals enjoyable and , for me, a pleasant change of pace.

Robert is almost neurotic in his desire to please his guests. He is always moving, asking people if they are doing alright, do they need anything, can he get them anything. I don't think he sleeps as he always seems to be around. I was completely satisfied with his attention to detail and work ethic! (did I get that all right Robert? LOL!) Seriously, he was great and I would be happy to do any tour with him again.

Impressed with the level of competence and driving skills of all the drivers in Europe, but particularly these guys that maneuver a large vehicle through 3/4 lane areas without major body work. Peter was fantastic.

No complaints (and that is saying a lot for me)

Very well put together and orchestrated. Only change I might suggest is to start earlier and get in a bit earlier. The rush to dinner was a bit much at times. I would prefer a bit of time to unwind, maybe even shower, before dinner. Basically I guess I'm complaining about too much tour for the dollar. I am used to getting up early so it just seemed like a lot of time in the morning could be spent on touring as opposed to running late. I realize most people don't get up early though. A very small thing, not a problem as it is only a few weeks and worth it at any rate. And YES, I would highly recommend you tours based on my single experience. Keep up the good work and I hope we will do it again soon.

Never had any issues, but staff was always in contact

Hotels were just fine. Unusual to have two double beds side-by-side when traveling with brother-in-law, but we were able to rearrange rooms to separate beds and understand the bed set up is part cultural differences and lake of space in smaller rooms

Rudy has a great knack for telling stories and painting pictures. Out of the three, Steve's knowledge blew me away

Mostly good, some of the buffets weren't the best but we made due

Robert was absolutely amazing. I could go on and on here with compliments for him, but the main takeaway is what a wonderful overall job he did

Peter is an incredible driver

Great your for any WWII enthusiast. Hit all the sites and the knowledge provided is invaluable

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

More petty comments, but Hotel Mercure was a nice hotel, but limited the amount of time someone could explore the surrounding area during any free time.

More time on Omaha beach would have been nice given its historical significance.

Henri was extremely knowledgeable and maybe the best guide out of the whole group. His disciplined approach limited questions and frankly his arrogance got in the way of his overall effectiveness.

If someone starved, it was their fault.

Robert did a good job herding the cats. Many different personalities to manage and he did a good job doing it without a lot of drama. There was one challenging group but he didn't let that drama feed into the overall group. Job well done. My only suggestion for Robert is I offered up a couple of additional ideas to him for the tour. Rather than offering up a defense to why they weren't done, sometimes pulling out a pen and paper and nod is a more positive response. Even if the paper gets tossed in the trash, it shows him as open to additional suggestions and maybe someone comes up with an idea to help increase Procom's revenue opportunities or overall tour experience.

Only reason for not 5 stars was issues with the internet. More of a vendor issue was we understand it, but customers should never see vendor issues.

Very professional from start to finish.

Very pleased with the purchase and I would highly recommend to other people. Definitely have many different expectations to meet that you have people interested in history who aren't well read then you have others that are well read looking to learn something new. A fine balance to meet for such a large group.

Great meals, at times the portions weren't great (high variability in portion size between patrons - the "average" was probably ok but variability was high)

Truly excellent experience. Robert was great and went completely above and beyond to give us a great tour

Would recommend again without hesitation A tour like this is an incredible way to see the area and learn about it. Of course there are things we'd all love to do with more time (for me St. Lo) but I appreciate the challenge in setting up a tour like this. Great job all around

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

I am a person that likes "details", and Procom provided such complete information, that I did not have any questions.

I think we should have been informed that there is a limit as to the Wi-Fi usage on the bus.

It was a pleasure to have these gentlemen as our guides. Friendly, outgoing, and eager to answer all questions that we had. They were the BEST that I have ever had.

He was always available to us, and provided detailed information as to our schedule for each day

Excellent driver. I felt safe and secure at all times while on the bus. He was exactly on time.

Well planned, and complete.

8-day Battle of the Bulge review

Robert was 100% perfect. This young man is super conscientious in insuring the complete satisfaction of every tour participant. Here's an example: One evening we were scheduled to have duck for dinner. That's a perfectly good choice but I just don't like duck. I casually mentioned that to another tour participant and either Robert overheard the comment or the other guest mentioned it to him. Mind you, I wasn't complaining in the least but decided just to skip that meal. When we returned to the hotel, Robert called me in the room and asked if I would prefer beef stew for dinner. I was flabbergasted at his concern for me. That is one of hundreds of examples of how this young man cared for us.

Henri Mignon is a treasure beyond price!

Not a complaint but Too much food. All very good.

Our coach driver was absolutely superb!

I can't imagine anyone doing a better service

Yes, the Bastogne tour is a must and Procom does it best

8-day Battle of the Bulge review

Never seemed bothered by the multiple times I called with questions always got back to me

Everything was fully ready to go

People at the Bastogne Hotel bent over backwards to assist us and were very helpful and friendly with dietary needs or changes

This was an awesome experience and was added to by the re-enactors in town that weekend. Many were living in the actual conditions ie; outside though there was no snow

this was an excellent experience. We had headsets describing the battlefield through the eyes of 4 participants. Was great that we could go at our own pace

Not a beer drinker so stayed in town and went to another museum

loved walking the Siegfried line , the Wereth 11 memorial and the battlefield lecture given by the localk historian who lived through the experience

Loved Viadan Castle. The second one was more ruins than castle but still a good experience and a nice change on the tour

Very moving. The information given by the head caretaker was awesome

There was so much to see here we could have probably spent a few more hours there

really enjoyed this part of the tour especially the history and the free time to walk around and converse with the locals. Restaurant we chose here was the only downside . Food was fair

Robert was knowledgeable, very flexible and made sure we were always satisfied. He managed to keep us herded which was difficult at times due to some wanderers. He always had the next days itinerary posted in the evenings, which helped on how to dress. He always made sure to see if we all were happy with what we were doing be it meals tour, or historical questions

Henri and Scott were by far the most interesting but there depth of knowledge combined with the larger scope of their tours made them the hands down favorites

Most all of the meals were very good. Would have like a little more variety in restaurants in Bastogne as we ate at the same one several times. That said the food was very good. The exception was in Luxembourg City where I found the food fair. Definitely the least favorite of the entire trip

Mr D was a marvel. having driven truck I was amazing how he navigated the narrow roads and lanes and how easily he made it look to completely turn the bus around on some of these same narrow roads

I found the tour an overall very good value for the money and was greatly please I had chosen to take this tour

16-day Grand Pacific review

Cassie was kind and patient!

Your "My Tour" check list and other aids were very helpful.

Especially enjoyed the mix of Cultural History of each place along with the story of the battles.

Very knowledgable of Guam's culture and the battle history. Well prepared and an excellent host!

Same comment as above on Saipan and Tinian!

I do not enjoy Buffet style as the food is usually not hot. I can understand why that is the most efficient way to feed the group.

Charlie seems to be a very experienced Manager. He is efficient and is on top of the situation at all times. At the same time he is able to give you personal attention and see to your own personal needs. He went out of his way and provided special help on several occasions Rudy is a very personable young man and will become a great manager. He too, provided personal service tom on several occasions.

The driver on Tinian seemed to be able to get anywhere. HooRah!

The Tours are well organized and managed. The local guides are very knowledgeable. Every effort has been made to assure the your tour is factual and entertaining. I have on several occasions since my 1st tour to Europe recommended Procom to several

8-day Battle of the Bulge review

Must see, critical part of the history

Very good, interpretive presentation was well done

Fun, nice diversion from the rest of tour

Again, a must see to get a sense of what happened

One castle was plenty, two was a bit much

Excellent presentation by the Director and a key part of the tour

Probably the most museum related to the "hardware" of war

Interesting city, Christmas market was a letdown

Robert did a good job keeping things moving and was well informed

Henri is a treasure, as was Scott

All were good to great, the pizza in Luxembourg was outstanding and a welcome suprise

The tour was very good, with a blend of WW2 history and some diversions that worked well. I like the fact that it is all inclusive

8-day Battle of the Bulge review

The consultant provided basic info for the trip.

Everything was satisfactory. One surprise of was using the room key to turn on electricity and pushing a bar in the wall to flush the toilet.

Robert was very professional but not dictatorial. He has an excellent sense of humor. He explained everything very well. I always felt that each day was handled very well and I had no concerns or worries at all.

Henri was so special because he was able to combine personal experiences with factual information about the battle. He was so special. The other tour guides were excellent!

I gained weight because the food was so good. I could not deny myself anything!!

The bus was very comfortable, smooth and quiet ride. I was amazed at its maneuverability! Our driver was great and we appreciated he was required to have rest periods to help him stay alert and driving well.

I have already recommended this tour to my friends and family. I look forward to our next trip with Procom and Beyond Band of Brothers!
